  1. Just ordered two 30 ml bottles of Five Pawns' Queenside from the VT store. Couldn't beat the price of $15 per bottle versus the usual $27 each. The VT store only had the 0 nic but that's fine, I have almost a full bottle of 12 mg so I can cut it with the 0 to get closer to the 3 mg I vape these days. Also ordered a 30 ml bottle of Marina Vape's Blueberry Milkshake Man from Madvapes. Never heard of anything like a blueberry milkshake with whipped cream on top but it sounded really good so...
  2. I've got an IPV mini and... I'm pretty sure the other one is an IPV mini version 2. @Earthling789, do you remember what you talked me into getting? They're both very good workhorses but I prefer mods with built in batteries, less hassle for me. In any case, those are fairly old (for vape gear). You might want to get something that has a few more bells and whistles (and more power) to drive the newer tanks and coils.
  3. If you'll give us a little more information on what you have and what you want, I'm sure we have members who know how to get you there.
  4. Whenever I've sent anything to Canada and it got stuck in customs -- it still wasn't held this long. @Christopher, can you chime in, please?
  5. Both the iStick 50W and the iPower 80W TC have very clicky buttons. You have to consciously push on the buttons to make it work, just a random twitch won't do it. While it's not a hard button, it's also not one that's very soft, you definitely know when you push it. Grandma's safe with it.
  6. Well, that would certainly take care of all the clutter...
  7. You'll probably get more recommendations than you'll know what to do with, it all depends on what works best for you. The Eleaf iPower 80W TC mod can be as complicated or as simple as you want it to be. It has a built in 5000 mAh battery so I only have to charge it once every 4 - 6 days depending on how heavily I'm vaping. https://www.vaportalk.com/us/product/eleaf-ipower-80w-tc-mod-silver/ The Vapor Talk store has them for $36 each and no shipping costs. If it were my grandmother, I'd set it at wattage mode, get the watts set up for the tank, coil resistance and juice she'll be using and then set the lock on it so it won't change the settings. After that, you only have the power button and the five clicks on/off function working. I love the iPower and use it a lot. My main go to mod before this was the Eleaf iStick 50W (4400 mAh), but some people have had issues with this one so it's not as trouble-free as the iPower. I still love my Vision Spinner 1600 mAh for on the go, it's a good workhorse! As for tanks... I'll let everyone else chime in.
  8. Here in rural Colorado, I've had Rocky Mountain Oysters. They were sliced thin, breaded, deep fried and served with a marinara sauce. I was surprised at how good they were.
  9. Did you try one?
  10. No, you haven't made me angry. I just said that I answered the question in a different post just in case I might leave out some of the information I wrote on this post. That way, if you refer to both posts, you might get more information. Does that make sense? Sorry if it came out snippy, that wasn't my intent.
  11. An RBA stands for Re-Buildable Atomizer. These tanks are for advanced users who build their own coils, also called RTA for Rebuildable Tank Atomizers. I've already given an answer on a different thread when you asked this question. If you vape mouth to lung instead of direct to lung, you'll want a tank that better works with your vaping style. I'm vaping on an Aspire Triton 2 with 1.8 ohm coils and they work extremely well for me because I go mouth to lung (draw the vapor into my mouth first and then inhale). Other members have given you very good recommendations as well with the Subtank (if you want to go sub ohm). Sub-ohm means that the resistance of your coil goes below 1.0 ohm like a 0.5 ohm or 0.2 ohm. The lower the number to the right of the decimal point, the hotter the vape. More often you'll want to increase the power being used from your mod so your charge won't last as long. For example, I vape with a 1.8 ohm coil. My preference is flavor, but I also want to see a satisfying amount of vapor but don't like hot or even warm vapor when I vape. My iStick 80W TC (Temperature Control) is set to work in wattage mode and is set at around 9.7W when the coil is new. As you know, when a coil gets older, the resistance increases so I also increase the wattage, but I only go up to around 10.2W With a sub-ohm coil, let's use a .02 ohm coil as an example, I've heard some members say they use this coil and have it up to 30W, 40W, 50W or more when in wattage mode. That will use up the charge in your battery faster than my 9.7W. There's nothing wrong with a Protank or Aerotank, I still use these sometimes. You'll need to buy one tank, try it out to see if you like if. If you don't, buy a different tank and try again until you find something that works the way you want, then buy lots for back ups.
  12. Don't sweat it, Edna. @Earthling789 used to do it all the time...
  13. Forgot to post this earlier, but @Edna kindly sent me a pretty green marbled drip tip with the screen inside to try. My excuse for not posting earlier is that I've been very busy giving this new tip a work out to see how I would like it compared to the spiral drip tip. Thanks so much, Edna! Oh, and I liked it so well that I've ordered more in different colors, lol.
  14. Just like we ask anyone else who asks for a rec, Chris... Do you want more flavor or more vapor? Do you want sub-ohm, temperature control, RBA... ? Inquiring minds wanna know.
  15. I've had a Coolfire IV for some time now but it's never done that. @Adversarious1 gives some good advice that I would echo. Either take it back or contact the manufacturer to help with trouble shooting the device.
  16. Aw, that's sweet, @Earthling789. I'm glad it made your day. *picks fuzz off Earthling* I loved your question to the governor and state representatives, and find it very ironic that they're trying to make everything "tobacco-free" when they work in Kentucky. *rolls eyes* My work is going to announce tomorrow how they're going to make the entire campus a "tobacco-free" property by 2017. They won't even allow smoking or vaping in your own private vehicle if it's parked in their parking lot. I'm going to be at the press conference but standing in the very back because I have a feeling that I won't want to be any closer to the front when the $hit starts flying.
  17. In a different article she says that she keeps extra batteries in a separate pocket of the purse. How much do you want to bet they weren't in a plastic case to keep other metal things from shorting it out?
  18. Here's a great article by a doctor who has done his homework. Nice to see positive news reporting for a change. https://capitalresearch.org/2016/09/the-e-cigarette-ban-a-win-for-liars-and-big-tobacco/
  19. And... here's another positive article for e-cigarettes: http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/312899.php
  20. That's strange. According to specs on the Subox nano, it has a 510 connection so your Protanks and Aerotanks should fit just fine like the Melo. Can you give me the link to where you bought your kit?
  21. With a brand new 1.8 ohm coil, I'm using it at around 9.7W, but once the coil starts to get older or gunked up (I use a dark, sweet juice that will gunk up coils faster), it can go as high as 10.2W, more commonly around 10W though. Even so, the coils last me a good 10 days to two weeks or more.
  22. Okay, the VT store is now showing the Triton 2 for $29.99 each. Order away!
  23. Okay, @Christopher is working to lower the price on the Aspire Triton 2 from $32.99 down to $29.99 right now. Give him a bit and he'll have the lower price showing soon. https://www.vaportalk.com/us/product/aspire-triton-v2/ The link that's below this sentence is for the 1.8 ohm kanthal coils that I love and use everyday. If you order in denominations of 5, they come in the 5-pack boxes. https://www.vaportalk.com/us/product/aspire-triton-coil-1pc/
  24. What @Earthling789 said above. Also, any tank that has a 510 connection should work fine with all the variable mods out there these days. Every tank mentioned in this post will work with just about every type of battery/mod out there with just a few exceptions but I doubt that the exceptions would be anything you'd buy.
  25. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
