  1. It won't move as long as the a coil is in the base, like I said it happened to me before, and will probably happen again. these so called spring loaded mod pins loose pressure over time and don't have enough spring left in them to push the pin in the base against the coil. Coils seem to vary in length and a little bit can make a difference. Could be something else too, just thought I might mention the base pin.
  2. I don't have a TFV4, so don't really know how they go together, but they are probably very similar to most other subtanks, the coil doesn't actually contact the mod pin there is a pin in the tank base that makes contact between the coil and the mod pin. sometimes this pin needs to be pushed up into the base before putting in a new coil so it can make contact with the coil when the coil is screwed into the base. I had this happen a few times, and its a easy fix. just remove or back the coil off a little and push the pin in the base in, and retighten the coil. sometimes you have to pull the pin in the mod up a little also.
  3. Back when I was using the original RDA on a Dripbox I would hold the barrel with one hand, and use my other thumb to push on the coil posts, it came right off. Now I use a Aspire Quad-Flex RDA on the dripbox, and all works well, Tried a Tsunami RDA, but that didn't work that well because I kept squeezing the bottle too much, and juice would come out the air intake holes. Looking forward to using trying a earth globe on it, but don't know if Chris is going to stock them.
  4. If you add that 10ml to 90ml of VG you would have 100ml of 100mg base, much safer to work with, or you could mix it with 190ml of VG, and get 200ml of 50mg base. Doesn't matter much if you add it to VG or PG.
  5. I did read someplace that nicotine is a brain stimulant, you better vape more to stimulate your brain so you can remember.
  6. According to their website they don't have purple (yet) The blue one would look nice on my 160w Dripbox. If it doesn't come with a squonk pin I can make one.
  7. They have this one too If they came with a squonk pin I might order one, maybe Chris will stock them.
  8. Using 24g instead of 22g you will need less wraps. Less wraps mean less wire to heat up using the same ohms, you may notice your coil will heat up faster.
  9. From the pictures I have seen of the mini-c tank, it appears that the coil fits inside a hole bored into the base, the OCC being a square coil probably will not fit in the base. Putting a square peg in a round hole normally don't work.
  10. I'm always checking for missing screws before dumping the water out, now I tighten all the screws before giving them a ultra sound bath.
  11. sometimes there are 2 screws because 1 is to fill the hole so you don't shear the wire when tightening the other one. The better quality velocity decks only have 1 screw because the hole don't go all the way through.
  12. If you go here you can see the weights of ejuice components, https://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/2iq3km/botboy141_guide_to_mixing_by_weight/
  13. What juice calculator are you using? I use ejuicemeup which gives the amounts in ml, drops, or grams, but to use the grams function you have to weigh your ingredients.
  14. I was mistaken it reads down to .1 grains which is 0.006 gram, I said .5 because that's what I use mostly for reloading.
  15. You could try a reloading scale, mine weighs down to .5 grains, which is about 0.03 grams. I find it is simpler to just use a syringe to measure with. My smallest syringe is 3ml which has .1 ml marks. I don't have a 1ml syringe I suppose they might have .05 or maybe .01 marks. When measuring with a syringe I don't try to suck it up into the syringe, I pull the plunger out and cap the end, then hold it needle down and use it as a measuring vial. The needle probably has some capacity, but I don't worry about it.
  16. I build my Subtank mini RBA decks with a SS .5 coil, and get good flavor and good cloud, better than the factory .5 coil. I rebuild my Kanger OCC coils with a .8 kanthal coil, and get good flavor, the factory 1.2 coils give good flavor, but not much cloud, the .5 OCC factory coils give more cloud than the 1.2, but less flavor.
  17. Personally I never had a reason to weigh juice. I do know that VG is more dense and weighs more per ml than PG, how I know this is when mixing juice the PG will sit on top of the VG until I shake it up to mix it. What you might have to do is weigh a ml of PG to see how much it weighs, and do the same for your other ingredients.
  18. Looks a little like my Coffee mix. 5% Café Coffee FW 3% Bavarian Cream FW 3% French Vanilla FW
  19. Generally the higher the resistance the better the flavor. The TFV8 has 8 1.2 ohm coils. A single .15 coil won't give the same flavor as single 1.2 coil, when you get 8 1.2 coils firing at once you get a lot of cloud, and a lot of flavor.
  20. After rereading your post I don't know if the tank you are using is a mini-c tank or a subtank nano, you mentioned subox nano which is a mod. The nano tank can use the OCC coils but the mini-c tank can't.
  21. The SSOCC coils are round, and the OCC coils are square. There are 2 types of OCC coils, vertical and horizontal, the horizontal have been discontinued by kanger, but can be obtained from Fastech, and a few other places. I think the horizontal give better flavor, but just my opinion.
  22. Kanger KBox 60w Features: Wattage Range: 7 - 60w Minimum Resistance: 0.1 ohm Zinc Alloy Construction Spring Loaded 510 connection OLED Display Temperature Control Uses a single High Drain 18650 battery Magnetic Battery Door Low Voltage Protection Over Discharge Protection Short Circuit Protection Over Heating Protection Micro USB port for charging (not recommended) Some people confuse the Topbox Nano with the Kbox Nano, even some retailers. This is a paste and copy from a add for a Kbox Nano, notice the TC.
  23. Is it a subox Nano or a Topbox Nano? The only difference is the Topbox Nano is top fill, and TC. If it is TC, if you hit the fire button 3 times it will change modes, similar to the old days of hitting the fire button 5 times to turn it on or off.
  24. The coil on the left is for a crown 1, and the coil on the right is for a crown 2.
  25. Sometimes they get more preorders than they receive items to fill the preorders. I did preorder once (not from VapeNW) ended up using store credit to buy something else. Now I won't preorder anything.
