Hell on Wheels is another awesome show I'm watching.

Tug reacted to BirdDog in True Detective
I have heard some good and bad things about True Detective. My mom couldn't get into it. It is on my list to try. Binge watching Stargate Atlantis, in the last season now. Will move onto Universe when this is done. As for current TV, Halt and Catch Fire and Mr. Robot. I like Christian Slater, I admit it.

Tug reacted to jasonculp in My take on the new iStick 40TC
I bought one of these on an impulse. I was wanting a good backup to my daily use rig at the time a Zero 60watt TC clone.
I charged it up and threw it into my backup bag. When I got to my first sales call of the day on the 13th, my Zero was getting weak. I popped out the battery and grabbed my backup bag...no batteries. I guess I left them in my office at the house...dang it.
I used the little iStick the rest of the day and was pleased.
I switched back and forth for about a week, and really seem to like the iStick the best out of the two.
There have been quite a few improvements over the 30 watt version that I had. The 510 is spring loaded still, but it seems to be a better quality. They repositioned the 510 so that a 22mm mod is flush on all sides. It is also a bit taller. Of course it also has 10 more watts of power. The button also is very solid and has a great feel
One thing that make this unique over the other TC mods is the way it works. My other mods you have to adjust wattage to keep it from bumping the temp limit, it makes for a smoother vape. When they regulate it seems to cool off and heat up when temp limiting kicks in. Granted I only have experience with the mods I have, the SnowWolf 50 watt, and the Zero clone. The iStick does temp control, like I thought it would be. It runs a full 40 watts all the time in TC, and you adjust the temp as needed. It transitions very smoothly when regulating, you never feel it in the vape. For a ~$30.00 semi-disposable mod.
If you are looking to test the water in temp control without spending much money, this thing is the way to go.

The other thing I found was this holy grail of drip tips. Double o-ring. Fits snug as ever. Nothing as sweet as a snug drip tip

Been there, done that... it's worse than finding out you have a flat tire at 5am
I'm with Tam... I try not to go less than 60ml of my ADV before buying more, or mixing more... Mixing is not an issue, because I can whip-up a batch quickly, but if I'm buying something pre-mixed (or need components for mixing), I try to order it way before I need it to allow for shipping, out-of-stocks, back-orders, etc....

Comp! You've done it again!
holy cow, this is one of the best juices I have ever vaped. I can't believe I waited this long to try it.
I'm dripping Max VG 4mg on my Doge X2 with a dual coil .5 ohm build at about 45watts. I can not put this down. It's fantastic. Smooth and flavorful with a perfect balance of peanut butter and fudge with a bakery edge. Outstanding, natural flavors. I love the fact that this juice is nearly clear with only a slight light amber tint.
Its a winner! Thanks Comp

Got my black iStick 50W and promptly put the blue flame wrap on it that came in the day before. Also in the package were two 5-packs fo 1.5 ohm coils for the Kanger Subtank mini.

Well, he didn't specify the Aspire Triton but between him and Rixter... I never stood a chance.
And yes, Earthling really is that good. Beware and guard your wallet carefully!

Tug reacted to Tam in Bump Everytime You Buy Something New
Well, so much for my so-called vaping 'budget'. Just ordered an Aspire Triton with the optional RTA deck and two 5-packs of the 1.8 ohm coil from Kidney Puncher. *sighs*
Earthling, I'm blaming YOU for getting me started on these RTAs. Still not sure if I like them or not.

Great Vape Mail day!
I got some juice from Comp, an iStick 40 watt TC, and a Velocity clone.
I was really needing some backups, PIF a SubTank mini, my last Nautilus, a iStick 20 and a Cloupor Mini last night.

^^ This ^^
I understand the desire to cater to the cloud-chasers and super-sub-ohmers, but for the other 9 our of 10 of us in the real world, we prefer a solid, single-coil option, and replaceable coil-heads in a 0.8 Ohm and higher option!
IMO, the explosion of sub-ohm tanks has saturated the market, and those noobs to vaping are not getting good options for flavor and smoking cessation... they're getting pushed into "cloud-making", and expensive gear, which is not appealing, and turns away a lot of potential vapers!
My last trip into the most well-stocked B&M locally, I was rather shocked at the selection... three cases of high-end devices, RDA's, sub-tanks, high-powered APV's, etc.... and one tiny selection of Spinners, KPT2's, Davides, Nautilus, coils, etc., and they were pushing the Kanger, Horizon, and Yocan sub-tanks HARD (along with $100+ box-mods, $20/each batteries, and $40 chargers). Yeah, it's more profit, but what is that doing for promoting vaping to noobs?
(sorry, got on a little rant there, lol)
