I'm another one that has to see that cloud of vapor to feel satisfied. It never made much sense to me, but I quit trying to figure it out. I just vape on.

I easily go through 6ml per day. Usually more. I've even gone through 12ml in a day. I vape almost non-stop most days, but it depends on what I'm doing. I can be busy doing something and notice that I haven't picked up my PV in 3 hours and I'm not craving it either. Seems strange, but then I probably always have been a bit strange. I know that when I smoked, I could not have made it over an hour without a smoke or I would have been pulling my hair out. I know because I tried it when I'd try to quit smoking. I just couldn't do it until I started vaping.

Absolutely less nic!!! The nic level doesn't have much to do with my vaping anymore. I vape a lot of 0mg and some 6mg. The coffee flavor I LOVE doesn't come that low, so I get it in 11mg. I don't vape a lot of it because I use it as my "desert" or my "treat".

I don't know if it's age or vaping, but I don't seem to get nearly as stressed as I used to. I wonder if it has to do with not having to worry about when or where I can get my next smoke. Maybe because I can vape anytime, anywhere I want to, it keeps me a lot calmer.

Tried my best friend's eVic tonight while we were out for sushi. This thing is freaking awesome. Set it for 10v and it spews out vapor like a VW Bug with no muffler. It's really cool how you can dial in the settings just the way you want. Highly recommended.

Congrats on getting off analogs!!! Myself, a 20+ year smoker, I've been off them going on 4 weeks now....and yes, I vape waaaay more than I ever smoked. So much so that the 24-26 mg liquid I started with was making me sick. Needless to say, I am now at 12mg, and happily chain-vaping to my heart's content. As long as you're off analogs, and have found your perfect nic strengths, there's never such thing as too much!! My lungs still haven't recovered to the point that a good throat hit in the morning won't send me into an asthma attack, but its getting there. I'm already looking into getting a VV device (vision spinner 1300 mAh), so I'll be able to design my perfect Vaping day. Again, Congrats on 3-days off the cigs!!!

Pick up vision spinner battery and something like a vivi nova or carto tank. you can't go wrong that way. I'd also pick up some 18mg juice and you should be in vaping heaven. also 90% of the analog craving is in your head so just tell yourself you're done when the time comes and your vaping away!

i broke out worse than a 13 year old going through puberty....then i stopped vaping PG for 4 days and my skin started clearing up. ive never had an acne problem...ever...
i dont know if its from a combination of quitting and a PG sensitivity...but im glad its over now.

im sure we will be noticing a few other things change, not just our complexions.
    isnt vaping great?

Rosy Cheeks. I received the most glorious rosy cheeks ever. I never had those before, not ever, in my life, because I smoked steadily since age 11 (and trial runs since age 7). I always envied others who had natural rosy cheeks, and now I envy ME! lol. funny, but true.

Wrinkles? Well, ... that's another story. The older I get, the more appear. mmmmm, but maybe if I changed flavors...

I have no idea about amount vs analogs but I know I go through 20-40 mls a week seems like. It varies quite a bit depending on my schedule and everything. I would expect a 10ml bottle to last a couple days if it were my all day vape. Sorry I'm not more help than that.

The way I see it is this. If I spend $200-$300 on a mod I can surly justify a $30 drip tip. Kinda like eating fine sushi on a paper plate or putting plastic wheel covers on a Ferrari. $30 is less than we spent on smoking in a week. Lol

Well, my first plunge into VV vaping was the eGo Twist, not saying anything bad about it, the Twist is a great device and I have backed eGo from the day I bought my first 510. I purchased the eGo 1000mah VV battery and I must say it was quite long! Put a big tank on it and it’s a bit oversized for me! Now on to the Vision Spinner, I bought the 1300mah VV and the Spinner is a bit different, for one thing it is a fatter battery so the length is shorter than a standard eGo 1000 batt but with more power! The size is about 112mm length by 17mm diameter. Charging time is roughly 4 hours and I vape it at 4.3 to 4.8 volts most of the time and it’s giving me around 12 hours vaping time. It also has the 5 click shut off and offers 3 kinds of protection.
Short Circuit Protection: When short circuit happens, the battery will shut down and not function again until short circuit is removed. Safety Cutoff/Atomizer Protection: If you press the button for 8 seconds, the battery will be locked until the next press. Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage is lower than 3.3v, the battery will shut down. Voltage ranges from 3.3 to 4.8 and coupled with a Vision Vivi Nova it is one nice little vaping machine. This would be a great set up for any noobie or even a vet who would like a simple no fuss VV device.

Also got my free first-time customer 15ml bottle of Ginger's RY4 (mse12 better be right about how good this stuff is, LOL), and they gave me a free 3ml bottle of raspberry. All liquids are 50/50 blend in 12mg strength. Let the steeping begin!!!

I love the Vision Spinner! While the eGo Twist is wonderful, one draw back is that it's next to impossible to see the numbers and what voltage you're vaping at. The Vision Spinner is just like the Twist but with easy to read numbers. My new 1300 Spinner is wonderful. It lasts for a loooooong time between charges.

