Sounds like a good time to go see the doctor!

A "drip tip" is just a mouth piece. In earlier days of vaping, we used what's called an "atomizer", which is a cylinder with a coil at the bottom. You dripped a few drops of e-liquid directly onto the heating coil, placed a drip tip on the top and vaped. You could also vape it without a drip tip by putting your mouth on the atomizer but ran the risk of burning your lips after a while. You can also direct drip into an RDA, a rebuildable dripping atomizer. These, you have to build your own coil for (you can now buy premade coils to put into an RDA), you put the wick into the coil, saturate with e-liquid and vape. Your iSub tank is just that: a tank. It's not an RDA and you can't drip with it. My advice to you is to learn. Read lots of threads on this forum, watch Youtube videos about coil building, ask lots of questions like the one you have here... and then listen to the replies and learn from them. If you put a few drops down the tube? All you're going to get is gurgling when you take a hit, and possibly some liquid that will seep onto your center pin of your battery that will need to be cleaned off and dried. Don't do it.

That's putting the cart before the horse. The deeming regulations have been put aside for the time being, but there will be other things coming down the pike. Get involved with CASAA, they're a wonderful organization dedicated to the cause of vaping. Don't give up just yet, there are many people working to make vaping better... become one of them.

With most of us vapers who have been at it awhile, we just keep multiple tanks with a different flavor in each one. Otherwise, you could take out the current coil, rinse well in hot (not boiling) water, soak in vodka or Everclear overnight, let sit out to air dry then reuse. similar flavors should be okay with the same coil.

Even though this vid is for the center pin on an eGo battery, the same principle applies to your mod.

Like Rich said, there are juices out there with caffeine and nicotine combined but I've never known anyone who vaped it. Personally, when I want a little bit of a pick-me-up, I go with a loose leaf Sencha green tea -- that way I not only get the caffeine, but also lots of good antioxidants as well. Since we don't know what vaporizing and inhaling caffeine can do to our lungs, I'd rather not take the chance. Baby steps are wonderful! We like it when people take the time to learn (safely) and move slowly so they really get to understand what it is that they're using. Better not to wind up as the next news story about someone setting themselves on fire.

Good questions interspersed with some solid knowledge! Yes, you can mix your juice flavors. I would suggest you do it in a separate bottle so that you don't wind up with juice that's unvapable. Also, you'll be able to add one of the flavors a little at a time. You're right that high PG juices will give you a harsher throat hit. If you're not sub-ohming (using sub-ohm coils), then the 18 mg nic should be a good starting point for you while you get back off the cigarettes. If you like the flavor, you can just purchase a lower mg juice in the same flavor (or 0 nic) and mix your original juice lower. You can also get a higher VG in the same flavor to lower the PG level. Just a thought. As for your EVOD, it's a great back up, especially for portability. I still have several Vision Spinners that I use just for those reasons even after vaping for over four years.

I agree with Rich and don't think they'll work. If the coil and tank were made by the same vendor, there might be a chance but otherwise? The tank's manufacturer would want you to spend money with them for coils and not a competitor.

Thanks for the heads up, Rich. Too bad they're out of the 1.8 ohm coils.

@Compenstine gives customers the best in customer service of any vendor I've ever used. His communication to make sure every order is to the customer's liking is amazing! I'm a big fan.

I'll add to what Bebop said with a "you need to invest in a dedicated ohm meter" to tell you what resistance you're building your coils on. Otherwise, you could wind up being a story on the news about how an e-cigarette blew up/blew your face off. Always stay safe.

They weren't just for the cigalikes, they could also be put onto an eGo style pen battery with a decorative "drip shield" to cover them.

In the "old" days, some cartomizers were also referred to as "cartridges" but, again, without come type of context...
-
Can you give me a link to this post or discussion you saw so we can have some context?

To add to Bebop's questions: What mod are you using? If it's a mod with removable battery, what brand and details of this battery or batteries?

FDA Deeming Regulation - What we know so far
Tam replied to Christopher's topic in General Vaping Discussion
Never did any business with them before but this clinches it that they'll never get any of my business. Goodness knows it's bad enough I put my credit card number out there, they don't need my DL too. SMH -
FDA Regulations and the consumer. What should we do?
Tam replied to Robinox's topic in General Vaping Discussion
No need to go into full panic mode just yet, although it never hurts to be well-stocked. Even if the worst comes to pass, the government can't/won't put it into action right that minute. We'll have some time.- 12 replies

No problem, I just didn't want you to wonder where your other post went.

You only have to post once. Deleted duplicate post.

Try uploading the picture to a site like Photobucket and then put in a direct link?

I think you scared her off, Comp. Stop scowling so much next time.
