  1. That's true. It's nothing short of a miracle I didn't blow myself up during the almost quarter century I smoled. [emoji23] Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  2. Fortunately that incident occurred in Germany. Not that it's a fortunate situation, just that it didn't happen here in the U.S. Many air freaheners will do that. It's usually the propellant that is flammable (in the case of spray air fresheners). Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  3. I'm sure more changes will happen and more improvements will be made, but they aren't all going to happen overnight. Even God rested on the 8th day. (Contrary to popular belief, he actually created the USMC on the 7th day [emoji6].) Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  4. Darwin's Law hard at work. Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.
  5. Some of this arrived via vape mail, some of it arrived via me walking into one of my local B&M's. I've been cashing out my loyalty points at various online and local shops...lol From left to right (sort of) Twisted Messes V2 RDA Lost Vape Triade DNA 200 (this thing is pretty darn nice!) My 3rd Sigelei Fuchai 213 (What can I say? I LOVE this little mod) This one is in pink (don't give me a hard time about it being pink!) Twisted Messes V1 airflow ring also in pink. The TM RDA it's on isn't new though. (Again...no hard time about the color! I have something I think will be pretty cool planned for Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October) Efest LUC V4 charger 30ml ANML Carnage 30ml Brood Redwoody 10 more Samsung 25R batteries (can never have enough batteries) 5 more cases for the above batteries (safety first)
  6. Speaking of TC... I'm eyeing that new SMOK Treebox Plus. Not so much because I need another TC mod (or any other mod for that matter), but because it looks pretty darn nice.
  7. Tedious is putting it lightly I could think of a much less politically correct way to describe it.
  8. Nobody I have seen actually has them in stock yet. Not online, not in B&M's...not even on evilBay. Several sites are taking pre-orders, though. I'll wait to see if @Christophercan get them in the VT store. Otherwise it just sits there, teasing me on the SMOKTech site...
  9. Perhaps "tunnel" would work. That thing looks big enough to drive a Mack truck through!
  10. Yep...might be time to look into a new TC mod that does SS.
  11. That's because the SS is slightly stiffer than kanthal. Not much stiffer, and I really don't notice any difference in it, but the stiffer properties help it hold it's shape better than kanthal. Yes, you would need a SS TC mod to use SS in TC mode, but you can vape SS in wattage mode on a TC mod that doesn't have SS mode or even on a mod that doesn't have TC at all. What TC mod or mods are you using @cany?
  12. One of the beautiful things about SS...you don't need TC. That's part of the reason I am switching over to it. I can bounce between wattage and TC on a whim. Almost all of my DIY coils these days are with SS. Most of my tanks have SS coils available for them (or RBA decks). I still have a lot of kanthal coils for various tanks, though. No sense in just tossing them when they vape perfectly fine.
  13. I've tried both and I my personal experience has been better flavor with SS. The SS is also less of a PITA to work with than the Ni in my opinion.
  14. I totally get that and I don't disagree at all @smacksy. My apologies if it appeared I was in disagreement. I'd be more than happy to see additional sub-forums added. That being said, I may be in the minority, but I think additional sub-forums should come from requests/suggestions by us, the members of this forum. In other words, if it's requested, such as your "Cloud Chasers" request, I'm 100% in support because that shows an interest and other members may not be as willing to suggest the sub-forum for fear of their idea being shot down. But at the same time, I don't think @Christopher should simply start adding sub-forums just for the sake of adding sub-forums when they may not get any traffic. I may be wrong, but I think a couple of the reasons he asked for input from us in the first place is because he wants to expand the forum as a whole and he realizes there is a need for additional sub-forums if for no other reason than more organization.
  15. That's true. But then I imagine VT also wants it's own identity, not to just be a copycat of another forum.
  16. Agreed. TC can be an awesome experience or it can be an absolutely frustrating experience. I went the same route with Ni200 and Ti coils in my IPV4, both pre-made coils for tanks and DIY coils for my RDA's. Ni200 was finicky because you need to many wraps to get a decent coil. I quickly gave up on Ti due to the potential toxicity involved with overheating it. SS has been awesome, though. I use SS for my DIY coils and when I can get factory coils with SS, I'm getting those as well.
