Yeah, barely warm... At 2.8V, even using a 1.5 Ohm coil (lowest KPT2 factory coil resistance), that would equate to 5.2 Watts @ 1.9A... hardly enough to vaporize any ejuice, even if you held the button for a full 10-sec.

Yep, it has nothing to do with the length of the wick... sounds like your battery connection pin is pushed down (as Tam said) or the connection pin of the atomizer head is pushed in... or both... You can also check the center pin on your coil (head, atomizer, whatever you want to call it) and see if it is compressed against the rubber insulator. You can pull it out a TINY bit to make it reach the battery better, but be careful not to pull it too far. Either of these adjustments are MICRO adjustments... it doesn't take much.

Well i honestly dont understand how someone can think its a good idea to use something as volatile and a li-ion or li-min battery that isnt protected pulling as much as 20 to 30 ohms. The things are quite literally explosions waiting to happen if you pull too many amps. I could maybe understand if there was a massive price difference, but hell, $12 versus $8 (at a local BM shop at that) isnt going to break anyones bank.

Do you have a link or a picture of the battery? If you're posting a pic, please take one that shows inside the battery connection. This vid might also be of help. It might be that the KPT2 isn't making connection with the battery, which is why it won't work?

I have a medical background... and I can tell you... YES... hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! And, it is a good idea, now that you're off the analogs, to increase your vitamin intake... a good daily multi-vitamin, and it does not hurt to have extra C and B-complex too. These will help to stave off the food cravings which usually set in a few weeks after quitting smoking. You'll also want to increase your vitamin D intake... get out in the sunshine! 20-minuntes a day of sun gives your body more vitamin D than drinking a whole gallon of milk... In general, though... leg/foot cramps are a sign of Potassium deficiency. Eat a banana and have that extra couple glasses of water every day, and you'll see those cramps diminish or go completely away! Potassium in a pill form will work, but nothing beats the natural vitamin from a banana... both in quantity and the body's ability to absorb it!

They can have those. I have plenty of spare glass for my 2.5s. The ones I bought during the $8.99 "fire sale" are 2.0ml I measured them and thats what was advertised on those. I havent even looked at them since they went dual coil and if they are 1.6ml I will stick to my KPT 2s with Aero bases should I have a future need. The 12 I have should last a long time but I bet if I ever break one of the 2.0ml ones I will never find replacement glass. And what happened to the larger glass tubes coming out to accommodate larger volume of liquid?

Like Mtdobies, I love my Anyvape Davide minis but Anyvape changed them to use Aspire coils and not the KPT coils, they also made them .5 ml smaller. Don't know of anywhere you can get the Davide (full-sized) or the Davide minis that use the KPT coils anymore. So sad. They "fixed" something that wasn't broken. *sighs*

I would be very cautious about buying a Provari for $40 and expect it to be a real one. They don't lose their value to that extent.

There's a reason Pbusardo uses a Provari and hh357 when reviewing juice! Rock solid and will work at desired setting every single time you push the button.

Absolutely! if you have 10ml of 6mg... mix it with 10ml of 18mg of the same flavor... 1:1 ratio and you'll hit 12mg. I do this all the time with one of my favorite flavors. I prefer 18mg with most, but that one flavor is a bit harsh at 18, so I mix 1:1 with 18mg and 12mg to hit 15mg... and it tastes sooo much better that way.

keep in mind that "knockoff" doesn't always mean piece o junk. apparently I have a mt3 knockoff that was under-performing for me. then I got a bunch of other tanks and now the mt3 is hitting like a champ. I have a theory that it is aware it has competition and has stepped up it's game. Possibly, though, it has just been "broken in". I wish you luck in figuring out your tank issues. This is a good place to get quality suggestions.

Thinking of starting my first building project with a simple coil in a dripping atty. Haven't figured out which one is the easiest yet. watched a few youtube videos. The iGoW didn't look too bad. How long have you been building vaping gear? How did you start vaping (eGos or cigalikes)? how long after you started vaping did you get into building stuff? What was your first project? I'll take any recommendations for a good "starter" project.

I just have to read the countless testimonials to see that vaping has helped a lot of people feel healthier. The things people say about how much better they feel lead me to the conclusion that it's almost as good, if not as good, as quiting all together. Is vaping nicotine as bad as smoking regular cigarettes? Not even close, in my opinion. Can it cause problems for us in some cases? Definately! For instance, a pregnant, or nursing woman should not ingest nicotine in any way whatsoever. Nicotine itself has been proven to cause many harmful effects to an unborn fetus, such as low birth weight, pulmonary, vascular, and neurological problems, and it has been linked to sudden infant dealth syndrome. Any supplier of ecigarettes should make it clear to thier customers that vaping nicotine is NOT an acceptable alternative for pregnant and nursing mothers. Ok, So what about the rest of us. Apparently, PG has been said to contain nitrosamines, which have been linked to many types of gastro-intestinal cancers, but the jury is still out on how much of these nitrosamines can hurt us and how much is present in vaping. From what I understand, this substance is barely detectable in lab studies of PG and can be found in higher concentrations in some food we eat. When it comes to nicotine, each brand of analog is different, but generally speaking one analog can contain between 1-3mg of nicotine. However, through the process of smoking, a person only ingests about .05-.15mg per drag, depending on the depth of drag they tend to take. Most important to understand is that the half life of nicotine is very short; only about 40 minutes. As mass produced cigarettes became popular, tobacco companies realized that packaging cigarettes in packs of 20-25 was perfect for a days worth of smoking. Just enough nicotine to keep a guy coming back each day for a fresh pack. Did you know that if you took a drug test after only 1-2hrs of abstinence, the test would not be able to detect any nicotine in your body? A lethal dose of nicotine for an average adult man is about 60mg. But how do you get that much nicotine into your system by smoking or vaping? With it's short half life, a guy would have to do an awful lot of vaping in a very short amount of time to overdose on nicotine. And he would feel pretty terrible (nausea, vomitting, headaches, tachycardia, dyspnea, convulsions, and coma, before even getting to the death part). I mean, how many news reports do you hear about people being found dead from nicotine poisoning? I suppose if you drank a bottle of juice containing 36mg/ml you could do some serious damage, which is why it is extremely important to keep this stuff away from kids. Hell, even a small amount to a child is highly toxic, if not fatal. I certainly don't want to make people worried so much about the amount of nicotine that they may be consuming. That was never my point. Nicotine alone has NEVER been proven to cause cancer, period. In fact, nicotine is a lot like caffeine in terms of it's actual negative effects. It is however extremely addictive, as any smoker can tell you. As I stated in my original post, the only real concern I have about nicotine is when it comes to the eliquid. I think Chris understands full well what I mean. My point has never been to warn people about nicotine or to say that people need to eventually give up vaping. You can buy 0mg eliquids. And I'm not going to re-state what I said earlier about people who choose to continue vaping nicotine. My point is that I feel like vaping is a wonderful invention and is truly the best way to save millions of people from tobacco abuse, which kills thousands each year. I can't say that any other NTR has the ability to save as many lives as the ecigarette. But if we as consumers, along with our suppliers, act responsibly, and educate ourselves and others on the benifits and any dangers of vaping, we stand a much better chance of seeing this product around for a long time. I would hate for negative publicity and one or two serious incidents concerning eliquid ruin it for all those that depend on this product. If labeling it as an aide to stop smoking will keep it on the shelve, than so be it. If putting it in child-proof containers (reguardless of how irresponsible some parents can be) will keep it on the shelves, than so be it. If warning people about nicotine addiction is needed to keep it on the shelves, than so be it....
