  1. Our locale TV "news" stations have been having interviews with all kinds of so-called "experts" on vaping and health. The only problem is, they know virtually nothing about vaping more than the bull pucky they've seen on the TV news...
  2. Truly an oxymoron. They're killing off the people from which they get their money. Maybe we'll just remove the oxy part. Seems to fit better.
  3. In addition to the advise that Walt gave you, can you go back to the store and ask if you can buy just the flavoring and some PG (polypropylene glycol)? It's the PG that delivers the throat hit (as well as a higher nic content). Adding PG to your existing juice will thin it out some and it will also dilute the flavor a bit as you're adding more liquid. You may notice that you'll get a little less vapor when you add the PG (PG is the flavor carrier and thinner than VG. VG makes your juice sweeter, mellows out the throat hit and makes it smoother, gives you more vapor). That might help you out.
  4. Same with me in that my HDL cholesterol is on the low side of average where before it was pretty damned high, blood pressure went down a bit more (which could be a bad thing for me because it was a little lower than the optimal 120/80 before but....), and I'm not short of breath anymore when I exert myself walking up and down stairs. My doctor is much happier with me since I started vaping.
  5. The website's name is Teespring - they sell t-shirts, bags, etc. At a quick glance it seems all of their jack o'lanterns are upside down although none of the other graphics have legs.
  6. I thought about putting a NSFW warning but it's actually not NSFW until your own mind puts it there.
  7. To add to the idiocy -- let's just ignore all the years people have been vaping before this "crisis" came up and we're all healthier than we've ever been... but don't let facts get in your way. SMH
  8. Got this in my email today and did a double take. Does anyone else see this as being a little... off?
  9. Just a little minor digging is all it took to find these articles - most just showed up in my daily news feed. How hard is it for people to get more than one side (that all vaping is evil!) of the story? Honestly.
  10. Here is yet another interesting article: Illegal vapes traced to California woman who was CBD pioneer https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/illegal-vapes-traced-california-woman-050227876.html
  11. The Independent published this article from a doctor. He is saying what we've known and is actually using common sense. I'm an American doctor. Here's the truth about Juul, vaping and legalizing marijuana https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/juul-ban-flavors-vaping-marijuana-legalize-a9161971.html
  12. I read another article just today about a high school girl who became very ill after vaping. She at least admitted that she sometimes used THC cartridges... but it was only rarely. I'm with you, @Bebop. I, too, think the numbers are fudged, it's more likely to be something along the lines of 95% vaped THC and 5% were from other previous health issues. My numbers are much more likely, but that's just my opinion.
  13. Were you around when we had someone on the forum who used the metal from the inside of a twist tie to build coils?
  14. https://www.leafly.com/news/industry/california-vape-maker-kushy-punch-caught-making-illegal-products California vape maker Kushy Punch caught making illegal products On that note, here's an article about one California vape company that's licensed making and selling unlicensed THC product and pushing it out the back door.
  15. That was sarcasm, @cany , with a dash of irony.
  16. While we're banning things... why are cigarettes and alcohol still legal? Hmmm?
  17. Any why are the powers that be still trying to ban everything about vaping flavors even now that they have more information??? Thinking and researching clearly are not done by very many people.
  18. According to Google it says that an unopened bottle of VG that's stored somewhere dark and cool can last up to 5 years. Two years for PG in the same conditions.
  19. @Squid So sorry to hear you're having to scramble to stock up on juice even before the federal ban takes place (in whatever form). I hope you find an alternative so you don't have to go back to analogs.
  20. Good to know. I was beginning to wonder...
  21. Are you sure? You might've turned into a zombie and just didn't know it.

  23. From CBS news this time: E-cigarette panic is ruining "biggest public health opportunity" in 120 years, scientist says https://www.cbsnews.com/news/vaping-deaths-us-blowing-single-biggest-public-health-opportunity-in-120-years-as-debate-e-cigarettes-scientist/ Now, even though still pretty rare, we're starting to see another point of view other than, "OHMYGODVAPINGISGOINGTOKILLEVERYBODY!" As soon as payday rolls around I'll be stock piling my favorite juice. Lord knows I've got enough hardware to outlast a zombie apocalypse and I can build my own coils if needed. Not having enough drip tips will never be an issue, however.
  24. Why is it that all the articles that actually makes sense are found in the Washington Post? https://beta.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/09/16/vaping-ban-would-be-hysteria-masquerading-prudence/
