Where I live a lot of people have CCW, it varies in Oregon depending on what county you live in, in the county I live in if you pass a background check, and know which end the bullet comes out of, and go to their class you can get a permit.
But most people don't bother with it because open carry is legal here. But its a different story in Portland, and other populated areas in the state where open carry is not legal. Its very common here to see a pickup with a rifle in a rack in the back window. Sometimes you even see a handgun on the dash, but not very often.

We sound a lot alike... I carry a subvod while on my bike too... and usually have a Cloupor mini+, IPV-mini, or 50W Kbox topped with a subtank mini or nano in the tank-bag as a spare/back-up.  I keep a UM20 in each vehicle, and have used them more than once, usually when we're travelling overnight or while on business trips.  I bought a couple of those silicone battery covers that go on a keychain (or jacket pocket) for safe transport, and they are great for a day-trip when you only have single-battery mods    Those eFest 3-battery zipper pouches are perfect size for carrying a battery, spare coil or two, and 10ml bottle of juice... and even a Cloupor mini along with any 18-19mm tank fit perfectly inside one.  They're really handy little pouches and fit well in a pocket or tank bag.

If you like the 75w Kbox You should give the 160w Kbox a try, If you are like me you will never get close to using 160w, but the dual battery sure helps on battery life. Because of the size, and weight its not a out and about mod but works great at home.

Pretty nondescript.  Nuttin fancy for sure.  But I likes it!  I really likes it!  Fits my hand perfectly.  Gentle squeeze and away we go.  This could very well become my everyday little buddy.  Just feels so good and the gas gauge has yet to come down off of full battery.  No vape counter, but I've been hitting it pretty regular.

In my opinion which isn't right most of the time, it has to do with coil, and airflow, airflow across the coil is very important. The tank itself is just something to hold the juice, of course chimney length probably is a factor too.
Whether the coil is horizontal or vertical could be a factor too.
Wicking could be a factor too, personally I think Rayon gives a better flavor than cotton, but that's just my opinion too.

How much flavor depends on the flavor, some flavors need a higher % of flavor, some need less.
My normal flavor percentage is 20%, but with a coffee flavor I only add 5%, and cinnamon I usually only add 3% at the most.
The PG/VG ratio depends on what you use it in, in my subtank minis I use 30PG/70VG in my dripper I use 20PG/80VG.

Yep.  I could easily go the next couple of years without having to buy any liquid, coils or batteries.  8 regulated mods, 4 mech mods, 13 tanks, 7 RDA's, 40 18650 batteries, 4 26650 batteries, plenty of coils for each of the tanks, 3000+ feet of wire in various gauges, enough Cotton Bacon that I think I should be considered a business partner, over a gallon (total) in store bought liquid and enough PG, VG, nic base and flavorings to make another 2+ gallons; and my stash pales in comparison to many.

I have a 850 Norton Commando, and the Amal carbs fit nicely, and clean up really well. When cleaning car parts I use a solvent instead of water, but no heat. I have also used it to clean Harley parts. With the SS tank it is easy to switch between solvent and water.

I love this thread.  I look at what I have already collected and think, I've gone insane.  I read this thread and I think, but I'm in good company!

With the right equipment coil building is quite easy, you will need.
1 Wire (kanthal, Nichrome, SS316, depending on your preference).
2 Coil winding tool (I use a Coil Master)
    3 Accurate ohm meter
    4 Cotton
    5 Lots of patience
Making your own coils isn't for everybody, there is a learning curve, After the initial investment you will save money. It has turned into a hobby for me, but I'm semi retired so I have spare time. The most important thing is safety, don't make coils that have too low of a resistance. A lot of people think the lower the resistance the bigger the cloud, which is true to a point, but if the resistance is too low the only cloud you will get is the cloud your battery makes when it blows up. Regulated mods will shut down if the resistance is too low, so it would be best to use a regulated mod, the mods you mentioned I believe are regulated.

FXRich got a reaction from Edna in American-made Sub-Ω Tanks?
The reason tanks aren't made in US is because of cost. The average wage for a CNC operator in US is about $20 per hour, don't know what the cost is in China, but I'm guessing about $2 per hour is probably top wage there. As far as price goes US made products can't compete with Chinese made stuff.
I have the machinery to produce a limited production sub ohm tank, but not the massive amount of coils that would be needed. Another reason I don't want to attempt to produce a tank is because of the FDA regs, and other problems with the regs from other government agencies.
A lot of people don't know what a employee actually costs, if someone gets $20 per hour, it costs the company $30 - $40 per hour, depending on the benefits, and state where located.
Bottom line is US manufacturers can't make a tank that competes with the Chinese without loosing money.

Wait until you get to 0mg nicotine, sweet juices get sweeter, and if you use a high VG mix there is no coughing. Nicotine has a pepper taste to it, I know this because when I get VG on my fingers I lick it off its very sweet, normally I would not do this with my VG nic base, but accidently did it once. tasted like a mouthful of black pepper. Last time I do that. That was about 1 drop of 100mg base, so only about 5mg nic, nowhere near a fatal dose, but sure tasted bad.

It probably varies a lot for people, but for me the hand to mouth habit is the hardest to break. I'm down to 2mg nic, and don't see a problem going to 0 nic, but still enjoy vaping, and will continue to vape even if I go to 0 nic.
I have read a few places that nicotine in small doses can be beneficial to brain health, so maybe I'll just stick to 2mg.

Having multiple tanks is great, but having multiple tanks that use the same coil is better.
I use 10 tanks in rotation, 6 subtank minis/toptank minis, and 4 subtank nanos, they can all use the same coil.
Whatever your choice in tanks are Crown tanks, or Smok, or eleaf, its a good thing to try to get tanks that all use the same coil, it just makes things easier.

The only thing that I put in my DIY juice that may contain chemicals is the flavoring, Most flavor makers list the ingredients of their flavors.
I use Flavor West mostly, and they have MSDS sheets on their products, also certificates of analysis which lists what is in the flavor.

It is a good mod, when I got it I put 2 new LG HG2 batteries in it and haven't taken them out. I just charge the batteries in the mod, a charge lasts me 2 to 3 days. The single battery mods I have I change the batteries in them and use a separate charger to charge them. I figure the best way to keep the 2 batteries married is to just leave them in the mod. I have 3 Kanger 75w TC mods and 2 Kanger50w mods so its not a issue to wait for the 120w to charge. The NiCr mode does work for Kanthal too, after I used a Kanger Clapton coil in power mode I tried it in NiCr mode, set it at 350f when I finally ran out of juice the cotton didn't burn.

It should be 304 SS, if that's the case it shouldn't be that hard, speaking as a machinist the 400 series SS can be pretty hard but 304 is fairly soft for a SS, I haven't had 304 work harden on me except when its been welded. Just to be curious what kind of racing did you do?
