Aquatroy reacted to bcartervol98 in How many ml / day are you vaping?
After switching to 1.8ohm coils mostly I now use 3-4ml a day as opposed to the 2-3 when I used 2.2s and 2.5s.

Aquatroy reacted to Rixter in RBA vs RDA...Which Do You Prefer?
The reason I ask this question is because I have a UD AGI, which is convertible between the two formats, but I hesitate changing to RDA mode if the Genesis-style offers a superior vape experience.
Genesis mode vs dripping mode.

Aquatroy got a reaction from Tam in Complete Noobie.
It's not perfect, but it works, 5 months tommrow, after smoking for 25 years solid, 30 years total. My life has totally changed for the good. I can breathe, taste, smell, run, swim. I don't stink, my house doesn't stink, my truck doesn't stink, my clothes don't stink. I have an extra 50 bucks in my pocket every week, even after buying all I need and more vaping supplies. The first two weeks are still a *****, there is other addictive material I mean CRAP in those stinkies, and you have to get past that. Add a ton of water to your daily intake, and it's a breeze. After trying every other quitting drug, tool, program you can think of, and I tried them all..this one worked...Spend no more than a carton of analogs and give it a shot, what do you have to lose??? Oh ya, your life is all.........GOOD LUCK!!!!

Aquatroy got a reaction from sonofzell in Got my buddy wanting to start vaping. Opinions on what to buy?
Read B Carter's slog blog on starter kits...it's spot on...no need to spend on a vamo till he's on board..

Aquatroy reacted to Tam in Tricks of the trade?
I ship mine back to the original manufacturer who then rebuilds it and sends it back for a very reasonable fee.

LOL this sounds like either a Mod or a STD

Aquatroy reacted to Tam in I just wrapped my very first coil!
I'm just tickled that it worked! And go you! on your first coil.

Aquatroy reacted to Tam in Please help me get clouds like this!
Agreed. I'm still working on getting more knowledge just to rebuild my own coils. Lol. Safe is a good look for me.

Aquatroy reacted to kerk in Different batteries
IMO, not really. Unless 2x dollars equates to 3x battery life....what's the diff? And as long as I have a backup, I can avoid having a reaction like your avatar.

If your married you already own half of the Pluid. I could never resist giving mine anything she wants, and what's mine, is hers. Look for a new one...lol...

Aquatroy reacted to Thesheepdog in Beginning to wonder what Mod I want-Suggestions?
Yep its a tuff little silver bullet like device. Im finding tho it's price is almost the same as those with VV/VW. If I could have several mods sitting around that might be one of them. I have the iTaste VV, and a couple of stick batteries 9 (ego) so this doesnt seem like what I need at this time. I think I need 16500 series batteries as I vape like a 1880's locomotive moving west on new track!

Aquatroy reacted to IMEDICx90 in If I already
i would say Tesla over SVD if thats the choices your going with Brain. Nothing against telescoping mods... but if its short of changing tubes on an APV.... there is some serious potential that you could overtighten things and cause dents in battery tops (wont fire because of the board in the mod), IDK.... im just hesitant with using telescoping mods in an APV. In a mechanical, it will short the battery and you will know.... it gets hot really fast. LOL...
nah but seriously i have used both at a local shop and the tesla just feels sturdier. The SVD feels kinda wobbly and not very well built. Just my .02 though.

"oh I don't think I'll ever own a APV or mod" still eating them words B?
Why the thing weighs 5 pounds, and is full of parts just dying to fall apart, too many screws for me, and the adjustment ring will be the first thing to break,
If you want solid construction , Tesla one pc unit
Lots of bells, Evic, and they easy to learn Tam, if I can use it, anyone can.

Ouch!
Would suggest a physical inspection prior to purchase, there has been three on Denver CL in the last couple weeks. And ya it looks and feels that heavy....
One would guess you drive a BIG truck?

How 'bout I buy one, abuse it for a while, and then let you know how it works out for me? I'll tell myself that I'm doing it for the good of vapers everywhere.
*EDIT*
As far as the weight and bulkiness, this thing was designed to look like the M134 machine gun...
..it's probably not the best choice for a girly-man. LOL
