  1. First and foremost for me is friendly staff, and imperative to me that the sales rep knows the ins and outs of vaping as a whole, I have learned a lot from hearing reps talking to other customers. I don't want to hear biased opinions on various tanks, mods, set ups. When I go in looking for "something" I don't want to be pushed to buy a certain mod/tank/set up just because it's the newest and latest thing. I understand trying to make a sale, but if I'm not interested in a 200w mod, stop with the pushing. The B&M I frequent has an awesome guy (he's the owner) and he will steer customers to the BEST set up for them. He makes recommendations but doesn't get pushy. As for products: I like to see a range of "stuff", from Ego batteries to the high end mods. I like to see a variety of simple Ego tanks to rebuildables, as well as the high end tanks/drippers. Having a variety of coils, and the supplies that go along with rebuildables. Nothing insures that I will never return to a shop quicker than stopping in for say: cotton bacon and asking for a particular wire than hearing: "Oh, I don't carry THAT. I hate that stuff". Tells me they are more interested in selling their favorites than what appeals to a variety of customers. And a variety of juice brands. Because juice/flavors/PG-VG ratios are as varied as the people who use them.
  2. Got my BACKUP Evic VTmini, my cotton bacon (can't do without bacon!), and the prettiest little jade stone drip tip in black and white! Looks so good on my black Avocado 24!!!
  3. Thanks FXRich. I didn't realize it had triacetin in it. Nope not using it. Sent from my XT1565 using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  4. At the risk of sounding like a dummy I have a question. I've heard about the additive 'Smooth'. I know the description on Wizard Lab's website says it helps "smooth out harsh flavors". Is this something I can use on, say, a cranberry flavor that is quite tart, to smooth some of the tartness down, rather than sweetening to the nth degree? I'm asking because, I want mix some cranberry flavors and all the cranberry juices I have purchased have a "bite" to them that make me cough my fool head off. Hubby noticed the same thing. Or is this something used for non-fruit flavors?
  5. I generally mix at 40PG/60VG or 30PG/70VG. I have found most flavors are good at 20-25%. Most of my mixes are satisfactory. Had a few duds but hey it's bound to happen!
  6. I got my jade tip from the VT store! Love it!
  7. When I stepped down to 6 mg I stayed there a long time before I dropped any further. Don't rush it, you'll know when the time is right to drop again. Good job on sticking with it!! Sent from my XT1565 using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  8. Hope you're feeling better Chris! Vaping, coffee, more coffee, and yes, yet another cup of the "starter fluid"! Almost time to get ready for shenanigans, oops, I mean work! And sincerely hoping my one co-worker isn't planning her usual tomfoolery of calling off because she doesn't like her assignment for the day!
  9. I had a tooth break off at the gum line once (Not a wisdom tooth, I never had any of those buggers in my jaws). After the oral surgeon removed the root he said I had one of those lovely fish hook roots. @Christopherto some degree, the post-op pain will depend on your pain tolerance. If you normally have a high tolerance, it probably won't be too bad. If you have a low tolerance, you might want some heavy duty meds! Or take FXRich's advice! But please, don't mix the two together!
  10. All my DIY stuff is stored in a toolbox. Neither the cats or the dog can open it or knock it over. We have no kids at home so that's not an issue. Equipment used is cleaned, dried and also stored in ziplock bags. I always use a paper towel on the counter to hold my stuff so if there are drips or spills they are easily cleaned up right away. Aging liquids are in the cupboard.
  11. I recently took the sub-ohm plunge myself. I use a Evic VT mini. I have Cubis tanks for stock coils and within the few weeks got into the rebuilding world with an Avocado 24. Kanger makes quality stuff. Enjoy!
  12. I have 2 Cubis tanks that I love. No leaks, Sub ohm (.5 or .6) or 1.0 ohm coils. I use them on my Evic VT mini and my Sigelei mini 30W. I've not tried the Cubis Pro. Just don't fall for the RBA head for the Cubis. It's so tiny that's it's nearly impossible to rebuild. So I don't!
  13. Just ordered a few drip tips and some Cotton Bacon from the VT store. @Christopher love the look of those wood drip tips and the jade ones!!

I like my Avocado 24. It's easy to build on and has top fill.
  15. Ordered an Avocado 24 online since none of our local shops carry them. (A vaping friend from work is happy to help me spend my money. He INSISTED I try his Avocado 24, WHOOSH, I'm hooked.) He's teaching me how to wind coils and rebuild. I'll get my cotton and wire locally.
  16. I like your review style! I know exactly what I'll get if I purchase something you've reviewed. Well done, Adversarious!
  17. Got a couple new batteries and my new red Cubis.
  18. The 5% Cup o' Joe in this mix is just about right for me. I haven't tried it in any other mixes though. I'm thinking of a french vanilla coffee. I love COFFEE!
  19. Coffee itself is a strong flavor. I wouldn't go much more if any on the percentage even as a stand alone flavor. The "regular" coffee flavor from TFA I thought was nasty. The cup o Joe was way better in my opinion. Sent from my XT1565 using The Vapor Talk mobile app
  20. I mix at 50/50, but use your favorite base. Cup o' Joe (CAP) 5%, Dragonfruit (TFA) 9%, Sweet Cream (CAP or TFA - depends on what I have) 6%, Sweetener (TFA) 2% I usually let this age a week or so. This is a "clone" I mixed when my local B&M stopped carrying this flavor. It is one of my favorites and is actually like the B&M's version!
  21. I'm a dragonfruit fan. I'm gonna try this when my Wizard Labs order gets here. I'll probably leave out the butter, just not my thing.
  22. If you can, give me the percentages on the double dark chocolate and P-butter. I'd like to try it!
  23. That sounds good. Will have to get some chocolate the next time I order flavorings! Thinking I might try a peanut butter one too. Make p-butter cup!
