  1. Updated with the new color coded T3S's. In there are 5 Kanger T3S filled with Strawberry Fields, Spearmint, and Candy Cane all from Vapedudes and Juicy Peach and Traditional Tobacco from Sweet-Vapes. All 24mg and either 70-30 or 80-20. I keep two EgoT 1000mah, two Ego mini 400mah, and one of my Spinners (for when I want Tobacco flavor, I prefer the 1000mah over the spinner for all other flavors). Always have 2-3 replacement coils and the stock of Q-Tips for cleaning up a refill or condensation out of the mouthpiece. Just finished filling tanks and packing my case for the lake tonight and tomorrow. If it would only hold my charger..... Scouts Motto: Be Prepared!

  3. So after winning a KPT in Brian's contest,I decided I wanted some other goodies to go in the pkg. with it Shipping was fast,I ordered Sun. and it was here Wed. The KPT is in my wife's possession but I hear it's very nice lol. I had some trouble with my new goodies so I opened a ticket to see if Brian would walk me through making it work since I couldn't figure it out. After a few e-mails and a phone call we decided it wasn't working as it should. Now we all know that when a vendor sends out a sealed pkg. they have no control over what the Mfg. puts in it,but Brian went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my new toy.The replacement arrived today, just 3 days after I first contacted him.Not only did I receive fast courteous service but he went the extra mile in a number of ways. Brian is definitely a White Hat kinda guy as most of us already knew even before he became a supplier.I'm happy to have even more proof of what a great person he is. Chris has developed a great forum full of awesome folks and is himself top notch. When we add in Mark,Jeffb,Birddog,Brian,Uma and many many others it's no wonder so many of us have found a home here!!!

oh come on give us younger folk the benefit of the doubt! I love vinyl! i think the raw sound of the vinyl is much more preferred to me over a cd or mp3. I even have a turn table! lol!

  5. After about a year of heated debate with my wallet, I finally went for broke today and bought an HH.357 Long Barrel Hybrid 510 2Ω Atomizer from Avid Vaper for $25.31 shipped. My previous favorite drip atty was an EmpireMods Premium Bridge Free LR901 1.5Ω, but sadly (after only 7½ months ), the resistance level recently started dropping, so I figured catastrophic failure was imminent. Now I'll finally get to see why the HH.357 costs $14.50 more than my old atty.

There have been so many songs that have defined me in one way or another, over the years. But the one song that still grabs me every time I hear it, is CCR's "Run Through the Jungle". It's been like a mainstay in my life since the Vietnam war era when my school buddies were fighting and some dying. If we're not fighting one thing, we're fighting another. Our lives have been touched, enhanced, strengthened by all these fights, whether it be fighting for our country or fighting for our lives against disease, this song sums up the fight in all of us for every reason we've ever encountered. Somehow, this song always leaves me in a state of gratitude for all those who fought for my right to gripe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhyszpvObvw

i picked up the igo-w and you wanna talk about a sad coil build? lol and i think i got 34g wire with it instead of 32 because i did a 4/3 wrap and it came out somewhere around 2.3 to 2.4 ohms. lol

  10. Well my experience vaping in public has been different then most. I am a social butterfly and have never met a stranger lol, I was also the guy walking around with 11 facial piercings and gauges and a 2ft mohawk so the looks i dont even notice anymore and they never bothered me before. haha! I have been approached by people in the gorcery store and on the sidewalk, bars, parking lots, restaraunts, and the like. They all know what the e-cigs are but arent really sure what the hell my eVic is, so they come over to ask me what it is and why would i buy something like that. I explain the benefits of it over a normal battery as far as my experience has been. Usually they ask me where they can get one or read up on it for themselves or a loved one and i give them one of brian's cards. I dont ever hide what im doing. Im not ever really discreet either bc i smoke 100%VG and my eVic and protank will blow clouds for days at 4.5v. I have never been one to hide what im doing based on popular vote. If someone were ever to come up to me and as me not to do it in the grocery store or a bar or any public place other then outdoors i would politely put it away. but i have never had that happen... actually people are more intrigued by the vanilla smell then the huge cloud of vapor usually floating around me. LOL! just my experience though. Can I ask all of you discreet vapers a question though? If you have the right to walk outside the bar and smoke either on the patio or on the sidewalk... Why do you try to be discreet? Is it a matter of social courtesy? or is it a conflict avoidance behavior?

