What coil do you have in your Baby Beast? How long has this current coil been inside your tank? Are you vaping sweet and/or dark juices? What VG level is your juice? On the iPower 80W display, on the far right hand side of the number, is there a W next to it or different letters? All of these questions can have something to do with you not getting the vapor you used to.

What flavor is your concentrate and what flavor of juice do you want to wind up with (if it's a mix)?

Or a story where the reporter gets *ALL* the facts and details of the story, not just enough to sensationalize the evils of e-cigs. They never have details, they only say things like, "...it started to spark and then exploded when he put it into his pocket..." and "...he is now in the burn unit at the hospital and must have skin grafts because an ecig battery exploded like a rocket..." Never a mention about what brand of battery, what resistance his coil was, if the battery was loose with change and keys in his pocket, if the batteries were stacked in the unregulated mod, if the mod was damaged in some way and the guy insisted on continuing to use it even though it was sparking when he took a hit... sheesh.

And with new stuff coming out all the time, even us "old timers" are "noobs" all over again.

I know, but I just can't seem to set it up so that I don't wind up with warm to hot vapor and/or harsh throat hit. I'm doing something wrong but I don't have the patience to play around with it, lol. Come to Colorado and set me straight.

If you're going to produce more vapor, you will go through more eliquid. There's no way around that. Me, personally, I prefer not to sub-ohm because I don't care for the warmer vapor. My coil resistance of choice is a 1.8 ohm coil in an Aspire Triton 2. The eliquid I use is 40 PG/60 VG and makes enough clouds to fog up a small home office when I'm chain vaping. That said, when I create that much vapor, it stands to reason that I'm going through much more juice than "normal."

What's sad is that all too often all the media reports is that an e-cig exploded. They don't tell you what brand, model, what tank... any of the pertinent details that could really explain how the e-cig exploded. Most often it's a loose battery in a pocket full of change and car keys that shorted out.

You know you've come a long way in a short period of time when you take a piece of equipment that isn't working up to par and you find a way to make it work. That's the mark of someone who is truly hard headed committed to letting go of the analogs and moving fully to vaping.

There are many tanks that would work well for this mod. What are you looking for? Do you vape mouth to lung or direct to lung? How much VG do you use in your juice? What mg of nic? It's because of @Edna that I got started on these tips, too. Be very careful... she's dangerous! Lol.

@Edna gives some sound advice on juices and letting them steep / age some. I've had some juices that were so awful when I first got them turn into OMG! I have to have more once I let it sit a week or more. EC Blend's Tiger's Blood is one of those. The longer I let it sit, the more the cream flavor came out. Four weeks later, I couldn't get enough of it so I started buying a bottle every so often so that I would have a four (or more) week old juice all the time.

Looks like you've got all the important info above. I was going to suggest drinking lots of water and not to worry about it as that's what's referred to as "Vaper's tongue." Change flavors for a bit and the flavor of the first one that you lost will come back.
