Good for you that you're going back to vaping instead of staying with the cigarettes.
-
Yep. Like @Squid said, I'd get new batteries too. Anytime I have any trouble at all with a battery, it's just safer to start with new.
-
But you can't say that it hasn't been fun! :D
-
May need to try that trick sometime. See? Old dog, new tricks. We CAN be taught!
-
Thanks for the link.
-
Who are you calling "old"? Hmmm? Nice to see you again.
-
Can you take a picture and post it here so we have a better idea of what you're working with? From what you said in your original post I wouldn't be out of line to say you don't know what kind of tank you're using? This could be problematic when you go to buy coils (the heating element) to replace the bad one in your tank. Taking a pic and showing us what you have could help in so many ways.

Every time I see one of these articles I keep hanging on to the hope that this time... Thanks for the article link!
-
Also depends on how much power you're using on both coils.
-
How many watts are you using on this?
-
You might want to invest in another of what you have so you can have one charging while using the other. You could also get a whole different mod, there are many out there that aren't very expensive -- and you can use the tank you already have.

Still here folks and that's not all!

Nice to hear from you, Bebop! And good luck with your project and move. You sound like you have so many irons in the fire that 24 hour days just don't cut it anymore. Still, it's nice hearing from you. -
@Earthling789 Aaawwww, so CUTE! And the baby ain't bad either. *rim strike* You two look perfect together!

The coil should be fine for a short time, but if you're worried about it, put it into a small container filled with the eliquid you used with it. Do not put the coil into the fresh bottle of eliquid, however, so it doesn't contaminate the original eliquid.
-
Yes, you can swap out the coils with no problems --- however, I would use the same flavor of eliquid with each coil or you could wind up with a combination you won't like. You can use a different flavor with the 1.8 ohm coil, just keep coils and flavor together is all.

According to this reviewer, one of the cons to this device is that there is no battery life indicator. She says that the LED light just blinks a bunch of times when you need to recharge. For such a basic unit, it seems pretty good. If you want more information from your mod, you may want to look at a different mod altogether.

Welcome to Vapor Talk.

Congrats! I wanna see a pic of the new Papaw holding the little precious...
-
No problem, just wanted to let you know I moved this so you didn't go looking and wondering where it went.
-
Ha! Do we get to call you Grandpa Earthling now? Congrats on your first grandchild. I hope the delivery is easy and the new addition is healthy and LOUD.
-
Moved this to the temperature control area. =D Feel free to post away! That's what the forum is here for, and if we can give you some good advice along the way... well, it's win/win for everyone.

You could go up to 30PG/70VG and still be fine with the wicking. Personally, I'm liking the 40/60 mix for a good balance of flavor and vapor. Yes, I remember most of the people I help spend their money. Glad the iPower worked for you, it's a good mod to start with. I'm still using mine but then I rotate four - six of them at a time....

Moving to "General Vaping Discussion" area.

You didn't mention how long you vape the one juice without switching. You're right, it could very well be the dreaded "vaper's tongue". I find when that happens to me and I want to continue to vape the same juice, brushing the tongue, drinking more water, and not vaping for a little while fixes the issue. If I want to vape right away, I just go sniff some coffee grounds (just inhale the aroma of the ground coffee, don't sniff it into your nose) and that also helps to "cleanse the palate." Of course, PG is the flavor carrier so more PG in the juice might help. Likewise, with max VG, your wick might not be able to get sufficiently soaked with the juice before you vape again. If you want, you can put a couple or three or four drops of distilled water right into your tank to thin it out.
