  1. Congrats on your retirement, @VapeMama! I just put my notice of retirement in a few weeks ago and my last day of work will be June 30th. Trying to get everything done so I can leave with a clean slate is keeping me very busy right now but my plan is to work extremely hard at doing absolutely NOTHING for the whole month of July. After that, plans are to tear into my apartment one room at a time to clean and purge and reorganize. Can't wait! Have fun with the kids and grandkids! I bet they keep you very busy.
  2. Wasn't the vape mail ban put off once again? I seem to remember seeing something about that but I could be wrong.
  3. Hi all! Yes, it's all too quiet around here. I check in and keep tabs on who is registering. So many of the vendors signing up are hawking CBD or other products of that type. Not many actual vapers or wanna be vapers signing up these days. With the vape mail ban in the works I've been stock piling all kinds of supplies. @FXRich I hope you'll keep us updated on how your vendor experiences wind up. In other news... how the heck are you all? I want to hear how you've been, what you've been up to... who wants to go first?
  4. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You're more than welcome to post discussions and comments on the forum but please be sure to adhere to the rules for vendors and do not spam the forum with links to your store unless you're in the vendor section. I hope you enjoy your stay at Vapor Talk.
  5. Well, it's been about a year since this thread started - as well as the pandemic picking up steam. How's everyone doing? We're doing well so far. My SO's father caught it in the care center where he lives but thank goodness he was asymptomatic. Since then he's been testing negative and has gotten his two shots. We're still waiting for ours. Apparently, when the Governor put "educators" on this list as priority for shots, those of us in higher ed don't fit into that category. We were relegated to getting it when the general public got theirs despite him wanting us open for business. We fin
  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  7. If you google "Dovpo MVV Potentiometer Mechanical Mod" you'll get lots of different links to youtube videos that show you how to use it as well as other articles.
  8. @Christopher, since you updated the forum I've noticed that there's no way to tone down the background of the pages. It's super bright and is hard for me to read. Any chance you could add a "less bright" version for easier reading?
  9. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  10. Haven't heard of that brand in several years. Good luck finding some, though!
  11. You're more than welcome to ask lots of questions but please leave off the spammy links to the products. If you persist, it'll make you look like a spammer and get you banned from the forum. Thank you for your cooperation.
  12. Talk of CBD products is prohibited on the general forum. I've moved your post to the area where CBD discussion is allowed. Read the rules of the forum for more information. Thank you.
  13. Can you give the name/model of your mod? That would help us to help you better.
  14. Good luck in your search, and I'm glad you're out of the hospital and feeling better!
  15. The first thing I'd suggest is to change the coil to a new one. I find that, when my coil is getting gunked up it tends to make me cough. If you're vaping less and getting cranky, then try a juice with a little more nicotine in it. That will give you the same amount of nic while vaping less that you got when you were vaping more. Does that make sense? Good luck, and let us know if any of this works for you!
  16. Glad to hear you got it figured out! Sometimes you just get a bad coil or three or five. Anyway, thanks for the update.
  17. Also, what PG/VG are you using? Higher VG content will gunk up a coil faster. The sweeter the juice will do the same thing so the coil doesn't last as long before getting a burnt taste.
  18. Sorry, I'm not familiar with your set up but just a couple of generic things to look into might be... Once you put in a new coil and let it sit, are you opening up the ports so the juice can get to the coil rather than in "fill up" mode? You should be able to see the the coil through the open ports. If you have it open but can't see the wick opening, you might need to take it apart enough so you can back out the coil just a little so the port can show. Also check to make sure your air flow is wide open. I hope it's something that's this easy to fix. Let us know how it goes. Good luck!
  19. The flavor of your eliquid would also make a difference in how smooth it vaped. I don't care for much throat hit either but I vape 60 PG/40 VG chocolate malt by EC Blends and it is still very "smooth." Lower heat on your coils will also lessen the harsh factor. Fruits, some candies, anything with a high citrus or acidic flavor could be seen as "harsh" while creams, baked goods, and anything on the sweeter, creamier side would be smooth. Hope that helped?
  20. Good for you and your mom to switch to vaping. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  21. If you clean your tank that often I would be looking for a damaged or missing gasket somewhere on your tank. If things are sticky then it's eliquid seeping out, not so much water condensation. Once you find and replace the gasket that's leaking I would not be cleaning the tank quite so often. I clean mine maybe once a month or so as needed? Also, you don't need to change coils that often either, that can get expensive fast! When you notice flavor dropping off, not tasting as good, or it makes you cough, then change out the coil. Otherwise, if you don't constantly chain vape, a coil should las
