These are the questions that you have to ask yourself.

    1. Do you want a juice feeder or reservoir?
    2. Are you looking for a longer battery life?
    3. Are you wanting to try a higher voltage?
    4. Will shape and size really matter?
    5. Cost. How much do you want to spend?

Think about these questions and this might help you make a decision on what you might want to try next or at least narrow it down.

Does anybody know of any wholesaler that is less expensive?

@ little pea... The 2.4 ohm is good because on a ce2 the coil is at the top so yeah in general the lr is for 3.7 only if you put a lr on a 5 volt it will pop the atty/carto so you gonna want 3.0 ohm minimum for 5v Devices also lr is not necessarly for higher mah but I wouldent use lr on a 510 stick batt, your gonna want at least a standard ego batt.

Also please don't judge the map tank based on a clearomizer as the normal ce2s have a leaking/ wicking issue because the wicks cat extend at the right angle for them to wick well, this is how the map tank came into play,,, it allows the wick to come straight out of the edges and allows the wick to send proper amount of juice to the coil, and the tank fixes the leaking issues with the way its built.

First of all what flavors are you vaping and is it PG or VG based? I am not familiar with the smoke 51 so I don't know what kind of atomizer it has. The 510 that comes with the Ego produces a much warmer vape and will also add some kick to throat hit.

Try using liquids that are VG based. I would avoid using anything with menthol or a spicy/cinnamon flavor to it. Stick with standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers. The mg amount in liquid does affect throat hit and 6mg is pretty low.

If this doesn't work for you you may want to try using the 801/302 penstyle or a 901 atomizers. These atomizers produce a cooler vape and might help you with less throat hit. You can use these on your ego but will need a battery to atomizer adapter.

I think all of that will come down to what vaping is ultimately defined as by the federal government once all of the smoke clears (maybe not the best choice of words here but oh well) from all of the court battles/appeals...

People who get nicotine inhalers from the doctor don't have to go outside to use it -- the way I see it, the only difference between their nicotine inhaler and my vapor cloud is that my cloud is visible. I'm certain that nicotine is exhaled from a person using a nicotine inhaler...

However, it wouldn't surprise me to see vaping banned indoors. After all, this is the same country where alcohol (which kills more people globally than AIDS or violence) is legal, yet smoking a joint gets you in trouble with the law. I do fear the power/influence of BigPharm and Big Tobacco more than anything, in regards to vaping.

If you are getting vapor then it is still working. If you have been vaping all day then you could just be hitting that no flavor stage for the day. As I vape throughout the day the flavor will start to drop off and I find myself searching for a stronger flavor later in the evening. If you have been mixing flavors in your atomizer that can also kill flavor sometimes.

I don't see why you can't boil them like any other carto. I wouldn't just run mine with hot water. In ANYthing containing liquid you can have the growth of bacteria...especially since you do put your mouth on it. I have been boiling the same cartos for a year....I wouldn't think it would matter. A carto is a carto.

same thing here....the vapor is heavier than the air in most places, particularly if the air is already humid....but in the SW it would be dry. But here near Chicago my vapor goes lower too. When the air is more humid and it lingers a few moments, especially in a mostly dark room it goes really low, like maybe 3 ft off the ground, regardless of where I blow it. Our detectors are less than a year old, we had to have them all replaced....a code issue. We blew into ours and it didn't do anything. I really wouldn't want any detector that would be that easily set off, I would be afraid after a few times of it going off for no reason if it ever did go off for a real reason no one would be running like I would want them to be and they should be. I would think if vaping particulates would set it off which have NOTHING to do with smoke or even heat then would air freshener set it off? Or shower steam, which at least is hot? I want a detector that warns me of REAL danger. Now we have separate carbon monoxide detectors...didn't try to set them off, but I am assuming they wouldn't go off. I wouldn't want them to, then how am I supposed to ever know when there is a true emergency? It would really worry me to have something that easily set off. Thankfully even though I vape like a lunatic I haven't set off any detectors anywhere....not in anyone's house, not in any hotel or our timeshare condo, nowhere. Those condos are still being built, they are brand new builds so I would assume they have the latest detectors, don't really know, but I haven't set them off. My son did set one off burning bacon. But then honestly, I never even considered it so I can't even say for sure where I was in relation to the detectors in various places. I just don't think of all these things. I am not doing anything I am not supposed to so I really don't think about it. Places I wasn't allowed to smoke, I didn't smoke. But the reasons for not smoking don't even apply to vaping...the stink and fire hazard in a hotel type place. So far I haven't set off anything and IF I ever do I will act like I have NO freaking clue why it went off. Too bad they don't go off from people dousing themselves in tons of stinky perfume that makes me sick. THAT would be useful!!!

I would have to know the person before I would believe that. Vapor is not smoke and vaping should no more set off a smoke detector than taking a shower would set one off. My husband and I both stood directly under our smoke/heat detectors and just continually blew clouds of vapor at it, not inhaling, just sucking and blowing and nothing happened. By the time it gets near the detector it isn't warm, and it isn't smoke at all, so I don't see how that could happen. Personally i wouldn't even worry about it. Where I vape 95% of the time I am directly underneath a smoke/heat detector and never set it off. Burning toast and various other things have set it off, but not vaping. The reason they don't want you smoking in a hotel is primarily the smell.....then non smokers don't want the room after you stink it up. The secondary reason is the fire hazard, but the primary reason is the cleaning to get rid of the smell, so I wouldn't worry about vaping at all.

