  1. I mix my own juice, about 6 months ago I got a 4 oz bottle of cheesecake, only tried it once. I mixed a batch of cherry cheesecake, the cherry flavor I got is a coil killer so I didn't mix it again, maybe I'll try mixing it straight or with another flavor. I have some grape flavoring that I never tried, maybe I'll try that soon, been thinking about mixing grape and bubblegum.
  2. If they go by your medical records it might make a difference. According to my Dr's nurse vaping is the same as smoking, but my Dr says its not, so my medical records say I don't smoke. Depends on the paperwork I suppose.
  3. My idea to use a welding helmet lens over the camera lens didn't work very well, but the sun did cause my electronic helmet to trigger so I was able to see the eclipse just fine, but no pics. I can always download pics from the net, but don't feel a need to.
  4. Actually I took the lens out of the helmet, and taped it over the lens of a camera, so I will be viewing it through the camera which will offer a little more protection. At this point I don't think I can find a protective lens for the camera, My electronic helmet has a # 12 lens, but don't know if it will trigger during a eclipse. The camera I'm using is a wireless web cam that I thought I would never use when I won it in a contest. All I need now is a remote control tripod which isn't going to happen.
  5. VG and PG are water soluble, some people use distilled water to thin juice.
  6. I always get 100mg nicotine in a 100% VG base, but everyone has their own preferences. Whether you prefer a high VG content or a high PG content will determine which you should get.
  7. I'm suppose to be in the 100% area or close to it, depending on how accurate their forecasts are. Don't need eclipse glasses, got a old welding helmet with a #10 lens to see it with. I would use a new welding helmet but it is a electronic helmet and not sure how well it will work.
  8. That was back in the early 80s, long time ago. GF at the time worked at the place that made the cop lights. I sometimes hung out at a place on the south end of Pueblo called the silver saddle or something like that. Hard to remember back that far. Had to sometimes wear special high topped boots when working at the depot because of the rattlesnakes, I remember all the antelope too, place was full of them.
  9. CORRECTION The depot is east of town, not south, and Colo City is farther from the depot, but was a much nicer place to live.
  10. I lived in Pueblo for a little over a year while doing some work at the Army depot just south of town, actually I lived in Colorado City which is closer to the depot, and I remember the crowds at the fair. After thinking about it I don't think I would like people camping on my property, and leaving a big mess behind for me to clean up.
  11. We went to town today it was the worse traffic I have ever seen, even worse than LA traffic. Not going anywhere until Tuesday or Wednesday, going to hibernate until then. I heard that motel rooms in town are going for $500 - $1000 per night. Central Oregon is supposed to be the best place to view the eclipse, but it sure messes with the locals. If I would have had a little foresight I could have advertised tent space for $100 for the weekend, can fit a lot of tents on 5 acres.
  12. Most DIY people here order Nic base from either Wizard Labs or Heartland vapes, both are located in the US. I don't know how the import laws are in Canada so I can't be any help there, but Chris probably knows.
  13. I did a little research on the subject, and found in certain areas of Australia it is legal to import juice with nicotine for personal use https://www.vapingmad.com.au/e-cig-nicotine-laws/ Don't know if the info is up to date or is even correct. I guess its the same as here, depends which state you live in.
  14. I'm not familiar with your laws, but my nephew lives in Perth, he doesn't vape but if he wanted to get nicotine I suppose a relative here could ship him some, and it would probably get through OK. Your best bet would be to find a private person willing to ship you some, because I doubt you will find a retailer willing to ship some to you. When something becomes illegal it creates a black market. I don't know if they have nicotine sniffing dogs, but other than that there isn't a way to catch it unless they open the package and test it.
  15. I haven't used a factory drop in coil for well over a year, but back when I did use factory coils I did notice that sometimes the cotton would be packed too tight. When the cotton is too tight the wick can't absorb the juice as well, and I would get a burnt taste. I am assuming the coils are made using a automated process, being someone that is familiar with automated machinery I can say sometimes the settings on the machinery may not stay consistent. Having the cotton too lose would cause the coil to leak, so I am also assuming that the manufacturer probably prefers to error on the cotton being too tight rather than having the cotton too lose and leak. Just my opinion, which doesn't mean much.
  16. There are some diabetics here on VT, maybe one of them would be more helpful, and for your sake I hope I'm wrong.
  17. I wonder if it will ever get to SCOTUS, their word will be final, no appeals from there,
  18. Have a relative that had what you described, but they had pins and needles in their legs and feet. he didn't vape. but it turned out he was diabetic. Not saying that is the problem, but high VG juice is said to raise your blood sugar, and if you are borderline diabetic it could cause problems. Maybe you should get it checked out.
  19. Lately I prefer 70%VG/20%PG/10%distilled water, hope you don't find that confusing.
  20. Maybe the coils in the video were higher resistance coils, I have noticed when dry burning with a mod the higher the resistance the faster they fire up.
  21. I noticed that in the other link, it was extended from 2018 to 2022, gives manufacturers another 4 years. the way I read it they just might drop a lot of the rules during that time.
  22. I have some LGhg2 batteries that are over 2 years old, and still going strong. maybe they are discharged to the point where the mod thinks they are bad, possibly a dedicated charger will bring them back. You probably need some new spares anyway, and a charger.
  23. Seen this on the net, and thought I would post a link. https://www.theverge.com/2017/7/28/16060670/fda-low-nicotine-cigarettes-vape-e-cigs-regulation
  24. Ni80 can be used in TC on some mods, but not on others. I have several mods that have a NiCr mode that does well with Ni80 using TC. Ni200 is pure nickel, and Ni80 is a nickel chrome alloy 80% nickel 20% chrome.
  25. I feel sorry for you Bebop, back in 94 we bought some property, built a house and swore we would never move again. I hate moving, don't want to do it ever again.
