  1. Not tats...yet. I have at least two planned. Work requires no more than 25% of an arm tattoo be visible, otherwise long sleeve shirts are required. One of the tattoos I want will be close to a full sleeve of one of my arms. Other than that...how in the world can you be bored to tears on Election Tuesday?
  2. I had this issue when I got my first TFV8 and the first time I changed the coil in it. Here is what I did to resolve the issue (this works for other top-fill tanks as well, not just the TFV8): Saturate the coil with liquid before installing it. Don't just prime it with a few drops, really let the liquid soak in almost to the point excess is going to start dripping out of the coil. After you install the coil, close off the airflow before filling the tank. It will help create a vacuum effect. If the airflow is open, air can obviously get in. The air will want to work it's way to the top of the tank and will essentially "push" the liquid down. Before opening the airflow, take a few draws without activating your mod. Yes, the hits will be difficult without the airflow open, but this also helps with the vacuum effect. Open the airflow and take a couple more draws without activating your mod. Vape and enjoy. Side note - make sure new coils are tight enough to make a connection, but don't over tighten them. Over tightening can cause a crack or completely break the gasket on the bottom of the coil, which can also lead to leaking. Honestly, those things work. While thin liquids are going to be more prone to leaking, proper coil priming and tank filling will solve most issues (provided there are no gasket issues). Somewhere around here I sort of explained the physics behind why coil saturation works, but in a nutshell - the wetter, the better.
  3. I've never experienced such a thing. I always remember to lock my buttons before I put a mod in my pocket. You guys aren't buying that, are you? Okay...okay...been there, done that as well. Like @smacksy, I now make sure there is nothing in the same pocket as my mod. But I do TRY to remember to lock buttons on whatever mod I'm using.
  4. I'm one who actually doesn't mind going to my polling location. If nothing else it gets me off early from work. I have actually been avoiding social media since September and will continue to do so until November 9th. Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  5. I'll join November 9th...just as soon as my pre-election FB sabbatical is over and done with...lol.
  6. My daily setups are 2 Fuchai 213s. One with a TFV8 Cloud Beast and one with a TFV8 Baby Beast.
  7. Once you have the equipment and supplies needed and a recipe or recipes with precise amounts, you can mix up a batch of liquid faster than you think.
  8. Quick Moderator note: I merged the post from the RBA/RDA with this one, as they are the same topic and the same issue.
  9. Spin-off or knock-off. It does indeed look like a combination of the RX200/Reauleaux DNA200 and the RX2/3. Almost the exact same dimensions of an RX2/3 in dual 18650 configuration with the same large +/- button, but with the smaller screen of the RX200/DNA200.
  10. Welcome to VT and ditto on what Tam and Earthling said. Let us know what you're using currently and there will be plenty of suggestions for you.
  11. The Sigelei Fuchai 213 and TFV8 are my daily drivers. I have three of the 213s and 2 TFV8 Cloud Beasts as well as two TFV8 Baby Beasts. Awesome setups. Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  12. Sigelei Fuchai 213 and Reuleaux RX200 or RX 2/3 are the first three that come to mind. All reliable and all are in your $50-$80 price range. Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  13. That part I bolded and underlined...that right there should answer your question. If you like it, that's what matters the most. However, as someone else mentioned, what do you mean by number 2 coil? That could either be a .2 ohm coil or it could be a 2.0 ohm coil. Quite a difference and if it was a 2.0 ohm coil at 35 watts, I'd be surprised if you still have any lips left. However, if are vaping with the Pico kit, then the tank you should have is a MELO 3 Mini. There aren't any "2" coils for it. The tank should come with a .3 ohm and a .5 ohm coil. If you're using a different tank, then it's entirely possible you could be running a .2 ohm coil and knowing what tank that is would help us make better, more educated recommendations. In either case, as I mentioned initially, if you like it, that's what matters. You can always gradually bump it up. I recommend bumping up a half watt to a full watt at a time. That will help you key in on your personal "sweet spot", which is different for everybody. When you bump by a half watt or a full want and it go beyond your "sweet spot", back it off that half watt or full watt. As far as the 6mg is concerned, that is quite alright. If you start to feel light headed, then you may want to consider diluting it a bit. Once again, though, if you like it...you get the picture. And welcome to VT @vaporwizard Sorry for the double post, folks. It's @Christopher's fault

  15. Looks like you swapped out the Q4 that comes installed for the T8 coil. Good call in my opinion. The Q4 is a decent coil, but like it's counterpart on the Cloud Beast, it's very airy. The T8 is a slightly stiffer draw. Not much, but noticeable and in my opinion the T8 coils produce better vapor without sacrificing any flavor.
