  1. When I got it it was set a high wattage (I don't remember exactly) and I set the temp to 400 and it got hot really fast, too hot for my liking and in only about 2 seconds, it was like a half of a hit I didn't like it. I tried hitting it at a high wattage and 400-450 temp but it was just way too much for me. I like the lower temp so I can draw longer and not set my mouth on fire lol. That might change the longer I vape tho. Thanks for the response, it made perfect sense [emoji854] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. When I say hot very fast I mean the vapor not the device [emoji854] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I just bought a Halo Reactor Mega and use it on TC. It allows you to adjust the wattage while on TC, and I have it at 30 watts and at 280 degrees. I had it set over 400 degrees but I watched the temperature as I hit it and it never went above 260 so I put the temp down to 280. I was under the impression that while on TC mode devices would adjust the wattage accordingly? This one runs on whatever wattage you set it at almost immediately once the fire button is hit then the temp begins to go up. Meaning I hit fire, it goes up to 30w then the temp begins to rise. I noticed it gets hot very fast at higher watts and don't like the heat it produces so I leave it at 30. The coil is .25 and is recommended between 20-60 watts. I'm just wondering about controlling both wattage and temp at the same time. I wasn't aware you could do that [emoji854]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Got my Halo yesterday, LOVE IT!!! Been vaping in TC and have had no probs!! Actually, my 3mg nic flavor I had that gave me a headache in my smok setup doesn't give me a headache in my Halo [emoji3] I think using TC has everything to do with it tho, lol. Don't think I'll ever vape in wattage mode again [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I'm planing on using TC mode with my Reactor Mega, so I'm glad you pointed that out to me [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Huh, I coulda swore when I had the Alien they said SS on the side and Stainless Steel on the box. Thanks for the info [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You can't use their coils in temp control? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. The coils for the Halo tank*** Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The coils that come with the tank are the same resistance as the Smok coils... so there shouldn't be a problem of too low ohms I'm assuming?? Is that what you mean by too low of an ohm build? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hey everyone. I have a question about tanks.. I'm getting a Halo Reactor Mega and I already have a Smok TFV8 Big Baby Beast tank. Will that tank work with the Halo Reactor Mega? I see videos of people using the Smok tanks on non-Smok devices and just wondering (aside from the same size threading) how to determine if a tank is compatible with a diff brand vape... Thanks!! 11. What kind of wall adapter do you use? Mine just came with a power cord and I'm nervous about charging it. The wall adapter I used got hot when it was charging, but my vape wasn't warm or anything at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Thanks everyone!!! Just worried about battery damage as it's the new hype lol. My bosses vape caught fire a few weeks ago, apparently her batteries were backwards and it made a popping noise and caught fire [emoji15][emoji15] I just started vaping a week before that happened to her so I'm always worried. It changes thing when something like that happens to someone you know. Don't want it to happen to me lol [emoji53] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hello everyone [emoji3] I'm fairly new at this, and was wondering about the battery in the Smok V8 Stick. Is it replaceable? How will I know if the battery is going bad on it? I can't find any information on battery replacement or if you can even replace it. I previously had an Alien kit and the batteries were easily removed from it, and I'm just wondering about the battery in this one. If it isn't replaceable or I can't open the device to see if there is battery damage, how will I know if it is going bad?? Sorry for being a newbie battery pain!! I didn't think to ask when I bought it Thanks in advance [emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
