  1. I just use TFA's regular sweetener. 3% mostly for the fruity mixes. I don't want a "candy" taste to my juices. If you prefer sweeter, try 5%.
  2. Start with base mix of your choice. (I use a 50/50 right now) All flavors are TFA Raspberry 6%: Blackberry 8%: Blueberry6%: Sweetener 3% Good after about 3 days, better in 6-7 days.
  3. Welcome to VT! Good group of folks here!
  4. I use 2 MVP 20W, my Sigelei Mini 30W box, and of course my new Evic VT2 mini! On the MVPs and Sig I generally use my ProTank 2's just because I can get by with less juice (at work) but have been putting my Cubis/Evic through it's paces at home (for the time being anyway).
  5. I use rice in a bowl for "speed steeping". I pour a bag of rice in a mixing bowl and heat it dry in the microwave for a minute (literally!) then stick my bottles in it and cover it with a towel. Let it sit until the rice is cool. Take out the bottles and give 'em a good shake. I find it cuts steep time about 2 days for each rice "bath". Got the idea from work! We use 'rice bags' for residents in our facility who have chronic pain. They work especially well for back and joint pain, and we use less pain medication.
  6. Dipping my toes into the sub ohm pool. Got an Evic VT2 mini and a Cubis tank. I didn't want to spend "too much" until I knew if sub-ohming was something I'd like or not. Guess I'll see in the next few weeks.
  7. Bebop: Shortly after I placed an order with S-V, I noticed on my "first" hacked account I had charges for $2, $9, then over $150 that I had no idea who the companies were let alone what was ordered. The 2nd (account) time, I had ordered, within 3 days, there were charges of close to $1000 on the account. The financial companies cancelled the cards and issued new ones. I won't take a chance on that happening again.
  8. I personally have stopped buying from them due to some security issues. I had 2 of my financial accounts hacked and the only connection I could find was I had used both of those to order from them. I don't know if it's an "inside job" (untrustworthy employees) or not, but I'm not taking any chances.
  9. Currently Fadora's Coffee your way -- medium cream and light sweetener. Almost finished a nautilus tank of this heavenly stuff off, then switching to "Bumbleberry" -- Black raspberry/blueberry/raspberry. I tend to switch flavors frequently during the day.
  10. I tried anything and everything to stop smoking over 30+ years. THE ONLY THING that got me off the stinkies was vaping. I had asthmatic bronchitis an average of 2x a winter when I smoked. I've been vaping since Feb. 2014 and HAVE NOT HAD BROHCHITIS or a cold since then! And I have allergies that used to be horrid, those symptoms are improved as well. VAPE! It works!
  11. We are having fun with this. Hubby is enjoying it too. Coming up with all kinds of combinations to try! The Champagne one is his!
  12. He has a Strawberry/Champagne juice we bought from one of our fave vendors so we decided to try making it with our own spin on it. Should be about ready to taste! He's chomping at the bit waiting on the aging process!
  13. @cany I'm hoping that Cherry/Almond one works. The Champagne one is actually my hubby's. He'll be the one deciding on that one! We vape different nic levels (his is twice-3x what mine is) so that one is all his!
  14. my DIY adventure. The first one I made was actually good! Raspberry/Blackberry/Blueberry. Have a couple more that are aging, so haven't tried them yet: Champagne/Strawberry/Raspberry and a Cherry/Almond with Sweet Cream.
  15. I just made a Raspberry/Blackberry/Blueberry one! I'm pleased with how it turned out. Also a Cherry/Almond with Sweet Cream. Aging at the present time. Champagne/Strawberry/Raspberry. Also aging...............
  16. I can find "flat" o-rings for a drip tip. I have some that fit diameter wise, but the they are too "fat" for the o-ring groove. Of course it's one of my favorite tips. The drip tip is one of these titanium tips. http://www.evape.us/titanium-tips/.
  17. I'm thinking it may be a dog thing to hang their heads over the edge of cushions! My Pug (Beau) did that, and so does my Chiweenie. Eathling, Love Bo's coloring. What a cutie!
  18. We are having our Thanksgiving dinner today since I HAD to work yesterday. Turkey breast is in the oven and the sides are ready to go. Did the pies this morning: pumpkin and apple-cranberry.
  19. This was in the newsletter I get from SmartVapes. CDC Study Disproves Anti-Vaping ClaimsAn October 2015 CDC study sheds light on vaping habits and shows that fears about vaping as a tobacco gateway for non-smokers and minors are unfounded. Less than 4% of "never smokers" have tried electronic cigarettes and fewer still are using the devices daily. The most populous vaping group are current and recent smokers. 55% of recent smokers have tried electronic cigarettes, while 22% of recent former smokers are currently using ecigarettes. The national health survey is the first of its kind. Finally an authoritative US government body has compiled evidence that vaping is not popular with non-smokers and is used by a large group of people who have recently quit smoking altogether. The report found that approximately 12% of people had ever tried electronic cigarettes. While anti-vaping groups warn about the dangers of electronic cigarettes, the truth is that adults are turning to ecigs as a harm reduction and a nicotine replacement therapy. It is no coincidence that more than half of those who recently quit smoking are also users of electronic cigarettes. Vapers will not be surprised to hear this news. Anecdotal evidence of the helpful potential for the technology has been known for years. Vapers report success in staying away from combustible tobacco with vape starter kits, mods, and ejuice. Now armed with credible evidence from the CDC, ecig advocates will be able to demonstrate why electronic cigarettes should be exempt from limiting regulation and taxation. The CDC study also shows that vaping is catching on in a big way. If 3.7% of the US population is vaping every day or some days, then that is almost 12 million people. While some officials are still calling for more regulation of the devices, perhaps the recent data will help educate legislators on the utility of this potentially life-saving technology.
  20. I have a Sigeli mini 30w. I love it for the small size. One 18650 battery and I'm good to go. It can be charged with a USB, that I only use when I'm in a pinch.
  21. Been able to afford a new (er) vehicle. I've been able to make double or triple car payments every month, so I should have it paid off in about 1 1/2 years instead of 4 years. Yeah, I like that feeling!
