Looks like @Tam might be busy for a bit.  She is better at this kind of thing than I am but in the mean time here are a couple things to try / think about.
    1.  When you start getting that "taste" after the 20 ish hits, pop the top of the atty and check the cotton.  Specifically next to and in the coil.  Is it well saturated?  The limitless has a long distance to wick and if the cotton is too thick they can dry out a bit.  If the cotton is getting dark brown or black it is singing.  That makes for a bit of a nasty vape.
    2.  The limitless produces a lot of fog.  Do you think your mouth could be drying out?  Lots and lots of water while vaping is the answer to that.  Personally, I'm weird, diet coke does it for me.
    3.  If your wicks are cut high, are you tilting the atty long enough between vapes to allow the cotton to wick properly.
I guest last thing I can think of, which is a long shot, is this a new liquid?  It may just have an after taste that comes through after vaping a bit.

Lol, entirely possible.  The only place I see our approaches differing is that I am very reluctant to do the math and give specific answers.  There is so damn much involved with these batteries regarding safety.  We've got re-wraps out there, completely bogus specs out there.  There's battery sag, and of course that 100°C line where thermal runaway can occur.  I would much rather the person went to school the way we did and get a rounded education.

Nope, not a good idea. Listen to the wise words of @Squid, @Rixter and @Walt. They give good advice to not use the batteries you currently have. Go get three new batteries of the same make and model, it's much cheaper to do that than to pay a hospital bill.

I'm going to do you a huge favor and not answer that.  You have to understand what you are doing with a mech mod.

18650 Batteries can charge up to 4.2V and produce that when first put into a mod.  They will spend most of their life around 3.6V as that is the "nominal" voltage.  Obviously 4.2V will pull more current.  It's all about safety with a mech mod.  There are no electronics protecting the mod.

Nope, the standard first version of the Revenger.  Two 18650 series mod.  I think Vaporesso is really upping their game.
@gadget  That is one of the cutest little atties I have ever seen.  Love short atties like that.

I'm impressed with this one.  Very comfortable in the hand.  Comparable to the G Class in size.  Sweet rocker style fire button.  Sleek understated aesthetic.  TC that rivals Yihi and DNA.  350 puffs at~ 2.5sec, 400°F, .5Ω build.

Einstein's theory comes to mind, the more mass you have the more energy you need to heat it.

I got 11 watts, but you have to consider its only about 42 mm of wire compared to 200 mm of wire for a 1.2 coil made of the same wire. Takes more power to heat 200 mm of wire than what it takes to heat 42 mm.
You would be better off using 24g 316L for a .25 coil.

I thought about listing names but God forbid I should miss one.  And it was not only those who gave me advice directly, but those also who wrote to this forum that offered so much support.  I don't want to make it sound like a struggle because it wasn't.  It was pure joy.  But there were soooooo many questions over the past year: coil resistance and wattage, how do I stop this thing from spitting at me?, Pg and Vg in the freezer?, magnetic mixer?, backpack, bag, case?,  on and on and on.  Oh and of course spending my money for me, but wisely!  I never even dreamed this could happen.  One full year without smoke.  I can even shovel the driveway without coughing till I can't stand up.  This year has been a drink from a fire hose.  From an EGO AIO to a hybrid mech mod with a .23Ω parallel clapton build and DYI Smuf Cake.  TC Squonk with a DNA drone.  I had no idea what these things even were a year ago.
But more than all that, the friends I've made here!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Congrats. After almost 6 years of vapong, I have just cut my subohm tanks to 1.5mg, and my ohm-plus tanks to 4ishmg. Working toward that 0mg goal slowly.

Looks real sharp to me.  Glad you got a lot of "take home" experience though.  I think about learning new joining configurations in wood working.  Oh my.  A lot of wasted wood and some hair loss.   But once all the techniques are down, some damn nice results.

Personally if you want to get into that high of a power range I recommend that you learn to build your own coils and use a rebuildable atty.  Commercial coils are simply unreliable at high power.  They can be pretty "hit and miss".

So you go back to the same post and write a comment that your question wasn't resolved. Someone else may come by to give you a different answer. As you can see above, a different member came by and asked some questions that were already asked and answered in your first post. Instead of having answers all over the place in several different posts and having the same questions asked over and over, it's best to keep it all in one post so you can keep going forward instead of in circles.

It's all about matching the power to the coil.  I can get just as much fog from 40 watts as 90 watts.  Like @tam said.  It's all about finding the "sweet spot" for the coil.
