  2. Will this do mam? Got an ohm meter 100 feet 28 gauge 100 feet 30 gauge 100 feet 26 gauge 2 510 to Ego Adapter Connections I bought one and one came with the ohm meter. I now have about 5 and I never remember why I wanted them when they arrive lol. I'll tape one to my mod so I don't forget and order more. All this was only $30 from lightening vapes! Their customer service was amazing, I somehow got it shipped to an address with no mailbox anymore, emailed the vendor, within 30 minutes they had tracked it and confirmed (I assume) that it was returned to sender, then sent me a new shipment "expedited" to make up for the time and had the new tracking number to me. I realized and emailed them Monday morning, had it arrive with signature confirmation Wednesday afternoon, so right at 48 hours from me realizing it was returned to sender to me having my supplies in hand.

I have in Vision Spinner 4 1300mah all over a year old. A couple have been submerged in water. They still all last me 18-24 hours depending on how I vape. 0 issues 4 650mah only about 3-4 months old. Last me 10-12 hours. Mainly use these when I need a small piece to be a little stealthy 1 900mah about 4 months old that my wife uses so not sure how long it lasts bet there have been 0 issues 1 V2 1600mah and another on the way. When it arrives I expect to gift my Vamo to someone because it is the best Ego battery I have ever had my hands on. If you had that many issues you probably got knockoffs or a bad batch possibly imo. That's the only logical way I could even conceive someone calling these garbage. I have only three items that have given me 0 issues since I started vaping over a year ago. Those are Vision Spinners, Anyvape Davide Minis, and KPT2. Everything else has had at least small issues.

    I need your prayers.

I know it's tough. Just my opinion but even though his mind may be gone you have to keep in your own mind the thoughts of how he really is at his best. I know you do bit it will help you get thru it. When my own mother became ill and eventually slipped in to a coma i had a long private conversation with her. I reminisced with her on the wonderful moments of her life. I acknowledged all the help and good she had been in her life. I let her know we all loved her annd would miss her and she would remain very much a part of our lives. She passed in her sleep that night. It was beautiful. I only say this to make the point that although it seems difficult you CAN still communicate to your father and he will get it. Mike

  12. Forgive me if there's already a thread but I just received a coupon code for 50% off the first month for Craft Vapery and, after doing research on their site, signed up. I'd been looking for a juice subscription service that would give me more flexibility with choosing what I actually like to vape since I tend to get overwhelmed with all the companies and flavors out there. It seems they really personalize the whole experience. I was with another company and they just sent me so-so several samples and one 30ml of a premium brand. Wasn't for me. But, I figured what the heck...I can always cancel if I don't end of liking the experience. Anyway, thought I'd share the code: TRYCRAFTNOW50 and the site is craftvapery.com Mods: apologies if this is the incorrect forum. Please move if you deem fit.

  13. Watermelon is my favorite, but I think the Strawberry is just as good, I just happen to like watermelon better. I'm a basic fruit kind of all day vape guy. The cake batter is my go to juice for sitting at home relaxing and dripping or treat vaping from cartomizers I set aside for a sweet tooth. The snickerdoodle is a close second out of the ones I've tried. We really aren't making this any easier lol You would think that the basic fruit flavors would be similar to some of the other popular ones, but Comp's tend to be more full and "brighter", and they're more of a true flavor than a candyish over sweet flavor like some of the others.

  14. Thanks for the tip, Tameiki! I just went on a shopping binge on juice, clearos and replacement heads. Now I am better prepared. Surprisingly, I have not picked up an anolog ever since I switched to vaping. Despite from my nic withdrawal since I did not pick the right nic level, it is by far the most effective I have tried.

  15. I got some juice from EC Blends, it was almost all perfumey/alcoholy, but airing it out a bit fixed that for most of them. There's a burnt taste in the Cantaloupe after it's been sitting a month, I finally emailed them asking if someone elsehas complained of the rancid flavor, it's like if you let milk spoil until it gets chunky, burn it in a skillet to hell and back and then take a big vape. However the watermelon was vapable within a week. Then I ordered Fadora juice because I was too new to vaping to be waiting a monh to know if I'd even like it. Fadora changed my toot life. It arrived packaged so nicely and obiously freshly made, yet was extraordinarily delicious. It gets better with time though, but I had to work REALLY hard to let any sit around long enough to know.

  16. I do know from mixing for so many years that a fresh mix needs to rest a day or two, that will happen in shipping Honestly "steeping" is a term that is misused, aging would be more appropriate. If you let my Signature Juice sit with the spices added then you are "Steeping" and changing the flavor over time.

