What do you mean by "day" flavors?
-
Another way to "speed steep" your juice that's a little easier is to take a bottle of hot water (not boiling), and put your bottle of juice into it. Put the hot water into a Pyrex bowl and set it on the counter. This way, you really can't over cook/steep the juice because the water will cool on its own. If you need to, you can dump the cooled water and refill with hot water and repeat as necessary.

A new take on reverse psychology. Love it!

If you're looking for "more mature", you might be in the wrong place. Isn't that like a four-letter word? We're pretty low-key, laid back, like to have fun and laugh at ourselves and at each other around here. It's all in good fun. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

good sites for liquid where you can pick the ratio

If you're thinking of ordering from Fadora, wait just a bit. We're ironing out a few wrinkles there... -
good sites for liquid where you can pick the ratio
Tam replied to Leighanne's topic in New Vapers Forum
EC Blends, Vape Dudes, Mt. Baker Vaper, Fadora Vapor by our own @Compenstine... Many places will allow you to set your own preferred ratio of PG/VG... although this will probably change with the FDA's regulations. -
Understanding the FDA August 8th, 2016 Regulations

At a quick glance I was wondering why you posted a picture of generic Nestle's Quick powder mix. That's just wrong in so many ways. -
Something else to try if you have some coffee grounds -- take several deep whiffs of the grounds. That's supposed to "cleanse the palate" as well. If you're fairly new to vaping and just getting off cigarettes, this could also be just a by-product of getting the toxins out of your system. Your body will change through a month to two month period. Try new flavors that you might not usually try. In one order of e-liquids I found a free sample of a juice flavored like Almond Joy. I wasn't sure about it but gave it a try. It was... okay but not something I'd buy on a regular basis. A few weeks later I tried it again. This flavor has been my all day vape for over two years now. I've lost count of how many 125 ml bottles I've bought. You never know. Be daring and try something out of your comfort zone, you might be pleasantly surprised.

Brushing my tongue helps me sometimes. Might try that?

Where to find true stainless kanger coils?
Tam replied to Foofightervapegirl's topic in General Vaping Discussion
What tank is the coil for? There are so many -- even within the Kanger brand -- that we need a specific tank name in order to be able to steer you in the right direction. There are quite a few vendors out there that sell genuine Kanger coils, the Vapor Talk store is one of them. The VT store will state up front if it's not genuine. -
Understanding the FDA August 8th, 2016 Regulations

Thanks for the explanation in simple English, Chris. Much appreciated! I'm at a total loss for words about what I feel for the FDA right now. -
Good luck, I hope you get the mods you ordered -- correctly and on time with no problems.
-
If you take a look at the coil, at the base, it should give you some information about what kind of material that coil was made with. Without knowing more, we can't help...
-
You're absolutely right, Cany. I stand corrected.
-
Heh. I've only heard of them referred to as "squonk boxes." Bottom feeders have always been those with the coil on the bottom of the tank instead of the top. Guess I'm one of the "new vaper generation," huh?
-
Earthling, you're ever the optimist. I hope you do see them before Christmas.
-
Kanger subtank, subtank mini, Aspire Triton, Atlantis, Crown II, Lemo, TFV8... take your pick, and there are so many, many more. They all have the coils on the bottom (aka "bottom feeder").

For me, I could vape almost immediately after leaving the dentist's office following a root canal. The lips being numb didn't help but...
-
These days it's nearly impossible not to find bottom feeders. All coils are on the bottom of the tanks anymore. Take your pick.

If you're getting the pen-style, you'll definitely want at least two to start. Don't forget to get the proper charger for it! Don't skimp on the charger. Getting the wrong one can cause catastrophic damage.

Gotta love those back ups!
-
Most new vapers think we're nuts about having LOTS of back ups so they only get two or some other small amount of stuff... until something happens and they need more back ups than they have. Then, they have to wait on the mail and/or payday to get more. After that, we hear, "I thought you guys were kidding about getting serious about the back ups..." We've seen it time and time again. Don't you let yourself get into the same situation. Personally, I once went through four batteries, three coils and two tanks while away from home for just a few hours. I was so glad to have had barely enough back ups with me.

https://www.vapeshop.com/eleaf-istick-50w-battery/ I've bought from them before with very good results. Just a few tips on the iStick 50W that you want to make sure to follow for safety's sake: Take the tank OFF before charging. Clean the area where the tank connects both on the tank itself as well as the iStick. Keeping the connection area clean to make sure full contact is made is a good idea with any tank/battery combination. Turn off the battery before charging. NEVER leave a charging battery unattended -- this means you don't let it charge while you're sleeping or going out of the house. These are lithium batteries and you don't want to take any chances. Follow these steps and you shouldn't have any problems. I never have and I'm rotating through six or seven of them. You might also want to buy two so one can be charging while using the other. Since the battery capacity is so large, it takes a good five hours or more to recharge. You don't want to be without for that long. We stress buying back ups and back ups of back ups. You can never have too many.

Oh... I don't know about "wise" although I have been called a wise@$$ at times. The lovely thing about the Triton 2 is that you can use it for either mouth to lung (where you first draw the vapor into your mouth before inhaling) or direct lung (where we draw the vapor directly into your lungs). Most smokers go mouth to lung (aka MtL) at first to mimic their smoking habit. Bebop is also giving you some great advice about starting with lower nicotine levels with these types of set ups. I, too, was a pack to two pack a day Marlboro Light smoker (38 years). With the set ups we had when I first started vaping, there wasn't a whole lot of choices and the equipment had me using 24 mg of nicotine. In today's tanks, with the more advanced coils, 12 mg of nicotine is easily as "strong" as 24 was back in the day. You may want to get a variety of different nic levels in your juices. More nic in the morning and use less nic juice at night a few hours before bed so you can ramp down to get some sleep. Be sure to drink lots of water! Vaping dehydrates you so you'll want to double or triple your water intake. Don't drink more coffee, tea, juice, or soda... stick with plain water. It also helps to flush all the carcinogens and toxins in your body from smoking cigarettes.
