I went to a Vape Meet on Saturday and felt like a total noob when the battery in my SVD died and I was like oh I got this pulled out the spare took 4 drags then saw the red light.... NOOOOOOO! Moral of this story your back up is no good as a back up if you forget to charge it!... lol. :$

Hmmm.... Looks like I have something new to try on my RDA. I normally use 30g should I lower the gauge for twisting?

What does twisting the wire do? I am New to building coils so I'm alwaus looking to learn and try something new.

I been eye balling a RBA on DV I want to get, just waiting for a little extra cash so I can justify spending money. It's not expensive but when you live paycheck to paycheck every penny matters.

My SVD won't fire sub ohm either. I tried last night.... Lol

I on occasion go through stages where nothing seems to want to work right or taste right. A few things I have learned is change flavors through out the day, when using a KPT or evod tank with a new coil I blow out for the duration of the 10 sec safety shut off, this burns off that new coil burnt taste. Sometimes I have to do it twice. Always rinse out the tank when switching flavors unless you are intentionally mixing flavors. Use a VV device and play with the voltage a little starting from super low and bump it up till you get a good burn with out burning the coil out. I know most if not all of this has been mentioned already I'm sure, but that's what I do. I also finally got into direct dripping, and that is my fail safe, it always tastes awesome!

I'm at 6mg now, I actually have a few bottles of 0mg now that I use as a flavor additive. If I go straight 0mg I still won't quit vaping, I enjoy the flavors and the hobby of it too much I think.

Didn't really buy anything again... But... Went to a Vape Meet and brought home 30 more bottles of juice.....

I'm envious of rixter's collection!... lol. He has 2 of the mods I really want to get.. The zmax and the KTS+.

Welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy the wide variety that vaping will offer. There is plenty of things to keep you occupied, especially if you get into building your own coils.

I just did one for my kpt2 just to see if I could, even though I mainly use my RDA. It actually came out pretty good. Had to mess with the coil a bit, I guess it was touching the side so it was reading at 0.6ohm then I slid the coil over and pushed it down a little and its now reading as 2.3ohms. The draw it a little tighter then with the Kanger coils, but that is good cause I thought the Kanger wick/coil was too airy.

I have noticed this with some of mine as well. I just assumed it was from the heating. I usually would just dump the juice if it was only a little left in the tank.

I have this issue when I go into local shops, I end up having to show the employees how to prime a carto, or how to use the mods, one lady even had me fill her tank. It makes my wife and kids laugh, they say I should just get a job at one on the weekends.

Not to derail this thread any further.... BUT..... Lol... I consider this as mire of a hobby now as well, changing out mods and tanks and building my wicks is what is keeping me interested in it. Otherwise I am afraid I would get bored and succumb to analogs.
