  1. Well, maybe it wouldn't be too bad if you had a full hazmat suit on...
  2. We've allowed it in the past so I don't see a problem, but let me float this by you: Vapor Talk the forum is being funded through Vapor Talk the online store that sells eliquids and hardware. If it were me, I would only post the coupon codes if someone asked for them, but that's just me. You do what you feel is right.
  3. Being a klutz, and totally aware that I'm a klutz... there's no way I'd get near that with a ten foot pole. Give me the diluted version, it works well enough for what I want anyway.
  4. I agree with @Earthling789's advice. If you absolutely must take up vaping, then do it with the 0 mg juice. The higher the PG ratio in the juice, the more throat hit you'll get. Some flavors like citrus, cinnamon, menthol... will also give a stronger throat hit. But let me ask you this: why would you want to start a hobby that may not be sustainable? If the FDA's "redeeming regulations" are allowed to stand, vaping as we know it right now will come to a screeching halt and getting vaping gear and juices will become next to impossible or at a price so high that most people won't be able to afford them. I would tell you to find a different hobby, one that you can continue for years without unhealthy repercussions like... playing guitar. Guitars will be forever cool, and people who play guitar are always the life of the party. Some people have been known to make money from this hobby. Might give it a try.
  5. What is the desired amount of nicotine when you're going for? In other words, when you buy premade eliquid now, how many milograms of nic do you get? I'm vaping 3 mg of nic now so even 1 drop of pure 100% nic inside a tank would probably be too much for me. YMMV
  6. Moved this thread to "Latest Vaping Products".
  7. A 1.8 ohm coil in a Nautilus on a Magneto mech mod is fine. I've used that set up on my Magneto and had very good results. It's when you start going lower in coil resistance (subohm), that you want to start being more careful. Be sure to lock your power button on the Magneto before setting it down.
  8. Was a fan of Tolkien waaaay before Peter Jackson even read the books, but then I'm older than dirt, lol.
  9. Don't you mean " palantír " instead of a crystal ball? The difference being that palantir were made by the Elves of Valinor.
  10. @Christopher What do you say? Stock this in purple, please? Then, you won't need to worry about ordering a pony for me.
  11. Thanks, but I don't do orange. Now show me purple and I'll go completely bat$*** crazy and order one.
  12. Congrats, Adversarious! We love to celebrate vape-a-verseries. These are the very best ones. Here's to many, many more!
  13. And I can see me vaping happily until I fumble finger it. I'd need to be sitting on the floor wrapped in bubble wrap to keep it in one piece, unfortunately. Too bad because it's lovely.
  14. The PG/VG ratio in your juice can also affect flavor. PG is your flavor carrier so more PG = more flavor but also more throat hit and thinner juice, not a cloud maker. VG is your vapor, smoother hit, a tad bit sweeter but thicker juice so it can clog coils faster. Many people go around 60% or 70% VG with their juices and get the most out of the flavor, plenty of vapor, and an overall satisfying vape. What are you using now?
  15. Welcome to Vapor Talk.
  16. Generally, when we get more information about the exploding battery, we discover that the person who got hurt was carrying a loose battery in his pocket with change, keys, other metal objects, and it created a situation where the battery shorted out. In the case of a woman who put her extra battery in her purse, she thought it was safe because she put it into a separate pocket in the purse and didn't have the battery safely in a protective case. In this situation, I believe her keys were the culprit. If you're using good batteries in your mod, taking care to lock the mech mod before putting it down/away when not in use, carrying your spare batteries in a case to keep it from coming into contact with metal... you should be okay. Of course, there are always instances of bad batteries, malfunctioning mods, etc. but those are pretty rare if you take the proper precautions.
  17. You go to the URL in your browser's address box, copy and paste that into your post... et voila! video embedded.
  18. You really don't want to be vaping essential oils, I can't even imagine what that would do to your lungs. If I were you, I'd stick to vaping regular eliquids specifically made for vaping with "traditional" gear.

    Coils

What Bebop said. These days, with the authentic name brand coils so easy to get and at a reasonable price, why would you want to use non-name brand coils?
  20. Here's the video @Edna link to in her post above:
  21. Good job on the review, Walt!
  22. Sorry, no can do. You'll need to cut and paste it into a new post in the Hardware Review area.
  23. Pssst! Hey, Walt, why don't you start a new thread in the hardware review section with your great review above so others who might be thinking of buying one of these can find it.
  24. Hey, Bebop, in order to "lock your mod" on this unit, do you just press and hold the up and down buttons at the same time until you see a picture of a lock on the display? I'm curious if it's the same as the iPower and iStick units.
  25. Very neat and pretty coils, Adversarious!
