  1. Thanks, Edna.
  2. Moved this thread to the batteries and chargers section.
  3. Thanks so much for the update, Cany. If you're still on Skype with Comp, please to be telling him to post his happy @$$ here himself at least for one post so we can see for ourselves that he's okay.
  4. You don't mention what tank and what resistance of coil you're using... that could make a difference in how harsh the vapor is. That said, the more PG in your juice, the harder the throat hit -- what makes the vapor seem harsh. Many of the newer tanks, especially the sub-ohm resistances of your coils, demands you go with a higher VG ratio in your juice as well as lowering your nicotine level. If you're using anything below 0.5 ohms, you'll probably want to go with a 3 mg nic or 6 mg nic at the very most or it will be very harsh. I also moved this post to the General Eliquid Discussion area.
  5. When I use my older Provari, which is seldom these days, I've never had any problems with using any of the Protanks or Aerotanks on them - I use 1.8 ohm single coils. Haven't tried the Protank 4 because I've found the one tank that I really like and I've been stuck on them since then. Don't know if you remember back when I used to use the HH.357 exclusively because of the vapor production and the flavor. Could never find a tank that could even come close... until Aspire put out the Triton. The first version was great for two tankfuls and then it crapped out on me and I couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried and how many times I pulled it apart. The Triton 2 (second version), fixed all those problems and I've been using these exclusively since. There are all kinds of different materials in coils, different resistances, etc. but, with my vaping style of mouth to lung and liking a little tighter draw, I stick with the kanthal 1.8 ohm coil. The batteries I use are the Eleaf iStick 50W for the most part. In wattage mode, I go with around 9.7W - 10.7W depending on my mood. At the lower 9.7W, even chain vaping, I only have to charge the thing once every four days or so because of the 4400 mAh capacity. Just recently got an iPower 80W TC with 5000 mAh capacity that I'm liking a lot. I don't use the temperature control, just in wattage, but that keeps me happy. I like simple.
  6. Most places that have the coils as singles... they come to you in 5-packs when you order the right amount. If you order 15 of them, you'll get three 5-packs of coils. Which coil do you want specifically? I can't tell from your post what you use other than you want iSub coils in TC. What resistance level and what material are you looking for? @Christopher can probably get you the coil at a good price if you tell him what you want.
  7. Sorry to hear about your job, Patricia. Does your Provari work with your Protanks/Aerotanks with the 1.8 ohm coil? They should. Maybe use the sub-ohm stuff with your iStick?
  8. Looking forward to seeing your review.
  9. And the more you participate, the more you learn. Then, when you see a new vaper post a question and you realize, "Hey! I can answer this and help him/her.... " that's what makes this forum so wonderful but the people in it more so.
  10. I've now got ten V2 Tritons with three in rotation with no problems at all. They're my go-to tanks that replaced my beloved HH.357 atomizers of many years. When the original came out, I loved the flavor it gave me through two tankfuls (if I recall correctly), then I couldn't get the damned thing to work right after that no matter what I did. After I became thoroughly frustrated, I sent it @Earthling789 so he could play with it.
  11. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  12. Where did you get this, Edna? Right now I use drip tips that are 3" long because I don't like the juice spitting into my mouth and it also cools the vapor (don't care for warm or hot vapor). I'd like to give this a shot, though.
  13. Wow. Um... no?
  14. LOL
  15. Thanks, Rix. Just picked up a few to try...
  16. The Whitney group really are who they say they are and the Vapor Talk store is extremely safe. @Christopher, our very own Godfather of the Vapor Talk forum is the one who keeps us and the store safe. Just so you know, although I'm an admin here, I don't have anything to do with the store part. Because of Chris being paranoid about safety and ensuring great customer service and quality products, the Vapor Talk store has my business. If they didn't, I'd be shopping anywhere else. That said, I'm a proud new owner of the iPower 80W. Got it in the mail fully charged on Saturday, August 20th. Been chain vaping this thing exclusively since then and only today (August 25), did it get low enough that I put it on the charger. I don't discharge my batteries all the way but it was pretty close. So far I'm really liking this one.
  17. They're all good, but if you go with the Triton, make sure it's the version 2 and not the first one. The 2 is more user-friendly and less hassle imo.
  18. Or you could do the whole -- silhouette thing for your face if you're that camera shy.
  19. To add to Christopher's answer, the ML = milliliter (a liquid measure)
  20. He might also learn to duck faster too!
  21. Doooo eeeeeet!
  22. Ohm = the resistance level of the coil (coil heats up to heat the juice into vapor / the lower the resistance (ohm number), the hotter it is and faster it heats up the eliquid). Watts/wattage and volts/voltage = how much power your battery is putting to heat up your coil. The higher the number here, the hotter it gets. If you don't want to make any drastic changes from what you're using now, I'd go with a variable voltage Vision Spinner or Evod pen style battery. It's exactly like what you're using now except the bottom can be turned so you can turn the power up or down. This will give you more control over how you vape. Some juices like fruits will like a lower, cooler temperature while other flavors like bakery (pies, cakes, etc.) usually like it a little hotter. Just a thought.
  23. Dark juices are sometimes a trade off. My all day vape is a dark, sweet coil killer but I wouldn't give it up. I've found that coils last a bit longer when I go with non-sub ohm resistances. These days I only use 1.8 ohm at 9.7W in an Aspire Triton 2 and the coils will last for nearly two weeks. Of course YMMV.
  24. What an impressive and thorough review! Now, if we can get you to do these in vids... I think you could give some of the "big names" on youtube a run for their money. Good job!
  25. If the liquid is too thick, you can always thin it out by adding a few drops of PG or some distilled water. Start with only a drop or two at a time so you don't thin it out too much all at once. And you only have to post once. I deleted the duplicate.
