  1. Thanks, but the surgery went pretty smooth and my first PT appointment, they said I was already at the point where they release the patient. If I could just get the ankle to stop screaming I'd be ready to go dancing. Hope your back doesn't give you fits for too long.
  2. If I could I'd share my Percocet with you, lord knows the docs keep trying to give me more scripts lately. Just got a brand new knee a couple of weeks ago and the pain in my ankle overshadows anything the knee is saying.
  3. @Walt's google-fu is strong... Hope your back gets to feeling better soon!
  4. Basically, you can buy any mod that has a 510 connection with the Big Baby Beast tank, you don't need to buy the exact Smok V8 Stick. If it were me, I'd go with something that would allow me to customize the amount of power the coil in the tank gets instead of a fixed power source like what comes with the V8 stick. Other members around here will give you lots of suggestions on what they like best. What would you prefer, something with a non-removable battery that has high battery life (high mAh) or removable batteries so you can charge them outside the mod? You'd get better bang for the money if you switch to something else.
  5. Along with what @FXRich suggested, I would take a cotton swab dipped in alcohol and clean the connections and let them dry completely before trying it again.
  6. Prayers for those in Las Vegas as well as all the other tragedies that have happened of late.
  7. Is this brand new or have you had it awhile? You didn't over fill it, right? Also, when was the last time you changed your coil? I found this link for you, it might have something useful? http://www.joyetech.com/product/ego-aio/?age-verified=25b5b83428
  8. Tell us what brand and model your "vape pen" is, that information would help us dial in on what could be causing your problem. What tank are you using? Is it a all-in-one style? If you don't know the make and model, then could you take a picture of it and post it here so we can see?
  9. Glad it's working for you. With a 1.8 ohm coil I usually vape at 7.8 watts but go up and down depending on what works best for me. Try going down a bit to see if that works even better. If not, you can always go up. The lower your power settings, the longer your charge will last, too.
  10. If you have it on 45 now, start at around 30 and vape. Not doing it for you? Turn it up a little... say... like to 32 and vape. Repeat that until you get a slight burnt taste and then back it down a few. That should be the sweet spot for that juice. Another thought just came through. How long have you been using the current coil? It could be that you need a new coil.
  11. Different eliquids require different wattage/power options. Have you tried turning it down? Start low, vape. If it's not doing it for you, turn up a smidge and repeat. Maybe that will help?
  12. Your review was nicely done. One thing I would be interested in knowing is if you purchased the juice or did the manufacturer/vendor send you a free sample for review?
  13. Glad to be of help. I love wraps and use them all the time on my iPower 80W.
  14. Do a search for "Lost Vape Triade DNA 250 wraps" and take a look at all the choices that come up. If you like gel wraps, go here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ModShield-for-Lost-Vape-Triade-DNA200-DNA250-Silicone-Case-Sleeve-ByJojo-/272358566649?var=&epid=1282493345&hash=item3f69d5eaf9:m:mhC_4AApIGE_wq1Jvy7i8mg
  15. Have you cleaned all the connections to the batteries? I'd do that inside the mod, change the batteries for new ones and try again.
  16. Ugh. Sorry, I missed that part. :(
  17. Have you tried taking 3 - 4 short puffs before taking a long drag? That usually produces a denser cloud of vapor if you prime it like that first.
  18. You don't mention what the resistance of your coil is. That information would be helpful as well as how high a wattage/voltage you're using. Whenever you put in a new juice with a different PG/VG ratio or just a new flavor, you want to start low, vape. If that's not what you want, turn it up. Vape. Repeat until you taste a slight burnt taste then back it down a little. Not every juice/flavor/PG/VG ratio will use the same watts/volts.
  19. Like @Walt said, try cleaning the 510 connection. Don't know if you have a fixed pin inside it or if it has a spring, but you can also lift the connector inside the 510 connection a little to make a better connection. Be very gentle and use a pin or a straightened paper clip.
  20. My... how squonking has evolved. Once upon a time we used squonkers for direct drip atomizers. Look how far they've come...
  21. Congratulations on your engagement! You can find a nice balance between adulting and still having fun. Enjoy your new apartment for the time you have it all to yourself. Even though I love my SO to pieces, there are times when I miss having my own place.
  22. Don't forget the "Ooooh, SHINY!" generation that has the attention span of... oh, look! Pony!!!
  23. Does no one remember the tale of the goose that laid the golden eggs? Yes, let's just raise the tax so high it forces small businesses to close so the employees no longer have an income. Let's raise taxes so high on vaping supplies that everyone either resorts back to smoking and putting a further strain on the healthcare industry and Medicaid/Medicare, or they go online to buy what they need. *bangs head on wall* If these politicians would just stop and think, they could actually do something positi... nevermind. Thinking and politicians don't mix. Oxymoron. Ugh.
  24. So cute! Does he ever scratch at your door to get your attention? There was a tree outside of our old apartment. If I ever forgot to put the nuts (walnuts and almonds) out, Mr. Squirrel would climb the tree so she could see inside my kitchen window and bark at me until I put nuts out for her. My SO named her Mr. Squirrel. It wasn't until much later that we found out that he was a she. Gotta love the little critters. Now, I have a Great Horned Owl hanging out on our roof who is rather vocal. All. Night. Long. Mix that with the pack of coyotes that live in the culvert in the next lot over and we have quite a chorus at night.
  25. You guys are so funny... but in an ingenius, very inventive way. Carry on, I can't wait to see what you come up with in the end for the perfect DIY mixer.
