Fadora Vapor has the absolute best customer service and communication with customers. I have never encountered the heights of communication and service to the customer that they have shown, not just on the current order but on every order I have placed with them.  Thanks Comp, you're the best!

Squid got a reaction from Bebop in Rebuilding Kanger OCC horizontal Coils
I don't build my own coils or rewick currently, but I like the Kanger .5 ohm coils. I like them as long as I pluck the cotton out of the juice holes a bit with a pin before I install them that is. I have found that the cotton is packed in too tight from the factory and the juice doesn't wick fast enough unless I pick the wick (rhyme not intended). I typically run them around 35 watts on the subbox, and really close to that on my istick 50W and my IPV4S with a subtank mini or plus. I am using Comp's juices at 40PG/60VG.
I am curious to see answers and your results because I just got some 316SS and am getting ready to try building on the subtank deck, and it looks as if the 2 builds would be similar, I have the V2 RBA.

I have the V4, and occasionally use the 2amp feature when I am in a hurry, 2 18650s will fully charge in and hour to hour and a half when starting from 3.2 volts. Comes in handy when I get up for work and realize the pair in my IPV4s is dead and I won't have a spare set to take with me for the day if I don't charge the dead ones before I leave for work. Guess I need a couple more sets to marry up for it, but the 2amp setting is getting me through for now. I usually use the .5amp setting though.

Squid got a reaction from Bebop in Vape for life? When is it time to give it up?
I have been vaping since March of 2009, and have been contemplating this issue as well. I recently quit buying 12mg juice for my non-subohm tank, and using the 3mg and 4mg juice for the subs in the regular tank. I use a Nautilus mini on a VTR all day at work, 1.6ohm coil. The first couple days saw the juice go quick, but I returned to normal juice volume pretty quickly. My next order I may get 2mg and see how that goes. I have to admit, not having the worry of having batts and juice with me every time I leave the house seems nice. Having to check and be sure all the stuff is there is starting to remind me of checking the cig pack to see if I had enough for the day at work, or for the night at home. A couple weeks ago, when I left all my spare coils at home when I went out of town was way more stressful than it should have been. I enjoy vapng still, but lately it is seeming to be the same monkey on my back that cigs were, and I am not sure I want to be carrying it around any more. My biggest fear is that cigs are so easy to get, and I definitely don't want to go back to them. I'm sure I'll be carrying the VTR around with me for quite a while, even if it's just there to prevent a cig purchase.

Good points, I have the iStick 50 watt too, it is a solid unit as well. I suggested the subox (meaning the kit) as it comes with both the .5 and the 1.2 ohm coils, plus the build deck. I prefer the subox when not at home as I can carry a couple extra 18650s. The iStick only lasts me a few hours with a .25 coil running at 40 watts or so. I have found I like certain tanks on each mod, and didn't think of mixing. Kind of set in my ways, lol.

TugBoat, not trying to hijack your thread, but I figured there was no use in having 2 threads for the same topic.
Got mine this morning, UPS said weather delays.....
Opened up the box, and disassembled the tank as soon as it arrived.
Noticed that the airflow base did not want to unscrew easily from the tank. Wiped the treads with a clean cloth and got a lot of black gunk. Proceeded to clean the threads with a qtip and alcohol, followed by a warm water rinse once the qtip was clean after a swab of the treads. Dried it with the wife's hair dryer, didn't want to wait for air dry. No big deal really, just needed to be cleaned.
Swapped out the installed .5ohm coil for the 1.5 ohm, and tried to reassemble. No go, the threads wouldn't engage properly, swapped back to the .5 coil, same issue. Pulled the coil out and the tank threaded together fine. After messing with it for 10-15 min, I found that if I backed the coil out about 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn from tight it would screw together no problem. I am guessing that either the chimney or the airflow base isn't machined quite straight. No big deal as long as the juice doesn't leak past the o-ring under the coil, but not the highest quality control I have seen.
Loaded the tank up with a 70VG/30PG juice, and let it sit for about 30 min as I forgot to wet the wick before filling.
After an hour and a half or so driving around running my Saturday morning errands vaping this set up, I have to say I am quite impressed with the flavor and vapor production. It has better flavor than the Nautilus mini (different juice I admit, but the Nautilus doesn't seem to like the 70/30.) and has a thicker cloud. The flavor is just as good as with the Starre tank, but with a whole lot less cloud, running the same juice. Not really surprising going from .5 ohm at 35-40 watts to 1.5 ohm at 15 watts.
After running up and down the scale from 10 to 25 watts and changing the airflow setting around quite a few times, I have settled on 15watts on the middle air flow. Higher watts on the big hole for airflow does make bigger clouds without tasting burnt, but I got this to try and find a happy middle with the cloud production between the Nautilus mini and my Starre subohm tank. This hit the nail on the head for that.
I have not tried the RTA setup, and probably won't for some time unless someone comes and splits all my firewood for me.
Overall after a couple hours of use, I'd give the subtank mini a 3.5 out of 5 stars due to the wonky fitment of the tank parts.  And the subbox mini 4.75 out of 5, because the battery door is longer than the box itself (only .020"-.030") and I caught the longer edge on my pocket and knocked the cover off, and the ohm reading isn't spot on with the coil installed, showing 1.6 for the 1.5. Granted I have yet to personally see any box read perfect. Other than that the box works as advertised.

Cesar, you leaving is your choice, not ours.
That being said, and without taking this whole debacle into consideration (which I don't actually fault you for), I don't think I'm the only person you have rubbed the wrong way in these forums almost from the day you joined.  For me it was never about your grammar.  I can easily overlook that.  For me it was the way you continuously and consistently stated your opinion on various topics in a manner that made it sound like it was your way or the highway, like your opinion is the only correct opinion.  You never have seemed to grasp the concept that every vaper is unique.  Each of us has our own preferences in APV's or unregulated devices, each of us has our own preferences in tanks or RBA's, each of us has our own preferences in how much airflow we like, each of us has our own preferences in how warm or how cool we like our vaping experience to be, each of us has our own preferences in nicotine strength, each of us has our own preferences in flavors, each of us has our own preferences in PG/VG ratio.  Basically, each of us has our own "sweet spot", another concept you have never seemed to grasp, (if you have, it hasn't been apparent).
Speaking only for myself, I think many of your posts would have been better received if you simply added these four simple words to them: "my personal preference is...".
Good luck on those other forums.  If you think this one is full of "idiots" and the others aren't, you're in for a big surprise.