  11. I have never seen the batt you linked to before. The Vision Spinners or the Joyetech Twists have a proven track record. The one you linked to appears to be an off brand. With a Protank or Vivi Nova you just fill and vape. It may take a whole 10 seconds to fill it up. No biggy. DCT's require punching cartos and they leak. DCT's are so 2012

  12. Yep.... I didn't see the responses until now - thank you guys! The wife and I just upgraded to a "Uno Vapor" brand for $34.00 each with a (manual) 650 battery and a clearomizer - he threw in some juice - which was nice, but the juice wasn't what I was used to or it was just not good for my taste - either way, I already was filling my Krave filters with a mix of nicotine juice (Tsunami 18 tobacco flavor and mixing it with Wilton Glycerin)- so putting that into these? WOW! What a difference - better hit - more vapor - - - the Krave was great for starters, but these are miles above that - The guy said it was part of the Ego company at the local weekend flea market - but I can't see that they are off hand, but at least the battery is a replaceable one without much grief because it looks exactly like the ego brand , and the wife LOVES the clear - and the ease of filling these .... pretty cool ! ! ! ! I'm afraid of what my next upgrade will cost me!!!! LOL!!!!

i really like it. Only problem is im having troube tracking down silica in a reasonable length for the price. Im NOT going to pay 20 for a 2ft section of it. lol thats just plain ridiculous!

  17. I haven't used the flare one yet. I have my Larger protank on my Lava tube...works amazing !! I just got the KPT mini for my egos and so far....amazing !! but, its only on day 2, but I really do love it.

  18. very nice!!!! I have finally added an ego charging case to my collection for traveling. hold a couple batteries, couple clearomizers and some liquid....and it can charge while I'm out running around (or while I'm stuck on a plane for 12 hours)

  19. Dude without the Qtips I wouldn't know what to do lol. Aquatroy turned me on to them with filling the KPT and the same theory holds true for the T3S. Makes it so much easier. Plus I can swab out the condensation form the tip. I started keeping them when I was using leaky CE4s that I had to blow out 3-4 times a day. I use them a lot less after switching to Kangers that rarely if ever leak.

  20. looks awesome B! nice little case you got there. i have never thought about carrying q-tips around with me.... i might have to add those to the list of things to put in my new case.

  21. I am so happy you love it !!! It makes such a difference when you find the sweet spot for vaping. are you using the collar that has the flare at the bottom to fit the larger tank or the collar that is the same side top and bottom....just curious. Posting some emotes for you !!

  22. The librarians in my town usually ask what flavor I have today. I'm in the library almost daily, people around here don't care if I pull out my pv. If I do get questions I answer them politely explain how it has helped me quit the stinkies and if they are a smoker I offer a drag after explaining how to use it. I also tell them about VT and theveteranvaper.com

  23. I have several batteries but in my collection are two Ego Mini 400mah. I got them from Sweet-Vapes.com for about $10. They are small, very small, but last me 7-8 hours per charge and only take about 2 hours to fully charge. My Kanger T2s and my new favorite T3S are larger than the battery. I added the small ones to my collection to have something cheap I could take on the lake on weekends and take chances with around water and in the water that I wouldn't want to do with my other larger more expensive batteries. I love the way they perform and the stainless look is pretty cool as all my others are rubberized black. They run about 3.5v and seem to hold that all the way through the battery life cycle.

I bet your wrap was better than mine, LOL!!!! When it comes to Genny's, it has become so easy to wrap a beautiful coil. But, when it comes to RDA's......I have soooooo much to learn. BTW: the W is SWEET!!!! I almost bought one because it looked so good on my Sigelei #8.....maybe once I master the Igo-L......

    Igo-L Dripper

Just bit the bullet, and went to my local vapor lounge, and picked up an Igo-L..... Of course, I cannot leave well enough alone, and drilled out the air hole to 5/64".....seems to have cleared up any inflow issues caused by the hole sitting lower than the wick. Honestly, I'm fairly happy with the purchase, and now need to get better at working in such a tight place. My first RDA build vaped well (3/2 wrap of 28awg kanthal for 0.8 ohm), but looks pretty sad, LOL!!!

    Kanger T3S

I think now that you can buy the replacement bases it fixes the issues. The airway hole is vastly smaller then the previous bases and they dont seem to have the same problem of not screwing into the tank portion all the way. You can replace the bases on your t3's for around 2.50 a pop and just replace the coils for 1.50 a piece... and not to mention.... rix since your a huge rebuildable guy... you can actually pull those coils completely apart and rebuild them... and they dont seem to be a terribly hard build. I will let you know as soon as i can get my hands on some silica and some kanthal wire.
    1 point
  30. just for the record i vape 100% VG in my protank and I have two. I have not had any issues besides when i first got mine and tried to use a cotton wick which i found to be too aggressive as if like to flood the coil. BUT!!!! that was more user error then it was a product malfunction.

