I'm not familar with the SID, but there is an option to check the resistance of the atomizer/cartomizer (ViVi Nova head) once you know the resistance you can look at one of the charts available on the net http://www.vaporsworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/power-vaping-chart-lg.jpg and play around with the voltage settings based on the reccomendations on the chart to find your "sweet spot" - the voltage is probably too high and that's why you're getting the metallic taste and massive amounts of vapor.

In all honesty the Black Hawk Panzer looks like a SureFire flashlight that we all use. I guess that's why it really sticks out. Right now I am stationed in Misawa AB, Japan.

I will most likely just stick with the Black Hawk. I am trying to think more logically. The AR looks amazing! But it does look like it would get caught on a lot of things in your pocket. I can only imagine all the pocket lint/balled up gum wrappers/etc getting stuck in that rails. Plus I listen to all of RIP Trippers reviews and he said that the original Panzer is amazing! Now if they had an Olive Drab version of the Panzer that would be a no brainer for me (Refer to my profile photo)!

I was a previous smoker and have now been vaping for nearly a year. I work out regularly in the gym and my primary focus is cardio. Tons of running and stairmaster. Vaping does not affect me at all. I vape moments before the gym and afterwards and do not notice any difference. My guess like you said is that you are probably out of shape. Your cardio will come back to you in a few weeks. Keep at it.

Dude, you can't go wrong with the Black Hawk Panzer! Thanks for bringing that one to the forefront for me! That'll likely be the next mod on my list. Being a (former) Marine, I'm totally in the camp of more militaristic style stuff. Good luck in your quest! Once you get the one you want, post some pics.

I got a guy working on a flash suppresor/muzzle brake style drip tip, but it may be a while. He's having trouble with how small it is. Big thumbs and all! Lol. If that doesn't work, I'm gonna send an actual fs/mb to tacmodsusa and see if they can scale one down and make it work.

I agree. What upsets me the most... in every other way, she's an amazing parent to them. If everyone raised kids like hers, I wouldn't be considering getting a gun permit or chirping my car alarm in the middle of the night (when I was in Waterbury) to make sure its still there.
Like I said, I don't want to see what may happen when the wrong person over hears.
Part of me hopes the kid asks me for a hit of mine... as that's an open window to say "No, these aren't good for children. Ask me when you're grown up.".

just a few basic precautions and its not too tough. we all handle plenty of dangerous chemicals around the house....bleach, ammonia, lime away....all of which if used improperly can lead to some very nasty accidents. accidentally mixing bleach and lime away = chlorine gas.
Granted, I'm sure there are some people that would not be safe to be mixing nicotine or any other chemicals.....

Last time I explained my vape to a kid, I told them some things are only ok at a certain age, just like your baby brother can't chew an oreo. "Oreos are great, but not for him, they'd hurt him. Just the same as my vape is good, but not for you."
I fear the day when my friend's kid opens her adorable mouth at school about watermelon "cigarette", as she calls it. My friend is an otherwise fantastic parent to those rug rats. Threw me for a loop to hear her say "Mommy, I haven't had any cigarette today. Can I have some?". Took me a minute to realize, no, my ear problem isnt flairing up. I heard that accurately.
I wish I knew how to address this. She is fiercely defensive of her kids and people butting in on how to raise them. Every other time she has told me about so-n-so giving her crap for exposing her kids to a certain religion, or what she feeds them, etc, I've agreed with her and been supportive. But I just cant agree on this.

I sure will miss flavors when watermelon and the rest get banned. I swear to god, I will take a pull from my crappy, "tobacco" flavored, $15 dollar disposable, far cry from my ego, last thing left not banned e-cig and say to her "Mommy, I haven't had any watermelon cigarette today, Can I have some? I have fully grown adult lungs, and made the informed decision, but no, I don't fully know the long term effects of dowsing my lungs in a near constant bath of PG, VG, and flavoring. I'm pretty confident it's safe, but have accepted the fact I'm only 90% sure. (Mind you, I'm only about 40% sure about the food I eat, but choosing not to eat is deadly) A kids lungs, and 0 knowledge of what they're doing, not good.

Not to mention my friend vapes VERY high nic levels. She gave me some of her juice and it knocked me on my ***, in plain English!

Is that 0 nic juice in a clearomizer she vaped from herself? If yes, I have strong doubts that all her high nic stuff was completely cleared and the kid is truly getting NO nicotine. Especially since my friend did not know you can actually take apart and clean a clearomizer.

I went to the Vapor Hub in Simi Valley a few months ago. I wasn't impressed with the vape bar, or their selection of juice. I ended up just picking up a battery and heading back home.

Received my vape kit the day after Thanksgiving 2013. Immediately put down the analogs and started vaping. Almost fell of the wagon 4 weeks later when I was dissatisfied with my kit. Found this forum and the help and support I needed. Now, the smell of smoke disgusts me. Yay for Vape!

I would bet the cotton played a large roll in your leaking problem. It probably changed the rate at which wicking action takes place. (Slowed it down).

Im glad you worked out a solution but you may find that the double o-ring is uneccesary when you get the correct amount of cotton on the coil.

I had been having some issues with my evod on an inno battery and I was going to the shop today to get it looked at. I'm an overzealous noob that doesn't really know what he's doing yet so I probably shouldn't have tried to recoil it haha. While I was there I figured I might as well go ahead and upgrade to my first apv. I looked at many, tried the itaste, the zmax, and the provari that people talk about so much. I will eventually get a provari but I didn't want to get in over my head. I walked out with a SID. LOOOOOOOVE it so far. It's perfect for someone like me who is still new to vaping. It's good enough to be respected by the vaping community but simple enough to be fun and easy to use. I bought a vivi Nova and a trophy tank which to my understanding is a clone of the protank. My battery is a 2000mah IMR High drain which once again to my understanding is the best battery to have. I love this thing guys. I'm so happy with it. It's sturdy. It's not as heavy as the zmax but it isn't light at all. I feel like I good use it as a tomahawk haha. I've messed with the voltage and wattage and I think I've found my sweet spot for now. I got it from Nashville Vapor. Staff there is amazing plus one of my friends works there. I'm all for supporting local business and that store is definitely worthy of my support. It's a bit of a drive for me as It's on a different side of Nashville for me but with the quality of service and the variety of products it is most certainly worth it.

So, here's my very short term review. I've had this thing about three hours now.

Vapor production- fantastic. Tons of it.
Flavor - the trophy tank tastes better right now, probably because I need to alter the settings for the nova? yes? No? haha. I'm still stupid as far as things like this go.


Durability - I doubt this will be an issue for me. I never dropped my last pv and I've never even dropped my phone haha. It feels sturdy, nothing is wiggling, etc.

Looks- exactly what I want. Mine is silver. It's a very simple design, but not dull. It's very nice. It's dull silver finish so it isn't overly bright when light is on it.

Menu- so simple to use. The screen is clear enough to see anywhere, but it isn't annoyingly bright. Very simple to go through the menu and change things. Much easier to use than I thought it would be.


Overall - if you're looking for your first apv, take a look at the sid. I'm enjoying it so far. Also, if you live in the middle Tennessee area, please go check out Nashville Vapor. Wonderul employees, very cool looking store, has a lounge, etc.

This probably isn't a very detailed review since I'm still a noob but I think it might still help some other noobs out.

I would get some 100% 50/50 and use that for a cut. That way a little bit is all you need to add so you don't dilute the flavor.

Custard's Last Stand and Doodle from Nicoticket. This is how awesome these guys are. I ordered 50ml of CLS and 30ml of Doodle.