  17. One step away from Darwin's Law prevailing once again.
  18. Had enough loyalty points from another vendor to order a couple more mods. I have a Lost Vape Triade DNA200 (red leather version) and a third Fuchai 213 on the way. Also ordered a new AFC for my Twisted Messes v1 RDA. The newest Fuchai 213 and the AFC are in pink . I have something planned on my new YT Channel for October (breast cancer awareness month), so in October I'll be...ummmm...Vaping for B( . )( . )BIES! . I also have something planned to support Vape Advocacy during the same month. Stay Tuned!
  19. Hi @Edna, Changing the PG/VG ratio isn't going to alter the nicotine content unless you use a base with 0 nicotine. For store bought liquids, the easiest method I have found for cutting is to cut with the exact same flavor and ratio but with 0 nic. For instance, if I had a 15ml bottle of 30PG/70VG liquid at 6mg nic, I would mix it with a 15ml bottle of 0 nic. That effectively cuts your nic in half (down to 3mg in a 30ml bottle in this example) without sacrificing flavor or vapor production.
  20. Say the word. I'll help out in any way I can on whatever you need help with.
  21. I'm in agreement with @FXRich. I see a lot of posts related to both TC devices and TC coils. I think a generalized TC subforum for folks to post questions about both devices and coils or to solicit advice is a good idea.
  22. Yes...definitely term limits. Unfortunately most member of Congress are attorneys by trade. They will make sure term limits never become a reality. 546 idiots (435 members of the House of Reps, 100 members of the Senate, 9 Supreme Court Justices, one VPOTUS and one POTUS) representing and running a country with approximately 320 million people. Something definitely askew there. Unfortunately the sheeple keep re-electing the ineffective politicians.
  23. Almost had an ASNR at "the way it feels in your mouth"... Officially had an ASNR at @Jeffb's response.
  24. I started this thread because I didn't want to highjack Christopher's "What are you vaping" thread anymore than had already been done. Maybe I'm alone in my thinking, but to me there is a difference between "wide bore" and "wide mouth" when it comes to drip tips. People tend to use the term "wide bore" to describe any drip tip that is wider than than a standard 510 base. To me, "wide bore" means anything with an inside diameter that is wider than the inside diameter of a standard 510 drip tip. Yes, some "510" drip tip bases have a slightly wider bore than others, but where I see most people using the term "wide bore" is when they describe the mouth end of the tip. The following pics are of two of my "wide bore" drip tips. The tip on the top is a SS tip from a Subtank Mmini, the tip on the bottom is a delrin tip from a TFV8 Baby Beast. This first pic shows the tips from the top, or mouth end. As you can see, the business end does indeed have a wider bore than something like a KPT tip or a Lemo tip. This second pic shows both tips from the "510" end that actually connects to the tank or RDA. As you can see, the bore is a lot smaller than the mouth end. This ultimately changes how a tip performs. Yes, the delrin tip does have a slightly larger bore than the SS tip in this particular comparison, but that isn't always the case. For the record, the ID measurements of the 510 ends and the mouth ends of each tip are as follows: SS tip 510 ID: 4.5mm; mouth ID: 7.9mm Delrin 510 ID: 5.7mm; mouth ID: 9.5mm So yes, in this case the delrin tip does have a slightly wider bore at the connector end and the wider bore is definitely going to have an effect on vape performance. In both cases, though, I consider these "wide mouth" vs "wide bore, because the full bore of the tips is not consistent all the way through. Now, by comparison, the following is a picture of the delrin drip tip from my TM RDA: This is what I consider to be a true "wide bore" vs "wide mouth" drip tip. As you can see, the bore is wide and consistent all the way through. For the record, this inside diameter is approximately 12mm. That is a HUGE difference compared to the other "510" drip tips. This is primarily for airflow and thus bigger clouds. But you can still get a ton of flavor through these as well. It's all in how you build your coils when it comes to something like that. Obviously these are only my opinions, but I think I make a pretty good argument for why we should differentiate between them. Wide mouth does not necessarily mean you are going to have more airflow when it comes to a 510 drip tip, because the flow of vapor is still ultimately going to depend on the bore of the actual 510 portion of the drip tip.
