So I head into the bathroom, armed with the iPhone and my PV (don't judge me - with 3 kids it's the only peaceful place in the house lol). As I'm settling into "the position" with the PV in my mouth and the phone in hand... Crash!

There I am, in all my glory... the Kanger drip tip still in my teeth, a broken tank laying in its own juice on the tile floor, and my pants around my ankles.

Thankfully, I'm good at thinking outside the box. After knocking over my eGo batteries just by looking too hard at them I got some toothbrush holders that hold them and work nicely. The next thing was to organize my ever growing collection of e-liquids. At first they kinda piled up on my desk. Then, I started putting them into little plastic boxes.

With the way it was I couldn't tell what flavors they were until I pulled them out and looked. That wasn't working so well for me. So, I started looking around and found these nifty nail polish racks and it came in this week. My SO put it up on the wall for me today and...



These are nearly all of the bottles I have with the exception of maybe one or five. Yes, I'm either going to need another one or I need to get busy and vape some of these bottles empty. I'm thinking the latter option is preferable.

The appeal is that I hadn't had one to play with lol! My KPT2's aren't going anywhere.

Just as the subject line says, I just finished wrapping my very first coil. Did a 5/4 wrap with NiChrome wire (no clue about the gauge other than to say it's very fine). Put it onto my Vision Eternity RDA after priming the wick with a little juice, added around 30 drops, waited a bit and...nothing.

Put it aside thinking the wick needed more time to soak up the juice. Pick it up a little while later and I get this tiny little wisp of vapor and a little gurgling.

How disappointing. I must've done something wrong. *sighs*

My eye just happened to catch the bottom of the Spinner and...wait for it...it's at 3.3 volts. Turn the volts up to 4.3 and guess what? I'm now surrounded in lovely clouds of vapor and the flavor! OMG.

Next time I think I'll try using a needle when I wrap the coil. This time I just pinched the wick and went for it. So much for being exact, huh? Still, I'm thrilled with my first attempt.

This one should get an award - vaping to cows tongue in like 12 posts.......and no assist from Spydre, lol

I've learned alot on this forum just in the short time I've been a member. You actually made me comfortable that the gear I was using was up to par for what I'm trying to achieve. Everyone else on here is great as well. I really appreciate everybodys help on this forum. Even if we haven't corresponded on here I've probably read something you've posted and learned from you. Wish I would have found vapor talk sooner. Your all awesome, thanks!

Welcome. You've definitely come to the right place...collectively, we know everything.

I no longer look at vaping as a way to quit smoking like at first, but rather a much cheaper and safer alternative. Maybe explaining it that way makes sense. I think using the term "I quit smoking" is a little zealous for what we do. To me, quitting smoking equates to breaking a nicotine addiction and I am not doing that. I am however using what I feel is the safest delivery method possible and feel great, am off a lot of the meds I used to take daily, and couldn't be happier.

I may try a drop to 18 or 16mg once my liquids get low, just to see if I can, but I in no way see it as something I "need" to do since there are so few inherent dangers from nicotine alone. It is not all that different from caffeine and I bet they are drinking sodas or coffee in the morning. Both are just mild stimulants.

How about something like "it's a very long process, and it takes time, and how what a marvelous success you are and my, don't I smell nice, and isnt it wonderful how food tastes incredible and gee it feels great to be alive. Etc"

And then glance over at the spitoon and crinkle your nose a little and shake your head.

They'll get the message

What did ya have one, maybe two? give yourself a break, why didn't you vape? Better nic that way, I actually enjoy vaping near smokers, it's like watching them stab themselves ! Don't fret, pat yourself on the back for what you have already accomplished, and get back in the wagon ! Maybe this time, wear your seatbelt!
