I've been re-packaging my older MODs and putting them away for a rainy day... yes, I save the boxes they came in for re-packaging and possible re-sale .  They'll be my back-ups should my primary Wismec/Kanger/Cloupor MODs bite the dust (and I can't replace them thanks to FDA regs).  Should I eventually quit vaping, I'll have plenty of premium MODs, tanks, RTA's, RDAs, MECHs, and other supplies I can easily sell for retail or possibly higher... which would mean I've been vaping for free all this time
I'll probably pick up a few more MODs, tanks, and coils for the SO and myself, over the summer... yeah, the regs won't mess with product availability any time soon, but I'd rather have them and not need them, than need them and not have them... same mantra for firearms

I use my NEBOX all day, everyday (I lost one today...I hope it turns up!)  With the Samsung 30Q or the HG2 I can go most of the day at 25 watts. With a HE4 or 25R I can get nearly through work.  I also charge my batteries on a separate charger, it does a much better job than the internal battery.  I personally carry 4 spare batteries, and 2 spare mods in my laptop bag so I never am left without something to vape.
I agree with the previous poster on the RX200, it is heavy, but comfortable and if you keep 3 batteries charged, and 3 in the mod, it just takes seconds to change them.
You might go to a local vape shop and handle a few dual 18650 mods such as the Cuboid, ipv, iStick, and the Kangars and see which one feels the best in your hand.  I am sure there are some other ones out there that have an internal battery, but I just don't keep up with them.  I have over 2 dozen batteries and for me I would much rather charge on them outside a mod, and they are so quick and easy to change.

Something tells me they aren't done with the rule changing yet, I believe our only hope is Congress or the courts, and I don't see congress acting on it until after the election, and most of the time these things take years in the courts. We have to have some patience, and wait to see what happens.

    Congratulations Tam!
You (and quite a few others here) have been the only reason I have made it as long!
I have always been an internet lurker.  I never was one to post.  I would just read until I found out the answers, or figured it out on my own.  The help and kindness you have shown others, led me to become part of this family.
    Thank you!

For a built-in battery, the iStick 50W is a beast, with 4600mAh, so it will easily last all day, and most people get 3-5 days out of a full charge, depending on how they use it.
For long lasting 18650's, the LG HG2 and Samsung 30Q are both 3000mAh batteries, and would last a very long time for "normal" vaping, lol.  On my single-battery mods, running 16-20W, a single HE2 (2500mAh) lasts me all day, to a day-and-a-half, and a single HG2 (3000mAh) will last two full days (usually longer)  On my one dual-battery mod... I get 3-4 days out of a pair of HG2 and easily two days plus, out of a pair of HE2.

... I picked up my first e-cigarette. It was an eGo 650 mAh topped off with a CE4 that was quickly replaced the next week with a T2 (short wick) that had just come out. Four days after that, I gave up the analogs altogether. Fast forward six months and I discovered Vapor Talk. The friendly and knowledgeable folks here helped my new found obsession grow. More friendly folks also worked hard to help me spend my money on new shiny things.
With all the support and fun on Vapor Talk, four years have passed. I want to thank you all for making the journey so much fun!

You're welcome. I just took over a hefty share of Vapor Talk after many years, so you'll see my face around here again quite often. We need to dust this place off a bit.

I have been listening and reading all kinds of information about the FDA Deeming Regulations. We have known since the beginning that regulation was going to happen, we just didn't know when. T he FDA regulation was set up to protect the consumer, not to harm you. The rules are meant for the suppliers and manufactures.
The first thing I am going to tell you is NOT TO PANIC! The vaping world is not ending in 90 days. But I do suggest that you start planning on how you are going to handle what will be happening in the next 3 years.
Some of the changes you will see in 90 days will be no free samples, contests or giveaways. Shops will not be able to have juice bars or be able to make coils for customers. Eliquid labeling will be changing and no new products will be released. Basically, the industry is going to become stagnant. What you see now is what we will have. You will see some vendors and shops close.
It is your duty as a consumer to support your suppliers that are heavily involved in advocacy. Writing or calling your Senators or Representatives will do nothing right now. Feel free to contact them if you must, I don't thing it will hurt. You need to keep an eye on CASAA and SFATA. They will tell you when, how and where to act. These groups are pouring through the information and deciding on what action we need to take.

That's me... I don't charge my family when I mix juices for them, but I've never complained if they left a few bucks on my coffee table when they leave... It's always nice when they contribute to the cause and help me pay for the supplies...   Bottles, PG, VG, Nicotine, and flavors aren't free, and I appreciate that they realize that...
Although, I could easily see myself start offering $30 "consultation fees with free bottle of juice" if commercial juices start costing $50-75 when all the new taxes hit

Congress has the sole authority, but they do nothing to stop these Executive Regulatory Agencies, like the EPA, FDA, etc. because they generate revenue by reclassification of products/services into different tax codes, and the fines levied by these agencies go straight to the government...
Yes, it is immoral and unjust, but "legal" if Congress allows it to happen.  This is why the whole of America is upset with our government... they have become a corrupt bunch of "ruling class", only worried about the revenue they can generate off the backs of we peasants/serfs...

Hey all, been a while. I got the email from vt about all this, I clicked the link and fell asleep after 5 min of reading. I think they do that crap on purpose, adding a lot of unneeded jargon until your sense of give a crap wanes. I take it as a personal challeng though, tonight I plan on trying to digest the fda's crap sandwich we are being fed or fall asleep. Either way it's a win, havnt been sleeping well lately.

That depends on the nic level, and flavor added. I currently use 4mg, and would still have to add PG to get my 30PG/70VG ratio. Even at 10mg if I use 20% flavor, I could still get my 30/70 mix.

There has been a batch of LG HG2s that has turned out to be either defective or possibly counterfeit.
Here is a few links that have details:
Can you identify the fake LG HG2 18650 Battery?
LG HG2 with gloss finish insulator
Counterfeit/Low Grade LG HG2 Test Results
Mooch suggests, and I agree that the 30Q would probably be a smarter purchase until they get this straightened out.  I have noticed a big "LG Blowout" from some vendors, and I suspect it is to clear their inventory of any of these batteries, if they actually have any of the Low Grade/Counterfeit batteries.

One good thing about coils... even if you don't build your own, you can easily buy pre-wound coils. How will the government stop sales of coiled wire?
I've got all kinds of back ups that will last me for quite some time, the only things I would want to stock pile more is prebuilt coils and juice. If worse comes to worst I think I would be able to stop vaping without too much trouble now that my nic level is already so low. Still, it's stupid of the government to make this move.