    Kanger T3S

Well rixter i actually had a full tank of the vapor room gummy bear in my T3S today and literally smoked it all the way down to where there was no juice even left in the bottom of the coil. not that i usually go that far but i just wanted to see if it was possible and how it would do when it got low. I had absolutely no problems with it leaking.

  33. Dekang as well as Huff n Puff n Stuff are two of the absolute worst ejuice suppliers I have vaped. Both companies' juices taste very chemically unnatural and even with a month of steeping still taste "off". But just as has already been mentioned, someone's absolute "vape all day" juice could be another's worst tongue nightmare.

  34. I am going to be in the minority saying this, but after vaping a few tanks out of my KPT I am not a huge fan. It might be better on a mod than my spinners and stock ego batteries but there is still a distinct taste I cannot get over. With that said, it made me realize how much I like the bottom coil style and after vaping about a half a tank out of one of my new T3S's I can already tell they are vastly better than the T2 long wick and do not have the bad metallic taste I get from the KPT.

  36. You're not being held here by a chain. Persecution is the systematic mistreatment of an individual or group by another group. You are not being singled out (Or persecuted as you put it) Every member (including staff) have the same notification under their names. Myself included. You are on a forum free of charge which simply asks that you are over 18 as we discuss (and sell) products that are for use by those over 18. Same as any adult website. This helps limit our liability. We also have entities located in California and New Jersey and as such must follow their laws. Believe me, as far as e cigarette forums go, we're probably the most lax. Though we have our own store and brand, we allow other members and suppliers to promote 3rd party products in a fairly open environment. Even if it affects our bottom line. I started this forum in 2009 and have done my best to grow this company before handing over the torch with open and fairness in mind. Your statement is offensive. Persecuted? Give me a break.

    510 one......Zzzzzzzz

The Halo G6 smaller batteries are this way. I was vaping like a monster but still wondering why I was not ok. It was Tam who recognized my problem as not enough battery to get a decent nic hit. They sell because they look like a cig. The iTaste VV/vw I sport looks like an electric tooth brush! I-dont-care! It gives me a decent hit at 800mah. The litle batteries are mini and mini in mili amp hours also. Not really a good fit for anyone for long terem control of tobacco.

  39. thats my e cig coozy, holds 2 complete setups made by a customer of my wife. the protank is the same diameter as the "grenade" battery but its rather heavy that way. only thing exposed when everything is in the coozy are the drip tips.

  42. I'm waiting on some Cinnamon Fireball ("Make It Nuclear" option) from EC Blend to arrive before I try out the KPT that I won in Veteran Vapers VT contest. You gotta have glass to vape it in. From the EC Blend product page warning: DO NOT USE CINNAMON FIREBALL WITH POLYCARBONATE TANKS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. (Read Review portion below): Posted By: Dungeoner : I've actually melted 3 Vivi Nova tank threads with this juice, and almost completely melted the bottom of an acrylic threaded drip-tip on a Stardust. I didn't know what that odd flavor was when I was vapping till I unscrewed the drip-tip and found that it didn't want to come out too easily. The entire shaft was disfigured & broken down. I actually threw out the Stardust after that. I should note that the Nova tanks lasted a good 3 weeks of constant use before the threads were too far gone. The Stardust drip-tip however, lasted less than a week; perhaps 3-4 days. Although this is by far (in my opinion) the best juice out there, it will tear up your plastic items.

  43. Not saying you won't like the T3...I just know that after having used both kinds in the past, I tended to gravitate towards the easiest one to fill more often than not. I have also noticed that the bottom coil clearos tend to leak a little more than the top coil clearos. That's probably because the wick & coil assembly is always submersed in a BCC. PS - you can always compensate for the lower vape temp by upping the voltage on your PV.

  45. Welcome to VT. I was a pipe tobacco and cigar abuser for ; well since Vietnam if that tells you. For me that was at aged 17. Working 12 hour days or more and missing meals but burning thru dozens of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco to keep going. It was a war you know. Since then I was almost always with a stogie in my mouth. It's a wonder why I havent had more go wrong with me like cancer, copd, etc. I do have respiratory issues, cpap, and until recently always smelled like an ashtray. E-cigs can mean freedom for you. has for me. and like my buddy Medic says, always have and get backups. You will have issues and a backup can make the difference in a happy day or Nic withdrawl. It aint nice. My tatsters ar still coming back so I am learning all over again what things are like. Things I used to like I may not anymore. Things I hated I may love now. Same will be true for you! hang out, ask questions, and be part of the family. I am convinced the loving people here are at least 50% responsible for keeping me off the poisons now!!

    Fav Flavors?

Funny thing taste is, what is a filet mignon to some is a Mcdouble to others lol. With nicotine liquids, taste is more subjective than just about any other thing I have encountered in my 43 years.
