If your looking into variable voltage and variable wattage the Sigelei Zmax is pretty awesome and will not break the bank. I dont have the Innokin MVP V2 but from what I read its a solid unit that can do everything that the Zmax can.

If your possibly looking to get into mechanical mods, possibly with a "Kick" (small device that fits into some mechanical mods that makes it into a variable wattage device) and want to toy with eventually rebuilding attomizers, then you might turn towards a clone of some type if you dont want to break the bank. Many clone mods are in the $30-$75 range. Mechanical mod clones that come to mind is the EHPro Electrical Angel mod (great review and one that I use daily), or the new Nemesis clone (I just ordered from Fastech), or the KTS telescopic storm, or even possibly something like the Silver Bullet which is a very solid and time proven mod that takes a kick. Please do keep in mind that there are a couple accessories that you would need if you go this route (batteries and a charger).

Good luck. I'm sure you will find something that suits your needs. Never feel shy to ask questions because everyone here does an awesome job at helping. Take that from someone that still a newb and learning every day.

edit: If you do get into a mechanical mod please read up on how to use them properly.

Or if your local B&M has the same products for a comparable price. I don't mind spending a buck or two more on something, after you figure in the shipping cost, it's actually cheaper sometimes.

I have to stick up for my local B&M. They are not all bad. I happily pay $30 for 3-15ml bottles of the most vapable stuff I've ever encountered. The gear is over priced but is it unfair? Not really, IMO. Sure, I buy mostly on line but getting out and helping a B&M that's worthy is good too.

After my $100 "buy in" I thought I was good to go for a while... Nope! Got a nice order on the way and have been working up a great story to keep me out of the dog house.
Already have my eye on some other goodies that I can't live without...

Well you do not go VV and VW you choose which you like. The thing I like about VW is once I set it, it automatically adjusts the voltage by reading the resistance to keep the same vape all the time.

As far as higher ohm coils, that is up to you. I personally cannot stand the taste at above 4-4.2v even with higher ohm coils. It is all subject to individual tastes. Thing is, the lower ohm coils will burn out faster than higher ohm coils at higher voltage levels. There is a chart somewhere on the forum, I tried to find it but cant right now. It shows suggested voltage settings by resistance and the lever where you hit the "burning out a coil danger zone". I mainly vape sweeter flavors now like Unicorn Blood, Endless Summer, Gummy Blood, OrangeZilla, Dragons Tear etc... Above 3.7v or above 6.5w at 1.8ohms I get an immediate burned taste. But that's me, and everyone is different. When I used Vision Spinners exclusively, and still to at times, I never went above 3.8v except occasionally with a mint or tobacco flavor. I rarely vape either of those anymore. I still like the mints but burned myself out on them. They will be back in the rotation eventually though.

If anyone knows where the chart is and wants to post the link I think it would help. Keep in mind the settings on the chart are pretty conservative.

Yeah, every online shop I've purchased from, though they will have a recommended ratio, they do allow you to pick your own ratio. And the brick and mortar stores that mix their own can mix up the ratio you request on site.

There is no such thing as a silly question. There are, however, lots of silly answers.

Yes, steeping means letting it sit. You'll want a dark, cool place for this. I usually take the cap off so it can "breathe" while it's steeping. That's just a personal choice. If you do leave the cap off make sure it's somewhere a child or pet can't get to it. I usually let most of my juices steep for a few days, vape, let it sit a few days more, vape to test the flavor. Some juices/flavors never get better no matter how much time you give them. Others only continue to improve the longer you let it sit. One flavor I have, I make sure to order more about three weeks before I need it. One week for shipping and such and the rest for steeping. YMMV.

The one I settled on was a Sigeli Zmax, V3 (telescoping) (just under $80 at Discount Vapers). Both VV and VW options on there, the bells and whistles I want, and it's easy enough to use - except, well, I don't know about other vendors, when I got mine from Discount Vapers (and I've heard this about people getting it from other places too), there is no instruction manual - just the box. The instructions are pretty much on the item description on how to go through the different functions. Hubby has the Provari mini, but that is above your $100 limit. And it doesn't have VW.

I've discovered I like VW a bit better, since when you change coils, or change tanks, you don't have go adjusting for the resistance of the new coil, it's just automatically figured. If you do variable voltage, you'll want to (at least I did) adjust your voltage in a certain range depending on the resistance so you don't burn your juice, or worse, and make sure you aren't too cool. Setting the power eliminates the need for that, generally.

We'll guys and gals it's time to get me a good mod and tank. I haven't really done much research on them lol. So many out there to chose from vv or vw. So I'm not sure which to get. I'm looking to spend around 100 for the mod for now and 100 for the tank as we'll. I'll go a little more if I have to. Please leave me links to all of these so I can chose from and give honest reviews about them as we'll.

    Hi all,

I am still very new to all of this. But loving this so far.

I just picked up a Kanger Pro Tank II. Pretty excited. I had read that glass tanks are the way to go for best flavor and no leaching.

I found a LVS (local vape shop) close to my work. I probably paid a few extra bucks but did not have to wait for it to ship. So I'm okay with that. They had a pretty good selection of juice. All made in the USA.