You'll find we all have our favorite toys and we give similar yet different recommendations. I think all of the recs are pretty good for starting out. In the beginning it's good to get something that just "works" and is easy to use. Then, you'll start branching out and trying other things. The easiest for me would be a CE4 (also called a Vision Stardust), Vivi Nova/Vivi Nova Mini, or the new T3 or MT3. You just fill, wait a few minutes so the wicks can get soaked through with e-liquid and vape.

For throat hit on the juice you'll want either more nicotine and/or more PG. For more vapor you'll want the higher VG. I'd say go with a 50 PG/50 VG. The higher the nicotine you get, you'll also sacrifice a little on the flavor. If you smoke full flavor I'd suggest 18 or 24 mg of nic. If you smoked lights, 12 mg of nic. Ultra-lights, 6 mg. Just keep in mind that we all seem to vape more than we smoked so in order not to get a nicotine overdose, you'll want a lower nicotine juice for when you're chain vaping. A higher mg juice for when you're not.

There are wonderful people on this forum who will answer any question...no matter how many. Good luck!

hello Jerky! lowering the resistance has a similar effect as upping the voltage. low resistant cartos/attys make a standard 3.7v e-cig hit like a 5v. The perfect voltage/resistance is debatable. If I'm not using a variable volt device I prefer low voltage and low resistance.

Well you have a lot of really good questions and congrats on making the effort to quit. I haven't had a real cigarette in over 2 years. This really does work. It is not a gimmick. So let's get into your questions and then I'll make some recommendations. First let's talk about the difference between the eGo-T and eGo-C. The eGo-T was the 1st tank style eGo. The "T" stands for tank. The mouthpiece is the tank for the device. The cone and atomizer are built in together and screw into the battery. Inside of the cone there is a spike that pierces into the mouthpiece. The liquid goes into the spike which feeds into the atomizer. The eGo-C is the exact same system except that the cone and atomizer are separate from each other. Making replacements cheaper to buy. Now on to the bad news. Both have their flaws. The tanks are really, really small and need to be refilled quite frequently. You also can't draw on them very hard at all otherwise you get this annoying whistle and it can cause leaking. They are also known for dry hits. So what's the difference between atomizers, cartomizers, and clearomizers. Atomizers basically are a tube with a piece of silica wick at the bottom that sits in a ceramic cup. The wick is wrapped with wire that heats up and vaporizes the juice. The downside to this is you need to drip 4-5 drops on the atomizer at a time. Vape the liquid away (about 8-10puffs) and repeat the process. Not very conducive to driving and you can over drip which causes leaking. Cartomizers were created to address the constant dripping issue. It's relatively the same size tube as an atomizer and it also has a coil that heats up the e liquid but that coil is surrounded by a poly fill material that holds more juice. You can also get cartomizer tanks (often referred to as carto tanks) which is a tank that surrounds the cartomizer, the cartomizer has one or more holes in it to continually feed the poly fill inside the cartomizer. The downside is that many people find the flavor of an atomizer much cleaner than a cartomizer. Honestly not enough to outweigh it's convenience IMO. You may get a batch where a couple are bad but the good news is that they're cheap. Clearomizers are the idea of putting an atomizer inside of a tank. They do not work consistently enough for me to recommend any of them. They have all had wicking problems and one will be amazing and the next one you will have to throw away after 5 min. of using it. The atomizer can't sit on the bottom of the tank as if it's completely surrounded by liquid it's flooded and can't produce vapor. Soo you have to put it above where the juice is, but then you have the problem of getting the juice from the bottom up to where the coil is. They try to accomplish this by having long strands of wick going down into the tank. Only problem is that the whole system is fighting itself. Gravity is trying to keep the juice going downward while the wick is trying to work juice up to the coil. Resulting in dry hits. The vivi nova works the best out of all of them but you still get some that are bad out of the box. So automatic and manual batteries. Automatic batteries require you to inhale to activate. Unfortunately they aren't sealed and juice WILL eventually get down in the battery causing it to short out. Always go with a manual battery. So on to my recommendations. I would stay away from the eGo-T and eGo-C kits. I would recommend a couple eGo twist batteries, charger and carto tank. The ego twist is a lot like the standard eGo batteries except you can adjust your voltage between 3.2 to 4.8 volts. Higher voltage creates more heat and more vapor. eGo Twist starter kit I know I said to stay away from the clearomizers but the kit is cheaper than buying the batteries and charger seperately. And this way you can decide for yourself. Here's a pretty nice tank. It's made of glass as some juices react with plastic tanks. [url="[url="http://www.valleyvapes.com/Triple-V-Pyrex-4ml-Premium-Tank_p_71.html"] They also carry cartomizers on the same site. And you'll need a carto punching tool to put holes in your cartomizers. It's not the best carto punching tool but it's cheap and it'll work. [url="[url="http://www.valleyvapes.com/Cartomizer-Punch_p_15.html"] It may seem like I'm pushing valleyvapes but I'm not. Honestly never even shopped there. Was just looking for a cheap starter kit and they just so happened to have a nice carto tank setup. Just trying to save you money not having to pay shipping from 5 different places. If you need anything just PM me. Worst case scenario is we do a Skype call to make sure you're good to go. I'd say good luck but it really isn't that hard.
