I got into a discussion with someone from the "older" generation about it, he was completely against it because of the media hype. I steered the conversation making comparisons to prohibition, infringement of rights and the fact that they don't ban cigarettes even though they know that they are deadly. Plus the fact that it is all about big money and government... then the light went on.

George Bush, Queen Elizabeth and Putin all die and go to Hades.
While there they notice a red phone and ask what the phone was for.
The Devil tells them that it is for calling back to Earth.

Putin asks if he can call Russia and talks for 5 minutes.
When he is finished the Devil informs him that the cost is 1 million dollars,
so Putin writes him a check.

Next Queen Elizabeth calls England and talks for 30 minutes.
When she is finished the Devil informs her that the cost is 6 million dollars,
so she writes the Devil a check.

Finally George Bush gets his turn and talks for 4 hours!
When he is finished the Devil informs him that the cost is 5 dollars.

When Putin hears this he goes ballistic and asks the Devil why Bush got to call the USA so cheaply.

The Devil smiles and replies "Since Obama took over, the country has gone to hell... so it was a local call."

My resolution is to TRY not to do the same stupid things I have done in 2013!

Sad that society has degenerated so much in recent years... with my up bringing I was taught that nothing was more important than your word... I still live by that and have taught my kids the same... too bad that it seem to be no longer the case with the majority of people these days.

Just fill it back up with fresh Pluid...then you won't notice the "old" Pluid taste.

Hi Brenda. Welcome to Vapor Talk! You've come to the right place to ask questions. More than likely you'll get more answers than you thought you wanted.

Vaping is a very personal thing. What's right and "perfect" for one person will be the worst for another. Only you will be able to judge what's "best" for you. A lot of it is trial and error, but that's also half the fun.

From what you wrote about the ENCORE e-cig, it's not a good one. You have to wait for the coils to cool down after four draws? Um...no. If all e-cigs were like that I'd still be smoking.

When I get going on one and have the time I can chain vape for an hour or more before getting the feeling that I've gotten too much nicotine and have to stop for a bit. My set-up would still go as long as it's got a charge -- and that's what it should do. I've been vaping for a little over a year and a half now so my arsenal has grown to embarrassing proportions (for me).

My go-to would be the Vision Spinner variable voltage battery. It's a great beginner's one, in my opinion, because it's easy, has just enough bells and whistles so you can customize it a bit and can grow into it, is a workhorse and should last you for a good long time. I would get two for each person so one can be used while the other is charging. Always have back ups. And back ups of back ups so you don't have to go without should something happen.

With the Spinner, get a charger and add a wall adapter for it. Never charge using the USB port on a laptop or computer for safety reasons. You get added protection with the wall adapter.

Add a Kanger Pro Tank mini or an Anyvape Davide mini to put on your battery and at least one 5-pack of extra coils in whatever ohm level you prefer (my preference is the 1.8 - 2.2 ohm) and you'll be set once you get your juices.

I'm sure others will be along soon to give you their recommendations. Good luck!

Personally, I don't know that there really is a "best" out there. It's more a matter of what's "best for YOU."

I know what you mean about the sales... but I do it for enjoyment and relaxation. Thing are picking up in the market though. My wife is a professional artist and her commissioned sales are booming this year (I think she has somewhere between 13-18 orders that she is working on right now) The gallery sales are non existent right now. The key seems to be to have a good online presence and taking custom orders... people are not window shopping this year, they have money to spend but will only spend it on something specific that they want.

As far as the battery... If you want longer lasting you need to upgrade to 1000mah - 1300mah to get long lasting. I think the Vision Spinner is the best bang for the $. They are variable voltage and a 1300mah will run you about $25.

I think you will find the recommendations as varied as the products!

I've been thinking about your burning problem.

One factor I haven't seen you mention is the juice vendor itself. I dont follow too closely but my impression is you stick to a few flavors and you also stick to 2 or 3 vendors.

Not all juices are created equal. The biggest variable is the flavoring itself which contains who knows what and varies widely between vendors.

You might have to look at trying different vendors to find juices that can take more power.

I think I've bought and vaped juice from somewhere around 30 - 40 different vendors and they do not all perform the same. Most juices I've tried cannot handle more than 3.7 v or so of power. I use the same tank and the same resistance coils. But there are a handful of juices that I have found that can take more. As much as 4.2 or 4.3. I have noticed that it's fairly consistant with the vendor.

Also, I dont vape tobacco flavors and it's possible that the tobacco flavoring could produce an early "burn". I'm just saying it's possible.

I have found, for me, the secret to happy vaping is ALL in the juice, not the gear. That's not a fact, of course.
