We should have a thread dedicated to battery safety, so if any members have anything to add, please do not hesitate.

Battery safety is of the utmost importance when it comes to mechanical mods. Pushing your batteries limits will eventually result in battery failure. Failure could be battery life depletion, leakage, and the worst results being venting and/or explosion.

Please put safety first!

I get accused of being obsessed as well. I have about 13 mods and about 10 tanks (RDA/RBA, etc), 20 various batteries of different sizes, 1 roll of each guage of wire, etc. Im not even allowed to go to the Vape Shops anymore if my wife isn't with me, cause I will easily drop $200 on stuff my wife says I don't need...

I'm a rookie and just rebuilt a kanger protank 3 coil with organic cotton and 30 gauge wire at 1.5 ohms. I am stoked to have any kind of success and it works very well and tastes great. I also picked up a free hcigar sentinel clone with a grand vapor clone rda and I want to try a dual coil build next as I also had success with a single coil on it at .9 ohms.

Three and a half weeks without a stencher and going strong! (wife too) YaY ☺

So I finally received mine, and after only 2 days this is what I have to say about this clone from FT.... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

It looks good, but that is about it. Barely 24 hours into having this, the mini USB port broke free from the epoxy that was holding it in, their is something either faulty with the wiring connections or the board itself, it will randomly detect my atomizer as like 4 or 5 ohms which will adjust the voltage output based on my wattage setting to something super high, resulting in a super burnt taste, thats when it actually wants to detect the atomizer at all.

I think for a mod like this, the only route to go would be authentic. (that's something I NEVER say, so that should tell you something about this clone)

Not really much advice here, as everyone's taste is different but I would try a dual double twisted 30g or a 28g twisted with 32g at about a .7 ohm build and use a little less cotton in your rda (meaning dont pack the deck full of cotton) then close your airholes a little. In my opinion and experience with vaping and rda's, the more air I have; the less flavor I have. (more air equals bigger clouds, less flavor; less air equals more flavor, less cloud)

I don't think it really matter which end you blow as long as you get the juice out. Lol.

Nash, it appears that you have mentioned this in several different posts. You seem to be pushing it hard.

I usually.just stick with my standard dual or quad coils. I was in the mood to play with wire though and haven't done a Dragon in a few months. Still not a huge fan of the Dragon coil.

its just normally ones who want to get into RDA's just for clouds are the ones who don't take the time to learn the safety side. like I said just my opinion.

I also drip in various ratios.... (wow that sounds like I need to go to the hospital!.. lol) But seriously though, its a personal preference really. Some flavors I find to be better at a higher VG or PG, and some I like at 50/50.

It has been said though, that flavors tend to be more flavorful with a higher PG content (I think it was PG anyways), I couldn't tell you the validity of that though as im not a scientist/chemist and haven't done any testing.

I am actually vaping a home made recipe I call Dragon's Custard.... nothing too special though really, just a vanilla custard with a hint of peanut butter.

You guys crack me up! If one isn't put together, I will sit down and piece together a quick guide. I probably wont be able to get anything completed till this weekend when I have time though. (4 day weekend for me) I will probably start it in the VIP area so we can all look at it and have input into it, in the event I leave something out, that way we can also get a mod to edit if need be before it goes public to all viewers.