My multipack of Tornado batteries came today and I have a couple happily charging. I did pop one of my 510 cartos on & gave it a quick vape, I couldn't wait, lol.

I'm wondering, does anyone here know if the cone can be used if you're using a cartomizer? I really like the look of the cone, but they look like they might be too tall to use that way. I don't want to order any if they won't work for me.

I find that throat hit is related to two things. The mg count in the juice and the flavor. Midnight to me is very smooth and doesn't have much throat hit. This is my personal opinion. However, tobacco, cappuccino and clove offer a very good throat hit for me. What mg liquid do you have and do you have other flavors than the Midnight?

BirdDog reacted to CASEACE79 in Can Taste Be Objective?
I happened on this question while reading a juice review and got upset that everyone was giving the original poster a hard time for their opinion. Is there an objectivity to taste? This idea nearly drove me crazy! I have come to the conclusion that taste is both subjective and objective.

If taste was completely subjective then why do juice reviews??? If our opinion carries no weight then why do it? To further compound the issue how would you rate or grade a juice if it was completely subjective? Something that is a 5 out of 10 to you might be a 2 out of 10 for someone else. The idea of pure subjectivity doesn't give any of those numbers substantial meaning or worth. How is anyone supposed to decide if a juice is for them if it is purely subjective?

Is taste purely objective? Of course not! We all know that. Otherwise we would all love the same thing. So taste has to be subjective then right?

Lets use food as an example since when describing taste that's what everyone has in common. Is it fair to say that the majority of us like pizza? Then wouldn't it be a safe bet to say that we could recommend pizza to anyone who hasn't tried it with a 99% certainty that they would enjoy it? Now lets take a burnt cheeseburger. When I say burnt I mean charcoal. I mean it could break a window. Could you tell someone with confidence that they will not like it with 99% certainty? With that said we now have a system where we can be objective about taste. You can say that yes that is true but there is such a wide range between the two. Yeah but the middle is much smaller. When we really like a juice its safe to say that the majority will like it? When we really dislike a juice it's safe to say that the majority will also hate it. That's why our grading system of juices works. It's the same reason we have cooking schools or restaurants that have month long reservation lists. If taste was completely subjective we wouldn't have the ry4's,Atomic Cinnacide's,Dulcis',and Bobas Bounty at the top of so many lists.

Science even proves that taste does have a level of objectivity. To understand what tastes good something must taste bad. Otherwise we have no point of reference which to base what good is. It is defined by what it is not.

Which leads me to Honey Beez debate. Yes I'm going there! Every once in awhile there comes a flavor people either love or hate. Same goes for food. Best example I can think of is sushi. Very rarely do you meet anyone that says it's just ok.

So why bring all this up? What was the point other than to make a point? To give value to our reviews and if we really like something that it is ok not to preface it with taste is completely subjective because it isn't. More importantly this message was to JUICE SUPPLIERS!!!!
I have seen a trend lately of quantity over quality and honestly I'm tired of buying juices that taste nothing like their name or description. We wouldn't except this in food and shouldn't have to in vaping.Think of it like running a restaurant and if you couldn't put it on a menu with a description that is true or couldn't put it on the menu because it doesn't meet your expectations then don't put it on the menu at all. Some suppliers understand this and have very few but very tasty juices. Vaportalk, Tasty Vapor, Alien Visions, and Vaperite should be applauded for understanding that putting out a quality product will bring people back time and time again.

So while taste can be subjective it is only subjective to a point. Without an understanding of objectivity in taste we wouldn't be able to rate juices or even be able to differentiate the difference between what tastes good or bad. Reviewers take pride in your preferences! They do mean something.I'll keep watching and trusting in what you do. Lastly to suppliers STOP making sub par juices that even you wouldn't vape. Take pride in the flavors you create. It's what defines who you are. Those who do will get my business over and over again!

You should be able to find it in your grocery store. If it is not with the other sweeteners, ie sugar and splenda, then look for it with the honey and syrup.

Although I do not have kids, I have pets and have to be concerned about my fuzzy "kids" getting at vaping stuff as well. I invested in an inexpensive and sealable shoebox sized container when I started and made sure all my vaping gear was sealed away and out of reach to all those littler than us

Having a talk to your little ones was definitely needed (big thumbs up to that )and they should be protected from e-liquid just as we protect them from any other harmful chemical they do not understand as dangerous!! I know others who use "Mr. Ick" and "Poison" stickers on their vape boxes to deter kids as well!!

    Good Luck!!

Welcome to the forum Christina. I am happy that you have an interest in ecigs. But I am not too clear why someone that has never smoked would want to take up smoking or the ecig. If you have no addiction to nicotine, then I suggest that you do not invest in ecigs. If you do choose to continue with this quest I am highly suggesting that you use non nicotine liquids. I am not familiar with the model prosmoke. The 510 is a good model. Good luck and please make your decision very carefully before choosing to start with the ecig.
