TVR has a couple of sampler packages, as well as some pretty good deals. Plus, new customers get a free 15ml bottle of whatever you want, and they'll throw in a free 3ml bottle of something with every purchase. Kinda hard to go wrong with that. Though, it's really easy to go overboard with the juice order... http://www.thevaporroom.net

With your cartos, do you use a drip shield? That helps me with the leaking problem. You can get them from Empire Mods.

As for being out and about I use mostly T2 and my Vision Vivi Nova Mini. The CE4s are also on stand-by.

I agree with Jeff. My question is how can a paid reviewer be unbiased? It's kind of an oxymoron like "paid volunteer". Just sayin'.

On the surface, it sounds like an allergic reaction to either PG or VG. I don't know the ingredients in the juice you bought, but don't panic. From everything I've heard, people that are allergic to e-liquids are usually allergic to the propylene glycol in PG-based e-liquids, but can tolerate the vegetable glycerine in VG-based e-liquids with no problem. I've not heard of any cases where a vaper was allergic to both.

From the Electronic Cigarette Weekly article entitled "PG vs VG, what's right for you?":

"As with anything, some people may be allergic to either PG or VG. These allergies are typically very minor and are noticed by tightness or a tingling sensation on the jaw. A small percentage of people, around 2%, develop more serious irritations. If you find yourself having an allergic reaction to one, try the other."

EC Blend has a good selection of All Natural & Organic 100% VG and 100% VG Base juices at very reasonable prices (5 ml. sample bottles for $2 with coupon code) and fast shipping. Use coupon code: 10020 to receive 20% off any e-juice order.

Just for kicks, let's compare apples to bazookas:

Vision eGo Spinner 1300mAh Variable Voltage (3.3-4.8v) battery - $21.00 (No need for two batteries totaling 560mAh when you have well over twice that much battery life with one Spinner)
    510 USB Battery Charger - $2.99
    USB Wall Charger - $2.50
    Boge 510 Stainless Steel Cartomizers 2Ω or 3Ω (five pack) - $5.50
    Drip Tip - $1.99
    Shipping - $3.00

    Total: $36.98

E-liquid from $2.00 to $2.95 per 10 ml., depending on brand and quantity ordered. Dekang five-packs are usually $10.00.

After all this time, I still can't decide. I vape cartos at work and love 'em. At home, I'm currently liking my Artemas Locking Tank with a single-coil CE2 in it the best, but dripping runs a close second (or is it the other way around?)...I can't decide.

I love the Vision Spinner! While the eGo Twist is wonderful, one draw back is that it's next to impossible to see the numbers and what voltage you're vaping at. The Vision Spinner is just like the Twist but with easy to read numbers. My new 1300 Spinner is wonderful. It lasts for a loooooong time between charges.

You'll find we all have our favorite toys and we give similar yet different recommendations. I think all of the recs are pretty good for starting out. In the beginning it's good to get something that just "works" and is easy to use. Then, you'll start branching out and trying other things. The easiest for me would be a CE4 (also called a Vision Stardust), Vivi Nova/Vivi Nova Mini, or the new T3 or MT3. You just fill, wait a few minutes so the wicks can get soaked through with e-liquid and vape.

For throat hit on the juice you'll want either more nicotine and/or more PG. For more vapor you'll want the higher VG. I'd say go with a 50 PG/50 VG. The higher the nicotine you get, you'll also sacrifice a little on the flavor. If you smoke full flavor I'd suggest 18 or 24 mg of nic. If you smoked lights, 12 mg of nic. Ultra-lights, 6 mg. Just keep in mind that we all seem to vape more than we smoked so in order not to get a nicotine overdose, you'll want a lower nicotine juice for when you're chain vaping. A higher mg juice for when you're not.

Sweet pick up!!! Like others said, get more juice, maybe a clearomizer / vivi nova / carto tank, and you'll be in business. My biggest mistake in starting out was not leaving enough budget to get a few bottles in different strengths. For the first few days, I ended up making myself sick a number of times chain-vaping too high of a strength while jonesing for a smoke. Worse yet, I was stuck with the high-strength liquid until payday, then a few more days until my juice order arrived in the mail. Congrats, again, and good luck to you on your journey towards a new (and better) analog-free life!!!

You're right, of course, Case. You got me to remembering back, and I remember I didn't try it until a few months of vaping the Apple's, Bananas, and other great flavors. What a different out look I may have had if I had of tried that HFC tobacco first. I might be warning people to stay away... far away lol.

There are lots of great sample juice packs at various Vendors.
Altcig.com has some of the most affordable juices around, and, of course, we either hate em or adore em. I'm at this moment enjoying their Bob's Krave Kutter... it's nutty, dry, with caramel and vanilla. Like a Ry4/555 mix or something. Not too bad. Another one of theirs I really like is Caramel Cappuchino. I'm a cappy fan. I also love their Irish Cream. (strong flavor tho, watch out!). So, with that said, 3 out 5 tried of theirs so far, I feel confident enough to recommend them to others. The best part? They have crazy great prices and when they offer coupon discounts, it's even crazier nice. (sign up for their newsletter).

If you like them, you'll know which types of flavors might be for you. Beverage, fruit, dezert, and so forth, and will feel more confident shopping at the other more expensive stores. If you hate them, it's probably because they used too much flavoring. Shake the bottle good, take the cap off, and let it sit in a safe dark cubby hole for a week, putting the lid back on and shaking it every day. (it won't evaporate). That's called "steeping".
Hopefully you will enjoy enough, to learn your palette. If you hate it, it's okay. Just keep it in an igloo and revisit in 6 months. Our tastebuds change as they heal from smoking.

I've tried several cigarette-style e-cigs, and still use them from time to time, but only when I want a really light vape. If you want to try a PV that really puts out vapor/throat hit/flavor, I'd suggest the $21 Vision Spinner 1300mAh paired with a five-pack of Boge SR 3Ω cartomizers for $5.50. With the Spinner, you can dial up the voltage to increase power to the cartomizer, giving you a warmer, more flavorful vape. Yeah, it's a little longer and wider than an e-cig, but for the price and performance, it's really a great device.

    YMMV

PS - Drip tips make topping off cartos much easier.

Synther suggested a Vision clearomiser (Stardust or V2) and I agree but go to Sweet-Vapes.com to get it. They're a dollar cheaper and you can pick up e-liquid there too. Sweet-Vapes has yummy juice.

    http://www.sweet-vapes.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=39&vmcchk=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=84

For now I'd say go with something simple like the V2 or the Nano. I prefer the Nano for new users because it doesn't hold a lot of juice so there's no waste, it's easier to change flavors without having to change clearomizers. Just my two cents.
