  1. @Earthling789 Aaawwww, so CUTE! And the baby ain't bad either. *rim strike* You two look perfect together!
  2. The coil should be fine for a short time, but if you're worried about it, put it into a small container filled with the eliquid you used with it. Do not put the coil into the fresh bottle of eliquid, however, so it doesn't contaminate the original eliquid.
  3. Yes, you can swap out the coils with no problems --- however, I would use the same flavor of eliquid with each coil or you could wind up with a combination you won't like. You can use a different flavor with the 1.8 ohm coil, just keep coils and flavor together is all.
  4. According to this reviewer, one of the cons to this device is that there is no battery life indicator. She says that the LED light just blinks a bunch of times when you need to recharge. For such a basic unit, it seems pretty good. If you want more information from your mod, you may want to look at a different mod altogether.
  5. Congrats! I wanna see a pic of the new Papaw holding the little precious...
  6. No problem, just wanted to let you know I moved this so you didn't go looking and wondering where it went.
  7. Ha! Do we get to call you Grandpa Earthling now? Congrats on your first grandchild. I hope the delivery is easy and the new addition is healthy and LOUD.
  8. Moved this to the temperature control area. =D Feel free to post away! That's what the forum is here for, and if we can give you some good advice along the way... well, it's win/win for everyone.
  9. You could go up to 30PG/70VG and still be fine with the wicking. Personally, I'm liking the 40/60 mix for a good balance of flavor and vapor. Yes, I remember most of the people I help spend their money. Glad the iPower worked for you, it's a good mod to start with. I'm still using mine but then I rotate four - six of them at a time....
  10. Moving to "General Vaping Discussion" area.
  11. You didn't mention how long you vape the one juice without switching. You're right, it could very well be the dreaded "vaper's tongue". I find when that happens to me and I want to continue to vape the same juice, brushing the tongue, drinking more water, and not vaping for a little while fixes the issue. If I want to vape right away, I just go sniff some coffee grounds (just inhale the aroma of the ground coffee, don't sniff it into your nose) and that also helps to "cleanse the palate." Of course, PG is the flavor carrier so more PG in the juice might help. Likewise, with max VG, your wick might not be able to get sufficiently soaked with the juice before you vape again. If you want, you can put a couple or three or four drops of distilled water right into your tank to thin it out.
  12. This is great! And then you'd need a t-shirt for ladies that says, "Yeah, right." With a set of rolling eyeballs on it.
  13. On the one you went down to 80W, did you start that one at 100W or 150W? If you did and burnt the wick, lowering to 80W wouldn't do you any good at that point. I'd start with a new coil, clean out your tank, fill it with new juice, lower your wattage down to 40W and wait a few minutes for your wick to prime. Then, take a couple of hits without power first. Then take a couple of draws with power. If that's not working for you, turn it up just a little. Repeat until you get a hit that has the flavor and vapor you like, if you get a slight burnt taste, then back it down a few. You may need to break in your coil for a little while until it really starts producing vapor and flavor, but that shouldn't take too long.
  14. If I were you I'd return it as defective and get a new battery. Also, I deleted the duplicate post. You only need to post something once and then wait for a reply.
  15. It can be "Dude-ette" to my friends.
  16. Wow. Thanks for your advice, especially when you know nothing about me and what's going on in my life that takes up my time.
  17. I stay far away from gaming... if I didn't, I wouldn't get any sleep at all!
  18. You've been very busy! I like the various grains in the wood you used.
  19. From my experience, the juices with any type of creamy flavor takes longer to come out to full maturity. The fruit juices are usually good as soon as you finish making them up. Bakery flavors are better after a little time but not as much as the creamy flavors. Like @FXRich recommended, there are ways to "speed steep" juices by adding a little heat. Without having to buy anything more, you can just put very hot water (not boiling, just as hot as will come out of your tap), into a bowl and put the bottle of juice into it. Let sit until water turns cool. Shake and repeat a couple of times. That will speed steep a juice as well.
  20. Moving topic to "General Vaping Discussion" area.
  21. Very easy to follow instructions and great organizers!
  22. Typically, any coil that comes with a tank is less than top quality. Be very careful about purchasing hardware from eBay -- we hear a lot of stories about knock offs being sold as name brands. Personally, I only buy from trusted vendors but YMMV.
