Thank you! Funny how I didn't notice it on my posts in the regular forum...
-
Hey, Chris, when I hit "submit" on a post, it doesn't look like the post took until I hit the refresh button in my browser (most recent version of Firefox). At first, since it looked like it did when I was writing the post, I would hit submit again and wind up with a double post. When you get a chance, would you please take a look? I don't have this problem in any other area of the forum.

Wisdom Teeth Removal - How bad is it going to be?
Tam replied to Christopher's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
After my wisdom teeth were removed, there was some ache but nothing too awful... until I got a dry socket (probably from when I was taking a drag from a cigarette). That was by far the worst pain I've ever felt. You want to do everything you can to avoid a dry socket. Try not to suck on... anything, no straws, no drags on a tight vape (go with a very airy high air flow tank if you must vape after). You should be fine. The oral surgeon had to take a drill to mine to break them into four pieces. Then, because my wisdom teeth refused to cooperate, he had to be very unorthodox and straddled me on the chair in order to get the right angle in order to get them out. Apparently, my roots were shaped like fish hooks, which is why they wouldn't come out easily. This type of thing is common in Asian teeth but not so common in Euro-western Caucasians. Good luck~! -
It also underwent major revisions after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Thanks for the update! Hope the coil is salvageable.

Let's just say that we've derailed this post enough and get back to helping the poor OP with some kind of real answer/solution to the problem?
-
No, I didn't guess but... whatever.
-
No, I didn't know the gender of the OP so I used a generic pronoun is all. Does it really matter?
-
You asked how I knew the OP was a "he." When I went to grade school, I was taught that when you didn't know the specific gender identity of a person of which you are speaking, then you use the generic "he" as the pronoun to indicate that person. "He" can be a female, but without that specific knowledge at hand at that particular time, you just use "he" to indicate that person. These days, there are many different pronouns for people depending on their gender identity. Some people identify as male so you go with "he". Others who were born male but identify as female, you use the pronoun "she". There are many different identifiers out there now, one of which is "ze" to indicate a gender fluid or gender neutral pronoun that's neither "he" or "she."
-
You started it, I finished it.
-
It's common to use the pronoun "he" when you lack the details for a more specific pronoun since it's a singular being. If this were a case of it being more than one, then I'd use "they." Not so common, but I guess I could use "ze", but if you're not up on all the different variations of pronouns based on gender identity, it would be more confusing. I had to reread the post and title a couple of times before I got it. Don't feel bad.

He said it's a Protank 1

...what???

What resistance coil do you have in your melo right now? What battery/mod/power source are you using? These things will also give us the information we need to help you better. Edna suggested a drip tip with a screen in it. She sent me one to try and it's become my favorite. The screen helps to block the splatter of the eliquid very well.

When are you getting one?
-
And you have aroused my curiosity with this review... Will you update in a few days to let us know how it goes?

Nautilus are good, as are Triton 2, Kanger Aerotanks are still great workhorses...

Teen covering up cigarette smell blows up car
Tam replied to Edna's topic in The Vape Lounge - Off Topic Chat
I truly didn't know air freshener could do that. Wonder when the FDA will get around to regulating that to oblivion and back? -
@Christopher In this post you quoted Cany's post. Why is it not linking properly? See below where it says, "rel="external">

Well, at 10W and 1.8 ohm battery I only have to charge it once every 4 - 5 days (sometimes 6) so I would think, even at 30W, you'll get a day or three before needing to recharge.

If she doesn't want the smell to get out of her room like it will when the door opens, she might want to minimize the smell, not add to it and advertise that she's trying to hide something else.
-
Ugh. That just adds extra smells into the mix. If you're going to use anything, use an air neutralizer like Ozium that doesn't have much of a scent.

Well, you know... it was you who got me to buy an Eleaf iPower 80W TC (5000 mAh). The more I use it, the more I'm wishing all of my back up iStick 50W (4400 mAh) were the iPowers instead. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, I just prefer the iPower a bit more these days. They've both worked well for me and the charge lasts for days of even heavy chain vaping. As for tanks, the ones you've been using should be fine with a little care. Put a foam can cozy into your cup holder to put the mod into when you're not using it (don't leave it unattended though), so it doesn't get bumped around too much. Congrats on the new job!

I'm with Edna on this one. Being a landlord, I'd tell my renter... "My way or the highway." If you absolutely have to vape in the middle of the night, open your window, put the fan in a position so it blows OUT the window (blowing any vapor outside instead of the room), and vape that way. The smell from your juice will linger in your room if you vape with the window closed.

According to a different news source, she had the battery in "a separate pocket" of the purse, no plastic case or anything else to keep it from touching something metal that would short it out. A prime candidate for the Darwin awards. Plastic cases are so cheap to buy...
