Hard to believe... One year ago my first vape kit arrived in mail. Ego-C. I had 3 ciggys left in a pack, my beloved American Spirits Black. I happened to be home that day working on my taxes when the mail arrived. 2 weeks earlier, after bumping in to a friend who was sporting what I now recognize as a twist battery and a tank, I began looking in to e-cigs. I had always hated my smoking if I was being honest. I loved it.....but I hated it. The stink, the bother, the ostracizing. It was a long time guilty pleasure. I never really battled with quitting. I just assumed I was doomed, lol. After I saw my friends e-cig I decided what the heck, I'll check it out. Somehow, I stumbled in to VaporTalk. It would turn out to be a god send. Man, there was a lot of BS out there but I was attracted to the site and the people. I lurked for more than a week. I read EVERYTHING. I studied hard and searched wide for hours through the forums and one thing stuck out. People were having success with this thing. I talked it over with my wife and we decided to give it a shot. I placed my first order on line. When it arrived, I immediately broke it out and loaded up a tank. It was some "American Blend" at 24mg. wow, not bad. Not perfect but not bad. My wife said, hey this is not bad. I agreed. A couple of hours later, I was filling another tank with a cappuccino. I realized I can make this work. I tossed out my last couple ciggys. I TOSSED OUT MY LAST CIGGYS!!!! I had had my last cigarette that morning. Both of us never looked back. Couple weeks later I joined VT and made my first post thanking everybody and declaring I was on board. The benefits have been amazing. I literally believe my life has been saved. I just want to say thanks to VT staff for putting this great resource here. Thanks to all the vets who's incredible advice lead to wise decisions and thanks to the whole community for the support, laughs and comradeship. It's been a great year! Let the razzing begin!

This weekend went to a country auction, on a local school yard. first pull on ecig I had a few wanna be security guys swarming me telling me no smoking on school grounds. Since I'm such a quiet reserved old woman this didn't go well w me. I decided to educate them.. which I did, their statements were; federal laws prohibit smoking on school grounds, same thing in ecigs as analogs on & on I could be arrested. Needless to say, the Answers were, Wrong! I'm vaping not smoking, no federal laws period, then educated them on the ingredients in juice. Arrest me, well ya better bring it!!! Maybe the news reporter standing nearby giggling had an effect but they backed off. Went on off & on all day & I vaped while educating, until I fiddled w my tank enough in aggravation it disassembled. Its fixed now but.. finally a real deal sheriffs officer came by that I knew corrected the situation took a hit off my leaking mess and blew it in their face, Settled. Vapers 1- idiots 0 Still stewing over this was Hoping it would show up in local news but no. Darn it! I even maintained a semblance of control thru it all. I've decided to call the owner of the security service. Just had to vent! So pissed, glad I didn't fling the tank. Are there any laws to justify their statements before I call? Searched but can't find anything.

I'm all out of tiger wire. I'll have to twist some up when/if I get home this weekend. I know that all my coils I build would last for a good long time, but I just can't seem to stop taking them out and putting a new build in. Can't wait to get home a mess around with my 22g kanthal!

Probably the best customer service I have had in a long time. When I received my box this last month one of the bottles had a faulty safety cap which then caused it to leak red eliquid all over every bottle in the box. I called and explained this to Chris at zamplebox and told him I don't feel comfortable vaping a product that has been open prior to me getting it and has now contaminated the other bottle. He immediately resent my entire order no questions asked!!!! If you were on the fence about this service I hope this helps

After 23 yrs of analogs, and the last 5+ yrs at 2 pks a day I joined this forum looking for help in what to buy to help me quit. I recieved lots of advice and ordered my first e-cig set up and some liquid. The day it arived it was mid afternoon. I started charging the batt and investigating how it all worked. Whithin an hour I was up and vapeing.... Over the next 4 days I vaped and kept falling back to 3-4 analogs a day, they tasted like crap....lol After the 4th day, I decided I didn't need, nor want analogs. I had all I needed by vapeing. It not only gave me the nic I needed, but the routine/habbit I had known for so long. Fast forward to today, I now have a sense of smell returning (not all smells are good btw...lol) but last week I noticed that for the first time I can remember I went to sleep WITHOUT wheezing!!! I know everyone responds differently as they get away from analogs, but I'm more than impressed and thankful to be vapeing now! It's changed my life and I owe many of you here a great debt for all the advice and encouragement you gave me before I started, as well as now that I have. I will do the best I can as I grow my knowledge to pay it forward! I promise!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never meet most of the ppl that have, and continue to help me, but just know that you've made a huge difference in my life.

