Mmmmmm Vanilla bean ice cream. Oh. You're talking about the flavoring. Now you've got me thinking about wanting real ice cream, lol.

I can personally vouch for the Eleaf iPower 80W TC. They're good workhorses, very versatile, and they last forever -- since they hold a 5000 mAh battery inside. Even rotating between two, I only have to charge them about once a week, and I tend to chain vape when not at work.

Any order you make that's coming from China is going to take awhile. Usually a looooong while. If you want something sooner, you need to order from a vendor that's based in the US... you know... like the Vapor Talk store that's warehoused in California.

Can you tell us a brand name? That would be helpful.

Next month I'll be celebrating my five year anniversary of vaping. Since then, my dental hygienist tells me that she hardly has to do anything to clean my teeth anymore compared to when I was still smoking cigarettes. My teeth have never been whiter with little to no discoloration other than a slight staining due to the coffee and tea I drink -- not the vaping. That said, I vape dark, sweet juices as my all day vape with no problems, but then I also make sure that the juice in my tank is clean and I change out my coils as soon as the performance starts to drop. Hope you find a fix for your issue.

Glad you found a fix for it!

There's a thread called "Share your coil builds". Just pop those words into the search function of the forum (look at the top for a small magnifying glass and click on that), and you should be able to find it. Sorry, no bueno on knowing anything about the mod you listed. Welcome to Vapor Talk.

Moved to General Vaping Discussion thread. You should get more visibility for your question there.

I agree with @Edna and would also suggest you try to lift the center pin of your mod. Sometimes, the center pin of the mod gets pushed down and old juice will keep it pushed down so your atomizer doesn't make a solid connection. That's when your mod will tell you that it doesn't recognize that an atomizer is on it. Give Edna's suggestions a try and then come back and let us know that it worked.

Smok TFV8 Baby Beast coil recommendations, please!
Tam replied to Tam's topic in General Vaping Discussion
You only have to post this once and not in multiple threads. You'll get better results if you start your own thread. -
Scroll down for the explanation of the different resistance levels of each coil as well as the number and type of coil you want. In the Baby Beast tank, they include the Q2 and the V8 T8 (if I remember correctly). The Q2 has a 0.4 ohm dual coil. The V8 T8 is 0.15 ohm octuple coil. What do you prefer?

Googled and found this site. I've never heard of them before so I can't tell you if they're reputable or not. Buy at your own risk. https://www.bigmarvel.com/vapeberri-tank-coils/

Subohm tanks and coils need lots of air. Open that up and try it again.
-
Have you contacted some of the places that make the wraps? I'd try that or you can make your own, just be sure to cut out ventilation areas.
-
Not saying that the Baby Beast won't work for you, it might just not work for you right now. Yes, you might try getting an inexpensive beginner's tank like the Kanger Aerotank 2 like I suggested for another new vaper. One thing we haven't asked yet, though. Do you have the airflow on your Baby Beast wide open? This is a subohm tank and needs a lot of airflow or you'll get the burning sensation.
-
I use wraps all the time on my mods but they're the precut ones. These days they're cheap enough to just buy.
-
No need to feel dumb, we all had to start somewhere. As for the baby beast, I just recently got one and didn't care for the hot vapor even after I tried all the tricks to get it to work the way it's supposed to. It could be that you need something different for your own vaping style. In my opinion? I'd never start a new vaper with your kit, I'd go with something much easier and no subohm. My latest protoge got started with a couple of Vision Spinner batteries (that's what I had on hand to pay forward, not that I'd necessarily go this easy for most people starting out), and a couple of Kanger ProTank mini 3s with 1.8 ohm dual coils. Once he had that for a while I moved him to an Eleaf iPower 80W and a Kanger Aerotank 2. He's not interested in subohming, just wants off the smokes for now and is happy moving slow. Your mileage may be different.

OP said he filled the tank and then let it sit overnight. That should have done the trick.

Your... "pot"? I know today's 4/20 but that's not what we're here for.

Whatever makes you happy is a good thing. Go you!

Did you thoroughly clean the tank and drip tip before using? If not, I would suggest you do that to remove anything like this as well as any machining oil residue before vaping. Don't know what this is but it certainly looks nasty.
