Tam;  I am in total agreement with you ... Tobeco is on my do not purchase list. EHPRO and Infinite are my preferred clone.

If you like air flow, try the freak show  authentic is under 30 bucks i believe. It is an authentic but its not made in the USA, it is made in China. I have it and am very happy with it.  I will say i have been eyeing the Dark Horse myself.

Welcome and congrats on the year long cig free.
So much mis-information is being spread that it is as dangerous to us as cigarettes themselves.

I was leaving a B&M yesterday and noticed a cpl almost walk into the store but then turned around and left. I started a conversation with them in the parking lot and basically they got intimidated/turned off by the huge fog that was present. I do agree it was a bit ridiculous. I basically also went in and got a juice and then left. I would of loved to check out the display cases for any new arrivals but figured another time.

I understand B&Ms hire college kids; there friends hang out and try to out do each other with cloud banks and what so ever. I am sure it even generates some sales. Of course they have also offered good information when i ask a question or two and the sales kid didn't know. I am in total support of being able to vape in public, especially a vape store.

Perhaps a ceiling fan or air purifier wouldn't be such a bad idea to have operating in the store.I can only imagine that yesterday's experience is not a rare phenomenon.

P.S. The couple followed me 15 miles down the high way where i brought them to another B&M that is operated by a husband and wife team. Introduced them and left, hoping we have two new members to our community.

I look at it this way.... i had to buy the cigarettes, the addiction made me do it. My vape gear purchases are at my discretion and free will. Ok now i have been guilty of a few spontaneous purchases.... dam those shiny things in those pretty display counters.

Higher nicotine levels are necessary to get you over the cravings of analogs... 18mg or 24mg is not uncommon... some heavy smokers even require 30 or 36mg! The reason vaping is not working is probably two reasons... #1, the nicotine level is too low (equivalent to smoking about 5 ultra-lights half-way and snuffing them out), and #2, you have to break the cycle of lighting up by vaping through the cravings (as much as you can, anyway), and higher nicotine levels will help.

Is it the throat-hit or taste that is keeping you from going higher? If so, try another flavor, another brand, and definitely try a lower PG mixture ratio... 50/50 ratios are very low throat-hit, even with 18-24mg nicotine. If that is too much, try 30/70 ratio...

9 times out of 10, finding the right juice (pg/vg ratio, flavor, and nicotine level) is the key to success!

Here is where I got the white one: http://www.jwraps.com/ Their site shows that they do custom ones. I do not know about their other products, but the one I bought from them is not as high of quality as the Chinese black sheet I bought from amazon. It fit good, but not as thick or heavy duty.

    http://www.vaporskinz.com/ also shows custom design.

Along with my mini box mod obsession, I have developed a carbon fiber wrap obsession.

Here is my ipv3, Sigelei Mini 30 Watt, and ipv mini 2:

The black ones are from a roll of vinyl sheet used for cars. The white one is a J-wrap.

After vaping on and off for a couple years now and still smoking a few cigarettes this current attempt, I have now reached my first milestone. I've gone over 24 hours and not a single cigarette. This may finally be it for me and I'm pretty excited I think I finally found the right type of setup and vv/vw has been my game changer. Very happy right now and just wanted to share.

Dont forget one was able to actually get their arms in the engine compartment to reach parts. o rmaybe i was just skinny back then

I like the three parts on a mech mods and that one can change it up from time to time. I understand the theory of one solid piece is better than 2 pieces screwed together. It would be a shame if they comletely go away from the piece model., im ok with the lock ring going away and the recessed button taking over. even though locking ring is safer when you put it in your pocket.

Ya i was looking at the Kayfun and couldn't get the top back on it, i think sputnik 1 had fewer parts than the kayfun v4. It is a very impressive unit.

I always find amusing all this Sony battery love. Sony is just a bit player in worldwide sales and when it comes to 18650s has the absolute worst safety record. No company has had to recall more 18650s (10+M) or dispose of more tainted inventory (43M) than the troubled, has been Sony.

Good, safe batteries come from manufacturers with prime manufacturing facilities and impeccable QC. Farming out the 'recipe' to various unknown manufacturers don't cut it.

The first IMRs on the scene were made by MOLI, they could only be found in Milwaukee cordless tool packs. No direct sales. AW then jumped in with their AW IMR18650/1600mAh/24A continuous cell. Still the beast in it's class.

BTW the top tier cordless tool makers all use Samsung HD batteries now. Milwaukee, Bosch, and Hitachi. Dewalt uses both Samsung and Sanyo. Makita at one time did use Sony.