I should warn you that I suck at fishing..... lol I live on a lake, but the name comes from the fact that I service and install aquariums! I love eating them, but not the ones that go in my tanks....

They think that because I'm a driver, I'm uneducated. Problem is, I have 2 bachelors. But education is not an indication of knowledge. I have a cousin who is a professor of microbiology that is dummer than a bag of hammers. Good at only his field of study, but can't balance a checkbook or figure out why he got screwed over on his home mortgage. Of course, my degrees are utterly useless. Psychology and philosophy. I CLEP'ed the first 2 years of gen knowledge and double majored while active duty. I wanted to become a Warrant officer. But they closed out my MOS for reenlistment and promotion. Some days I wish I was still in. Blah, blah, blah.

I am doing my best to convert people, another friend 2+ pack a day smoker, had a heart attack this weekend, just got out of hospital awaiting bypass surgery, his daughter started me vaping so were working on getting him vaping now he's so stubborn.

I did however find an old coffee can I used last year for a butt can that I had to throw away today!

Since how juices taste is so subjective, it could be that it's you. It could be that it's the type of tank you're using, the coil's resistance, the juice, the PG/VG ratio of the juice, the voltage you're vaping at... There are all kinds of different variables that it's hard to say it's "this" and have it be right.

I would suggest Fasttech they have it at a decent price. With the free shipping it would be cheaper than I could send to the UK. They have Authentic RSST as well. Have thought though... If you have a friend in the States or Canada that could pass it on we my be able to work something out.

yeap normal life is around 1-2 weeks for an OEM Kanger coil head. If you were a really lite vaper could be longer. If you are vaping juice that is dark or sweet could be less.

Thank you Dasfriek. Yes it does suck to find out after you spent money for a product to find out it is fake. Batteries are the worst. At least with hardware you can still make back what you spent. With batteries like the Sony's and AW's etc. not so much. The main reason is the danger and people, understandably, not wanting to take that risk, they become unsellable. Sounds like this vendor may see that he made a mistake and is working on correcting it. That can only be be a good sign. PM me about the Juice I'll see what I can do. I have 4 requests I'm working now for custom flavors. so. it may be a bit before I can get to a new custom flavor.

Sitting in Dallas, waiting to get loaded with more shingles going to Springdale, AR for delivery tomorrow. Thats too close to the house on a wednesday. I only live an hour from there. I would, I did almost 6 hours research to make sure the Sony's I bought to sell were legit. Down to talking to people that have done even more research than I had. If a vendor is going to say something is "Authentic" they should make sure it is. If it is not then say so and give the customer the option to buy it or not. I think every vendor should make a reasonable effort to know what they are selling. I don't trust vendors that: 1. Say something is "Authentic" or post a picture of an authentic item, and then send a Clone/Fake. 2. Hide the fact that it is Clone/Fake by not saying either way. 3. Have no clue about a product they sell. As far as reputation all vendors understand how competitive the market is, if they don't, they need to find a new business. When you sell fake or overpriced clones, and/or don't care about the customer by giving poor customer service, it will bite you in the a** and your reputation will tank. There are far to many good vendors out there to be complacent and will only hurt a business in the long run.

congrats to you on quitting smoking ..you will start feeling so much better soon. I noticed that when I would go places I could smell cig smoke out in front of stores..as x smokers, we did not notice the way cigs made us stink..but, now we do...( I was a 3 pk a day for 30 yrs smoker) I have been smoke free for almost 4 yrs and I am alive!! Congrats to you..stick with it..always have back up battery's, e-liquid and other supplies with you =)

RBAs were really not meant to used on a twist. As fishguy said just get a KPT 2 pro or Mini and rebuild the atty cartridge. Once you get good at rebuilding those, moving to RBA would be your next step,

At the risk of being in violation of the sites T&C they also say marijuana is a gateway drug when I know many many people that are in their 40s and 50s that have used cannabis since their teenage years and never touched anything else. Nothing can make someone do something else except free will. That's it, and any attempt to claim otherwise is just sheer ignorance.