  19. To the OP... I understand your concerns for their safety, but I'm not sure I'd go the route of a safe, unless I had the need for one for my stocks, bonds, loose cash, and jewelry (not that I have any of those things, lol). But, if you want a reasonably secure "box", you might invest in a fire-proof document box... they lock, and nobody would think twice about one on the shelf. I do have a couple of those in the house... for deeds, titles, marriage/birth certificates, etc. Another option which would be inconspicuous would be a "money box"... cheap lock, yes, but still a lock.... and your juices would probably fit "upright" in it, to prevent any leakage from bad lids. Toss it in the closet, kitchen cabinet, or on a shelf and nobody would probably even notice it? One constant in the universe is that "locks keep honest people honest, but never stop the determined"... and sometimes a locked box/cabinet only piques curiosity.... like hanging a neon sign.... I have teens in and out of my house too... my e-juice is on the shelf in my office, batteries on my desk, and even the liquor is unlocked (but in a cabinet out of the way of prying eyes)... Nobody has ever attempted to bother them. Then again, this is Kentucky... and we tend to leave shotguns on the kitchen table here too, I guess I've got good kids (and their friends). They don't bother my guns (but know how to use them), drink my liquor, smoke my cigars (when I had them around), and they don't bother my e-cigs/e-juices.... They'd rather spend their on the computer, Xbox, PS3, or phone

It will never match a mechanical for vapor production, but I cannot tell any difference between my Vamo and my Spinner V2 as far as vapor production goes, or my others as far as that goes. I just like them because I am not in a vapor production contest and at times I wish I could have less vapor (as my office fills up again and one of my employees walks in waving his hands in it lol). Mods and APVs are fine, most love them. They are just not for me because there is just more to go wrong and like I said a million times, I am a find what works and stick with it guy. Once you hold and use the V2 1600mah Spinner you will not call it a little Ego battery I assure you lol.

(4 day weekend for me) I will probably start it in the VIP area so we can all look at it and have input into it, in the event I leave something out, that way we can also get a mod to edit if need be before it goes public to all viewers.

  32. Stickies are good... and I agree that some could use an update, and I like the Quick-Start Guide idea Search is an underused tool (although I'm guilty of not digging too deep in the searches, too)... And points #4 and #5 seem to be an issue lately, don't they (not just on the forum)? Noob's chasing huge clouds is not something new though... just like guys who drop $15K on a fancy, over-powered sport-bike (without learning how to ride first) with the sole purpose of popping wheelies and doing 'stoppies' because they look cool on youtube "SQUIDs", in the bike-world... And when one of them gets hurt doing something stupid... they give the rest of us a bad reputation...

I can't heat up my coils!

Hmmm..... buy an ohm meter! You seem to have the general concept of building even if you did overlook the simplest and most important part of it. If your using 28g at 5 wraps, I don't necessarily think your resistance is your issue, unless of course you vented your battery and now your battery is toast, because you didn't have a ohm meter to check if the resistance on your coil was in a reasonable level for your particular battery to handle the amps. But hey at least you still have a hand so that's a plus! Check the center pin on your mech mod, some are adjustable and it may just be too low and isn't making contact with the center pin on your RDA's. Oh and in case it wasn't mentioned, buy an ohm meter, they are fairly cheap. Cheaper then replacing batteries or paying a hospital bill from losing your hand or something.
    1 point
  45. The readon for testing on an ohms checker is to see if there is a dead short. It may be that your post screws have backed off a little, it could be that you have a defective post in your atty. It may just be that the 510 connection of your atty isn't making contact with the positive pin of your mod. There are a myriad of reasons. If you try to run an untested build on a mech, you can turn your mech into a virtual hand grenade. The battery can vent and overpressure the tube causing a catastrophic failure in your hand and face. This is unacceptable. We as vapers are already villified because of bad info and press. We don't need more bad press because an inexperienced vaper to mechs gets hurt.

I love my Kamry K100, it works very well, but my Magneto knocks my socks off in performance. The push button on the bottom doesn't have a spring like the K100 so it's much easier to fire and use. If you're going with a mech, you might check out the Magneto. It's a little more expensive (not by much), and the cost is more than worth it, imo. I got mine from Fadora. http://www.fadoravapor.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=34_35&products_id=55 You'll need to get batteries, a charger and the tank/coils too. The batteries that came with my K100 kit were, at best, okay. You'll definitely want to get better batteries for it anyway. The charger that comes in the kit? Junk. I wouldn't feel safe using the thing very often so you'd have to replace that, too. By the time you finish replacing everything you'll need, the Magneto would run you about the same but offer a better vaping experience. And those are just my two cents.