I may be different than others here... but I actually don't think starting with a cheap/disposable/gas station e-cig is a smart choice. Afterall, the first experience the person is likely going to have is an unpleasant one. Why not increase the odds of a 'great first vape' by using our knowledge of these products and start them off with something better/decent?? I mean really... a 'bottom coil tank', or something similar, and a decent battery to pair with it... doesn't really cost all that much these days. If I were just starting... I would be thrilled if the very first thing I vaped was a 'BCC clearo' and an 'eGo-type' battery! Not that the little 'cig-a-like' batts don't have their place... but it may just not be the very 'best' thing to offer to someone that we are really actually trying to impress with this thing we call 'electronic cigarettes and vaping'. Just my .02 cents on it.

My issue with cinnamon bun wasn't the tank, but after a while with cinnamon flavors, even if it's just powerdery cinnamon flavoring type like with cinnamon roll or cinnamon bun, after a few hours, you start losing the ability to taste it for even a couple of days sometimes. It's the nature of cinnamon flavoring. You either lose the ability to taste the cinnamon a bit in what I call the powdered cinnamon flavors after a few hours. With the more Inferno/Red Hot/whatever your brand calls that type of flavor (which you HAVE to have glass for), in my experience, one of two things happen (or both) - it either dulls your ability to taste anything else, or for quite a while after you've stopped vaping that flavor, everything you vape will still taste like Inferno or whatever it was.

Another word of warning. Even with the cinnamon roll type flavors, and with citrus as well, keep a good sized bottle of vodka on hand (I tried using a "mini-bar" sized bottle that I got at a gas station for this, but it didn't get the job done, so I ended up buying a larger bottle from the grocery store that worked much better, even though I used the same amount). The mini-bar sized one, which, heck, I can't remember the brand, but it wasn't one I recognized, after eight hours of soaking, I thought the flavor of both the Inferno and the Citrus juice (on an evod tank rather than a KPT 2) was gone, but after sitting for two days with another flavor juice in them, I went to take a hit off the KPT 2, and essentially got hit with a mouthful of a mix of Inferno and Irish Cream that doesn't taste like Irish Cream. With the Citrus tank (in an evod, yes, I know you aren't supposed to use citrus in an plastic tank), I had put some Banana Cream into the tank, and didn't get back to it for a couple days, and when I did I got a vape full of Banana Cream and Jungle Juice.

My perception of you is that you're... well, kind of condescending and a know-it-all. If the staff in my local shop acted the way you come across via text on the board, they'd be fired.

In fact, the management at my local shop has fired staff that acted the way you come across in your posts in this thread.

Now, I realize that I'm new around these boards, but you've lost my business based on a few forum posts. I happen to know some facts, but I come here for education about facts I don't know, information about things I don't know, and suppliers because I cannot drive for medical reasons.

Did you know that stopping online sales hurts people who are well past legal age who cannot drive and who may not be able to physically get to a local shop?

Little things like that should be of concern to you as a supplier in the age of internet commerce.

Text doesn't necessarily convey things properly, but dude, I find it hard to believe than anyone can post so many consecutive message that convey them in such a negative light unless the impression is indeed accurate.

Its not that, I am proud of what I do for a living. That's why I have successfully done it almost 20 years lol. Its no secret there is no love lost between me and the B&Ms I have had experiences with and the tone and demeanor in this thread is EXACTLY why. It couldn't be more identical. Think about it, here is a B&M owner-worker whatever agreeing with the FDA that certain flavors should be banned. Of course we all should know by now if you open that door, the end result will be nothing but tobacco flavors, over-regulation and excessive taxation, and these so called experts from the B&Ms are so zealous to stamp out the online sources they do not even realize the dangers of inviting such regulations. The 18 and older only should absolutely be a law, but banning online sales and or flavors is the epitome of ridiculousness.

The belittling is in the tone of the posts in this thread and others and I could not hold my lip any more. This thread has done one thing, based on the PMs I have received, and that is ensure someone with that kind of "know it all" attitude and condescending tone will not get much business around here, not with so many longstanding reputable sources to buy liquids and hardware from.

Well I hope you stay in business, but I would work on the borderline insulting condescending tone you seem to espouse in a lot of your posts. Mods can delete this if they want, but it has bothered me a while and this is where I say something. I wont respond to you anymore, but will exit by saying I would not do business with you given your tone on here alone.

Oh and I am not a "used car dealer" as you condescendingly said, I am General Manager for a large GM Automotive group and with the highest customer satisfaction survey scores in my state, something an "average Joe" wouldn't know. I do know that using the underlying sarcastic tones that you use in your posts on here are something I would fire someone for if they were to talk to potential customers the way you have on here.

I am not sure if you own the business or work there, but if everyone in E-Cloud Vapes has the same type of skills in talking to others that you do, I would bet in a years time there is a "for lease" sign in front of your building.

And no reply is necessary, as I will not see it since I put you on my ignore list like I should have a while ago.

You mean they emptied out ketchup bottles? Or they got empty ketchup bottles? I know they can be purchased and while if it was empty to start with... That's not a terrible idea. Makes it's pretty easy to transfer Vg and pg while still using a larger bottle for wholesale mixes. If it was a filled bottle that had been washed out/ sterilized I don't see why that's an issue either. If it was just a bottle they rinsed... Ok I'll give you that. Can you give any insight into that?

My e-vic arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it. The readout is saying my coil is like a 2.7 ohm on them. I need to rebuild to get them to the perfect 2. Just playing with it last night before bed and it is amazing. I have a davide glassomizer on the top of it and it vapes ok around 3.7 volts. I have only ever used push button ego knockoffs before. This probably opens up a entire new realm for me.
