    Pro Tank 2 Question

It must be sooper sekrit ohmage.

  4. Yeah, barely warm... At 2.8V, even using a 1.5 Ohm coil (lowest KPT2 factory coil resistance), that would equate to 5.2 Watts @ 1.9A... hardly enough to vaporize any ejuice, even if you held the button for a full 10-sec.

  5. Yep, it has nothing to do with the length of the wick... sounds like your battery connection pin is pushed down (as Tam said) or the connection pin of the atomizer head is pushed in... or both... You can also check the center pin on your coil (head, atomizer, whatever you want to call it) and see if it is compressed against the rubber insulator. You can pull it out a TINY bit to make it reach the battery better, but be careful not to pull it too far. Either of these adjustments are MICRO adjustments... it doesn't take much.

  12. Well i honestly dont understand how someone can think its a good idea to use something as volatile and a li-ion or li-min battery that isnt protected pulling as much as 20 to 30 ohms. The things are quite literally explosions waiting to happen if you pull too many amps. I could maybe understand if there was a massive price difference, but hell, $12 versus $8 (at a local BM shop at that) isnt going to break anyones bank.

  15. Welcome to Vapor Talk! And thank you for being safety conscious! There are a few of us here that can be pretty prickly about it. We have a hardware specific/rebuildables sub forum here, so feel free to post pics of your builds, ask questions, or give advice.

  21. So my cousin has been trying to quit the stinkies for a while, cold turkey, chantix etc.... Failed everytime..... He's attempted twice since I started vapeing about 3 mos ago. I finaly convinced him to get a cheap evod starter kit and some liquid. Well, this afternoon will be his first vape experience! I realy hope he can stick with it. Fingers crossed he can finaly kick analogs!

  22. Congrats on getting him started! I've got my original eGo 950mAh batteries and two fresh Ce4 cartomizers (and a couple juices I don't care for) all packaged up and ready to use... just in case one of my friends or family decide they want to give it a try. If it gets them off the analogs it will be money well gifted to them!

    Dual Coil Opinions

I honestly have not even tried one. I just do not see the reason to spend twice as much for coils that are going to use more liquid and there is nothing I am missing with my single coils. That combined with the fact that I do not try to stretch the life of a coil and change them probably more regularly than most makes it silly, imo, for me to even try one. I am at the point I am done trying stuff and know what I like.

    Obsessed?

Wow, this thread went way out in left field. As for the zombie, just use on of those Ehuge devices. You could use it to vape and also as a head smashing tool. And about obsession, I would go as far as to call it that, I would just say most vapors are enthusiastic about their hardwear.

    New vaper, and new here

You'd be surprised at what you're going to see here. People getting into vaping just so they can cloud chase, build coils with no idea what Ohm's Law is or how to apply it, using sub-standard materials to build coils (ie. bread ties, paper clips, etc.), cotton from Q-tips for wicks, using APVs to check their coil builds if they check them at all, no knowledge of batteries, the list goes on. We have a few people who come on with some knowledge or at least with a good dose of common sense and aren't afraid to use it, though. We like to see them and hope they stay to help guide other new vapers.

Agreed, and did my research on that one too. Picked up two Sony vtc4 30A batteries before i even attempted to vape anything below 1 ohm.

  33. Good luck with all that! SO got the mowing done after work tonight. I've got laundry and all kinds of cooking for the coming week to do in the next two days plus packing. Got another trip to Denver on Monday night, coming back Tuesday evening. Then, turn around and back up to Denver again on the 16th. Won't be home until late 18th or early 19th. Sometime this July or August I have a trip to Durango to make. So much traveling for me, I'm not used to it like you are.

  34. Thanks Sis! I'll try. Have weed eating and mowing scheduled for the morning. Then my cousins and God-children come over. Then change water-pump in the car. Luckily, drinks will be involved for me, for all of it! Lol

  44. They look great. I can't wait til I can start building stuff. I've moved from eGos to my first VV/VW. A Sigelei ZMAX. I've been told to go slow and learn everything I can along the way. I'm trying. Thinking of starting my first building project with a simple coil in a dripping atty. Haven't figured out which one is the easiest yet. watched a few youtube videos. The iGoW didn't look too bad. How long have you been building vaping gear? How did you start vaping (eGos or cigalikes)? how long after you started vaping did you get into building stuff? What was your first project? I'll take any recommendations for a good "starter" project.

I do mention Zombies, the FDA and the goverment seizing my weapons anytime I think it might help justify my purchases. All citizens should have the right to bear juice especially during the zombie apocalypse.

    Obsessed?

I made a little space on ONE shelf for a few e-juice bottles, spare tanks, box of coils... that was two months ago! Today, that whole shelf is just for e-juice, spare bottles, and mixing/measuring equipment! We won't discuss the OTHER TWO shelves I've saved a ton over analogs, but pretty sure I'm making up for it right now in "hobby accessories", lol (and want MORE!!)

  48. I make every bottle as it is ordered to the customers specific PG/VG ratio and NIC strength. I could not offer it as I do if I were bound to pre steeping the liquid. I would have to make it in advance and could not do the custom PG/VG or NIC strength.

    Why We Choose To Vape....

Stringdancer, that was one of the BEST, if not THE best posts Ive read since being a member here. I have read it twice now, and cant find one point I dont agree with. The governments justification for banning these products IS ridiculous, and is based on greed not need. There was a thing on Fox news today about a product coming out that helps parents "monitor" where theier teenage children are, to help them keep an eye on them. Right there is a problem. We DONT need products to do the parenting for us, we need PARENTS to take responsibility. My father knew where I was damn near all the time, and I knew the thundering hand of God was coming down if I stepped out of line. Not in an abusive way, in an authoritative way. The man LOVED me and i loved him back and I NEVER got what I didnt deserve. Im getting a little off track here, but it starts somewhere, and this is one area. The spare the rod mentality. The "It takes a village to raise a child" mentality. It doesnt take a village, it takes a parent. And we need to stop infringing on everyones rights in essence to make it easier for someone else to cope with parenthood. Flavors and bells and whistles dont make akid go astray. Non supervision does.
