  1. You might think about getting a different tank for it, I looked it up and it uses a standard 510 connection. If you want a small tank a Kanger Subtank Nano comes to mind, and the coils are available almost everywhere vape stuff is sold.
  2. Better watch out Walt, the vape police will get you. I don't believe there is a law yet about giving it away, but you could do like me and a few others here, give it away, but not turn down donations.
  3. You are right about the TC and low ohms, I run a SS .5 to .8 coil with TC except for the 160w dripbox with that I run dual SS .8 coils that meter at .4, and get a cool to warm vape using the TC set at about 370 degrees. BTW I run a Hemi in my Dodge, and can get 26 mpg on a road trip if I keep my foot out of it, but its in a Magnum and not a Ram, much lighter car. But when passing the gas gauge moves almost as fast as the speedometer. Kind of like a mod when you turn the watts up and the battery don't last as long.
  4. The 160w dripbox has a NiCr TC mode for Nichrome coils, you could use the TC temp to get a cooler vape. Other than that play with the watts until you get the vape you want.
  5. You could check out the Vapor Talk store, they may not have the lowest prices on the net, but they have great customer service. An added bonus to buying stuff from the V/T store is if something is not right you can complain to Chris, and he'll make it right.
  6. @Tam Let me know how that works out for you, just because it works for me don't mean it will work for someone else. We all have different tastes.
  7. For a long time I used a 30PG/70VG mix, after awhile that seemed to get harsh, and hot. Recently I have been using a 20%PG/70%VG/10%distilled water, and the vape is not harsh or hot anymore, distilled water will make the juice thinner it has a consistency of a 50/50 mix. Also adding water to the mix lowers the temp needed to vaporize the juice, and makes the vape cooler, kind of like when you add water to antifreeze, it lowers the boiling point. Adding water will also reduce the watts needed to vaporize the juice. I'm not saying everyone should add water to their juice, just saying what worked for me, some people like a harsh vape with a lot of throat hit, but not me.
  8. The Kanger toptank mini, and subtank mini both come with a very easy to use single coil RBA, or a drop in coil can be used when not wanting to mess with the RBA. I have drop in coils for my Toptanks, and Subtank mini tanks, but very rarely use them.
  9. A lot of people here use 100mg nic in either a PG or VG base, I prefer using a VG base. For a 30ml 6mg mix you would need to add 1.8ml of 100mg base. You will need a good juice calculator, a lot of people consider ejuicemeup to be the best, it can be found here http://www.kritikalmass.net/calculators.asp there is a lot of recipes there too. Have fun with DIY juices.
  10. There is a small piece that comes with the dripbox RDA that fits into the top cap. Did you try putting it in place, it stops the spitting. I had the same problem until I put the piece in place, the instructions say its for MTL vaping, but works great for direct lung vaping. Since then I have gone to a Aspire Quad flex RDA and it works much better. The way its designed its hard to squonk it too much, the excess will drain back down into the bottle.
  11. Looks like you traded analogs for shinyitus, good trade.
  12. From what I have read about it, it has a 510 connection so you should be able to put just about any tank or RDA on it.
  13. The 2 - 3 day battery life I mentioned was kind of misleading, I use 6 different mods, plus 2 subvods. Each with a different flavor. I switch flavors often, if I were to use the 160w Kbox exclusively it would probably last no more than 1 day. I use LG HG2 batteries in all my mods, so the battery life would depend on what batteries you use. You will also have to add the cost of the batteries to the price of the mod.
  14. The nice thing about the Kbox 160 is the paint will never come off. I use mine daily and it lasts 2 - 3 days using TC mode with .6 SS coils. it will fire down to .05 ohms, but I don't feel a need to go that low. It is a very good mod.
  15. I have 2 of them, one is still in the box, but the one I do use works great.
  16. Sometimes I use a mini crock pot, we got it as part of a set and until now didn't have any use for it. I think it was intended to be used for fondue or something like that.
  17. V2 and V3 has the set screw. The only difference between V2 and V3 is the holes are a little higher in V3, and V3 comes with the top tank mini.
  18. Yes they are V2, pic on Mt Baker shows V1, guess you can't always go by the pics that's posted by the retailer. V1 had wicking problems, I fixed mine by milling the slots bigger, and now they wick fine.
  19. The only reason I mentioned the original RBA is that is what the pic on Mt Baker showed. (they need to update the pic) They are a good tank, I use mine daily.
  20. That is a good deal, even if they come with the first version of the RBA. I did notice that the VT store has the original version of the Subtank Nano for $15, if I didn't already have a couple still in the box unopened I would order a couple of them. I'm not sure if Kanger still makes the subtank mini, or the nano, I think they are only making the top tank mini and top tank nano now, but I could be wrong. (been wrong before)
  21. Another possibility, depending on where you bought your juice at. some vape shops mix their own juice, if the person that mixed the juice has a cold your juice might have been contaminated, not saying that did happen, but its possible.
  22. Could just be a coincidence, or maybe you are having a reaction to the PG or some other ingredient. Some people don't handle PG very well, and it seems the reactions can vary.
  23. I don't have a RX200 so I don't know if the initial watts can be set in TC or not, some mods you can set the initial watts in TC and some you can't, depends on the manufacturer. My highest wattage mod goes to 160w, but I know in TC it doesn't start there.
  24. I use 28g SS316 and get .6 using 6 wraps on 3mm, maybe you could try 26g might work out better for you, the biggest drawback to SS wire is its a lot lower resistance than Kanthal or Nichrome.
  25. I use Kanger TC mods, I have done a little research on the reason why the initial watts can't be set. Rumor has it that the initial surge is at a certain set voltage rather than a set wattage, which makes sense if you think about it. I normally run about a .6 SS 316 coil in my Subtank Mini tanks if the initial surge uses 3.7V its using 23W, if it uses 4.2V it uses about 30W, I don't know how Kanger regulates the initial surge, and I doubt that they will tell me so I have to go by rumors.