  16. I have 4 other mech mods already. All with recessed buttons. A couple have magnetic switches, a couple have springs. I'm not looking at these four as "daily drivers". I don't even use my current mechs daily. They are a "sit in the mancave while I drink beer and watch football" type of thing for me. I also use my mechs and RDAs if I'm going to be doing an eliquid review, although even that might be changing because I'm getting much better flavor production from my Baby Beasts. I'm looking at these four more because of the price and to have additional options available than anything, but having backups of anything, including mods, doesn't ever hurt.
  17. I'm looking at picking up 1 to 4 new mech mods from the VT store and I'm curious about whether anybody on the forums uses or has used any of these: Fuhattan Nemesis Caravela Clone Hades I'm looking at these mostly for the purpose of adding them to my vape stash and because at $10 each they are hard to pass up, though I do intend to occasionally use whatever I end up getting. Obviously the Fuhattan is a Manhattan clone and the Caravela clearly states that it's a clone, but I'm not sure about the Nemesis or the Hades. In any event, if anybody has any input on these four mech mods, it would be appreciated.
  18. Thanks @FXRich! Indeed he is. I can rewire a guitar, rebuild a good 'ol Chevy or Ford V8 from the block up without looking at a manual, build a computer from scratch and disassemble/reassemble guns with one eye closed and the other covered with an eye patch, but I don't know the first thing about machining or tools involved with it...lol . I'll definitely talk to him and depending on what he can get me.
  19. @Earthling789, what are you using for drip tip covers? Are they actually drip tip covers? If so, where did you get those? I've never seen them before.
  20. To be clear, VapeNW is on the "unknown source" list and 101vape is on the "counterfeit" list. In the case of VapeNW, I think it's probably a situation along the lines of what @FXRich mentioned in his original reply, where the product may go through multiple distributors. For instance, 10 cases of drip boxes may be sold to an importer, then that importer will break up those cases and sell them to multiple distributors. Those distributors may break those cases up even further and sell to regional distributors. So changing hands multiple times and Kanger losing track of where they came from makes sense. In the case of 101vape, I have never had a problem with them, but I have also never purchased Kanger products. It could simply be a situation where someone purchased a Kanger product that ended up being counterfeit and told Kanger they bought it from 101vape, or 101vape may have been dealing with a distributor that sold them counterfeit products. In any event, what I find more interesting than the fact some frequently used sites are on Kanger's list is the fact that Kanger has a list in the first place.
  21. I have about a dozen of these. I picked them up for $1 each from a B&M when they were going out of business. I'm trying to get my brother to machine me some more. All of them are aluminum. Most are threaded, but a couple aren't. I see these frequently for about $3 each and I have yet to knock over a tank. In any event, it beats trying to balance them on their 510 pins and hope they remain upright. I also have some ideas of a modular type setup similar to the one below, but made of wood. I want to be able to break it down or re-configure it to my liking as well as expand it as my collection of mods, tanks and RDA's continues to grow.
  22. I thought I'd share the information here since I know there are a lot of folks around here that really like their Kanger products, really like certain online vendors or both. I came across this quite by accident, as I was looking for information about the relationship between Kanger and Arymi. That's a potentially interesting story for another thread at another time, but during my search for information I came across a couple of pages on the KangerTech website that show lists of allegedly unauthorized websites selling counterfeit Kanger products and/or selling Kanger products that they obtain from an unknown source. I do not know how Kanger made the determination these sites were selling counterfeit goods or were obtaining them from unknown sources, but some of these sites are sites many of us have used or continue to use. A few of the notables from the unknown source list: VapeNW ElementVape Aspenvalleyvapes A few more notables from the "counterfeit" list: FastTech Kangertech.co.kr (South Korea) kangertech.dk (Denmark) 101Vape kangermall Those were the notables that stuck out in my head (the two kanger branded sites simply because they are probably not actually affiliated with Kanger). You can check the full lists of those that Kanger has "black listed" by clicking HERE for the "Unknown Source" sites, or you can click HERE for the "counterfeit" sites.
