fishguy1123 got a reaction from tazl37 in like or hate and why?
I've heard about the lack of warning/info included with the atlantis tank and agree the safety aspect should be included whith the product.
However, I take issue with your discription of "lazy noobs". Everyone of us were noobs at some point. We choose our path as we learn what works for us. Unfortuinately if we call ppl lazy because they are new, they likely won't ask questions to learn the important facts that go along with a product like this. Our goal should be focused on education for all. Promoteing that for the new members/vapers. I don't meen to rant, just would hate to see a guest/lurker to feel like they can't ask a question for fear of being labled.

fishguy1123 got a reaction from GeorgeF in Can someone point me in the direction for an upgrade?
I'd suggest you check out Pbusardos youtube video on the mvp 2. It will give you all the specs and show you how they work. I have one and love it! Sometimes seeing things in action is better then reading it.

fishguy1123 reacted to Mirage in So what size would you pick?
Jake, the first thing you need to do is don't worry what others think might look good.
You get what you like to look at and what will work for you.
That is all that really matters bud...

fishguy1123 got a reaction from blueyedshewolf in question about nicotine levels and juice
No worries. 1st question, the nic level seems normal based on your old usage, only thing that might change the nic level IMO is how much you can use your ecig to get the nic fix you need. If it's a 5-10 min break and then back to work, it can vary. If you can vape mostly when you want, and still don't get what you need, then you could up the nic.
2nd question, although I can't tell you what Kalamazoo vapers liquid uses in the liquids, my first juice that got me off analogs was from them.
3rd question, PG=flavor and added throat hit, VG= vapor and a slightly sweet taste. 50/50 is great for most tanks.
The way I see it, use it as much as you need.

Welcome to VT! Although this can be tough to get a grasp on at first, it doesn't have to be scary. We've all been in your shoes. If you have a question, feel free to ask. Many times what seems like a problem is easy to deal with once you understand it. Congrats on your first big step!

Definitely just joking around about the car analogy since I have ran an auto group for 10 years...just ironic lol.

I'll say this, it's widely known that the istick uses an outdated but still effective means of performing. I would hope that anyone wanting to purchase a new device, especially if they're not familiar with the technology would do some basic research on what they're buying.
Bcart, even though you keep a new car under warranty, don't you look into more than the shiny paint and chrome wheels to decide if it actually fits your needs?

fishguy1123 got a reaction from GeorgeF in Questions about dripping...
Welcome, so the basics go something like this....
With an RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) you will need to wrap your own coils and install and wick (place cotton typicaly) through and around them in some way to allow the liquid to absorb. You will need something to check the resistance (Ohms) of the coils you build are, as well as an understanding of the limits of the device/batteries you use to run it. Simple Ohms calculators are free and easy on android phones.
Without knowing what device you plan on useing in the future, or your liquid spec (nic, pg/vg etc..) I can only say that while useing RDA's it's common to reduce the nic level to 3 or 6mg even if you use 12+ in tanks.
Others will likely chime in with more info, but please be sure all your questions are answered in some way before you start on that path. It's more about education than it is difficult. Good luck to you!

I have to give Sweet-Vapes a huge thank you for an immediate turn around on my charger. They received it on sat and shipped the replacement on the same day. I received it today and it seems to be good out of the box.

fishguy1123 reacted to Hd4always in Stuffy nose
I had done a yahoo search on the above title and after registering I lost the initial Vape community.
So, here goes: most of the vaped were complaining about stuffy or runny nose issues. My initial search was to find if vaping would help a runny nose:
I haven't had any adverse effects from vaping as others have. Although new, I was a two pack a day cig smoker and I find I am vaping constantly. This isn't an issue - I just made a spot to put it down for a bit to take a break. I just wondered if it would help my cat that has cronic upper respiratory disease if smelling the second hand vapor might hel him breath better. He doesn't mind my vaping. If I smoke a real cig, he leaves the room. After this lengthy comment I wrote do you think it might help him breath better? It hasn't hurt me at all as it has others...

fishguy1123 reacted to Mr Smith in Little or no taste when vaping
rubbing alcohol or everclear. everclear would probably work better as it has a very high alcohol content and no flavor.
the idea is to soak the coil and tank in alcohol for a couple hours which will help break up and remove juice residue buildup on the wicks and coils and gets rid of any lingering bad flavors that might have contaminated your tank/wick. then remove the tank and coils from the alcohol and rinse under warm water and let them air dry on the counter.
once dry, reassemble juice it up and give it a try. If the coil is still good, it should perform and taste like new again.
