Ok for all you dual coil pro builders out there... Got a question for you... I got a Helio today (dual coil rba) I have never rebuilt a dual coil before, and my first build so far has been very disappointing. I'm using 28g kanthal with 8 wraps on a micro coil (1/16th diameter I believe) anyways I seem to just be getting a burnt cotton taste and very little cloud. If I let it go dry trying to get the coil broken in i can see one coil starting to glow and the other is not. Now to back up a bit.. While building I built both coils the same, put them on and pulsed them with no wick and had even glow on both coils. I'm not sure if I need to build the coils differently since it's dual coil or what. On my single coils I build them the same... 28g 8 wraps but I use a bigger diameter.... Ahh crap I bet that's what it is... I need to increase the diameter to raise the ohms a bit. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The ones doing the "studies" are paid off by big tobacco to put the e cig market on blast, and to instil fear into any potential new customer for ecigs and its an attempt to keep their stinkie customer base from switching sides.

Without knowing what device and tank set up you are running... I would say start off by bumping the nic level a little and maybe try different flavors as well. I know with me certain flavors i like, but because they hit the throat different i find myself puffing away more then usual. I use to be a Camel Menthol smoker as well, and when i started vaping i was all into the menthol juices, now i cant stand the menthol flavors, i tend to use Five Pawns Queenside and/or Space Jams Omega flavors pretty consistently, and i dont get the vapors tounge and need to switch flavors as often.

LOL.... You could beat someone to death with that thing... or just use it to change the channel on your tv if you lose the remote!

Ordered a Helio rebuildable and a Launcher Mech mod

I buy a lot from FastTech. I am one of those guys that dont care too much about having the latest name brand though. A clone is just fine for me, as long as it works. I actually just purchased the Launcher Mech Mod and a Helio Rebuildable the other day, should have them today in my mailbox.

Today I'm using my Kamry K100, with a direct drip cartomizer. For some reason I have more or less abandoned my iTaste SVD, and my KTS+

I change about every other month. One month will be menthol mixed with any juice, then the next is all fruity juices, then tobacco, then back to menthol... Lol

yeah they carry authentic items. As stated above they carry the SVD, and Vamo. They have others I just can't think of them off the top of my head.

I have no issue buying knock offs cause I am a cheap skate, but I don't like stores thinking everyone who walk in their store is ignorant. I know more about their products then they do 90% of the time. hell, I have even had to show the clerks how to use some of the stuff a few times... lol

I am the same way. we have a b&m here in town that buys all their stuff from FastTech, then they try and sell it for 5 times the price. (example Poldaic mod is like $37 or $47 or something on FT, they have it in their store for $286) They even told me they don't know when most of their inventory gets in because it comes from overseas, I replied with "yeah I have that issue with FastTech too!" and walked out.

I wonder if your pulling too slow. I know with my kpt2 if I take a slow drag I sometimes get a burnt dry taste but if I take a faster longer draw its ok. I have to use different techniques for different tanks, so sometimes I forget and will draw slow on the kpt2, but when I notice it and change my technique it's all good.

I like using either the icr 18350 it came with or I use my imr 18500. I have my RSST rebuildable on the k100 right now, it works pretty good. I also like my KPT2 on it as well, get really good flavor on it.

I didn't think of going to the Auto parts store. we also have a freight harbor or what ever it's called in Tacoma somewhere.

I found one on Amazon for like $6, but not sure if I want to buy it if it doesn't zero out, that way I'm not trying to do any math... lol
