I can very easily seeing it going to a black maraket system just like prohibition in the United States in the 1920's.  I speak to a number of people almost daily, certainly weekly, who are already prepared to obtain the ingredients to make their own e-liquids should e-liquids and refillable tanks be banned.  I'm prepared to do the same.  This is the first method I have tried that successfully kept me off of analogs and I'll be damned if I'm going to go back to supporting Big tobacco in any method.
I know this is an older thread, but since it has been resurrected, there are some other things I think lobbying/advocacy related some members may not be aware of.
I saw a comment regarding lobbyists, CASAA and CASAA not having a presence here on the forum.  We may not have an actual CASAA presence, but we do have CASAA members.  I think Comp is a CASAA member (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).  I'm a CASAA member.  There may be other CASAA members.  I certainly won't speak for any other VT members who may be also be CASAA members, but for me, any member with a legitimate advocacy idea is more than welcome to PM or message me and I'll do what I can to get those ideas out there.  I mostly use social media in the form of Instagram and occasionally Facebook, but just this past week I registered a web domain name and have secured web hosting for an advocacy website...not lobbying, just advocacy.  Now I just need to start building the site.
In addition to CASAA, there is also the AVA (American Vaping Association), The Vaping Militia and Not Blowing Smoke who are dedicated to vape advocacy and vapers' rights, small businesses and even lobbying to an extent.  Not Blowing Smoke was originally formed as a reaction to California's "Still Blowing Smoke" campaign, but I they are doing what they can to take their message and provide support nationally.  CASAA shares a lot of "Calls to Action" for each state and the FDA, but I think their primary focus is on the FDA.  The AVA has interests on both a state and federal level. 
In addition to those groups dedicated to vapers' rights, there is SFATA, the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association.  They represent manufacturers of devices, e-liquids, distributors, B&M's and to an extent, consumers.  There is also AEMSA, the American E-liquid Manufacturing Standards Association.

Yea I've got a couple surface tablets here at the house that are great. Even better it has kids mode so I can let the kids do their thing without worrying about them breaking anything. (other than the screen)

Ive been vaping for over two years.  I can honestly say at this point I can feel no bad effects from vaping. In fact, I would say in general I feel better than I ever have after smoking for over 25 years.
there is a lot of bad information being put out about vaping that is false and its purpose is to frighten off new people to vaping. Honestly, my opinion is vaping is not a totally healthy activity but is on the order of thousands of times less harmful than smoking cigarettes.

The general attitude from people is to hate the " Smoker " as a person, not the cigarette or the tobacco company like in the old days... people don't even understand how hard is to quit smoking... or they don't care....I tried a million things to try to quit smoking, and vaping is the only thing that truly works.

I honestly a bit stupid with it...I have both options available, but I rather endure the nasty dry hits because I like the looks of the Stainless tank better..a bit sadomasochistic.
 
 

I really like cereal flavored and milk in the morning. It makes my milk taste very creamy without all of the extra calories.

All but one of my Russians have the poly-tank section in place, but my ADV is fairly clear... so a full tank and empty tank look the same if you just glance at them.
I know what you mean about the all-steel bodied ones... you can tell when you're getting low because you start to get dry hits on the end of the drag, but if you forget to fill it up, you can get some nasty hits... still not nearly as bad as vaping fresh, dry cotton

Clouds of vapor will always be seen as clouds of smoke.  for me personally i vape where ever i want.....out in the open when available and permitted....super ninja when not. People standing or sitting next to me have no idea. 
However, standing in line at Disneyland, the person behind me couldn't figure out why they kept smelling pancakes(maple syrup) 🙀. 

Talking to people doesn't always work... sometimes I feel like a preacher trying to convert people to the church of the magic stick... People looks at you like you're  some weirdo blowing evil white smoke out of your mouth... something like this ;

Most of the time I have water or beer while I vape, but there are a couple of flavors I like with very specific drinks.
My ADV, which is a lemon & menthol blend from a local B&M goes really well with a drink I like to call a "Tennessee Twister" - Monster Rehab Tea & Lemonade flavor with a shot of Jack Daniels.
Then there is PBFB from Fadora.  For my taste buds, that pairs surprisingly well with a nice, cold Guinness (or just about any other stout).

I hope you feel better soon.😏 Don't let this put you off..vaping still is a lot better than smoking, if anything this shows how safe vaping normally is.

I think the original 20 Istick and tank I had must have really malfunctioned and spilt lots of burning liquid into my mouth. Not good kids. Almost put me off vaping for good. Thanks for all the help and advice guys 

One of the good things is that vaping in the UK is starting to be self-regulated, shops don't sale any crap and they have a good knowledge.... in fact I only trust my local vaping shop, and I won't buy from any other place.

Well you'd hope that's the case but unfortunately there are places out there that sell any old junk. Our liquids have to be labelled in a certain way by law now (CLP) and that includes imports, however the stores I have been in recently still sell non compliant liquids.

Honestly  easy enough to buy liquid  caffeine  and it does mix  well with e liquid, the end caffeine result  isn't  worth much, can't make the mix strong enough for the caffeine  to be of any use. Plus the whole issue of not being processed  well by the lungs. I gave up the experiment .  

Well put Kit... at max strength (for e-liquid), before the nasty Caffeine taste took over... you'd get the equivalent of a 1/6 cup of coffee or two good drinks of cola... in three ML of e-liquid... which means it is not worth the effort to put it in.  Just enjoy your Caffeine in coffee, tea, or cola... and enjoy your flavors and Nicotine in your vape!

i have used used a tongue scraper, toothbrush and mouthwash and my Tongue looks a little better. Any ideas? :S

It's not the iStick that actually causes it... yes, at higher heat, the nicotine absorbs into the body faster, but from the look of the blisters and staining, my belief is the juice is 80% of the issue.
Even regulation won't stop a device from behaving this way... the chip-set on the iStick 20 is MEAN, not RMS output... THAT is the issue with it, and I think the chip does not accurately gauge the resistance of the coll, either... They're just cheaply made, IMO!

At this point I think some topics that will engage discussion would be good for the forum and bring activity levels back up where we used to be. For a lot of us, our questions have been answered and we have answered the same ones about a thousand times. I know that is the purpose of the forum in the most basic explanation and we will keep doing this BUT I think some ideas I like  would be
