First of all no you should not start vaping if you don't already smoking tobacco. It makes no sense.

Second please read our forum rules before posting. We have a zero tolerance policy on drug talk. Electronic cigarette are already a controversial issue with the general public we don't need THC e liquid added to the mix.

Good evening, vaportalk members. I come from Texas, a particularly redneck part actually. I am a senior in high school and have smoked 2 cigarettes in my life. I did not like the "high" and the cancer talk made me uneasy. After daily weed smoking for 2 years, I got my stash found and now I can't smoke anymore weed.

Today In class I tried my good buddies "SmokeToLive" vaporizer ECig. He let me hit it and frankly I liked the feeling, I liked the smoke hitting my throat then lungs, I liked the visible smoke and how it disappeared almost magically , and how you could smoke under the table or in the bathroom. However, I'm not a nicotine addict and I'm not sure if I want to become one. I know I can't get cancer, but should I really start nicotine? Is nicotine alone harmful to my health? Buying a "nicotine-less" ecig seems sort of silly, like buying fake weed or some ****. I am considering the Blu Ecig.

If you are using Cart make sure you are filling the Cartage until the filler looks like a Slushie or Slurpee and make sure you hit the top of the bridge with a drop or two of eJuice.

It sounds like the bridge is getting dry and the fiber filler material is melting to the top of the bridge.

I suggest tossing the filler material and Direct Dripping. Check out Chris's video on the How To's.

In a nut shell you need a Starter Kit and some eJuice.

Juices are a little harder to recommend only because what I LOVE you may HATE. Go for sample packs.

The Court of Appeals dissolved its March 31st stay of Judge Leon's injunction. In English, Judge Leon (District Court) issued a preliminary injunction against the FDA, telling it that it could no longer seize NJOY and SE's shipments while the case was being heard.

The FDA appealed Judge Leon's grant of the preliminary injunction to the Court of Appeals. The Court of Appeals said that until it actually had time to fully consider the issues, Judge Leon's injunction would be stayed (put on hold).

The Court of Appeals has now dissolved that stay, effectively making Judge Leon's preliminary injunction once again in full force and effect.

While this is directed at NJOY, this should in effect, potentially stop the FDA for seizing products at the border.

Hi Christina - Welcome to the forum. Everyone means well. Just try to understand that we hate to see someone make the same mistake we made many years ago. Most of us have spent years trying to figure out a way to quit smoking are are very thankful for ecigs, but we view it as an alternative to smoking. I wouldn't encourage anyone to start vaping any more than I would encourage them to start smoking.

Welcome to Vapor Talk. Sorry, but I have to throw my 2cents worth in here and agree with BirdDog. If you don't smoke or have never been addicted to the evil nicotine, there is really no reason to start vaping.
This is just not a smart move. Those of us on here have all been smokers for many years and are doing this as an alternative to our habit of so long a time. This really isn't something just to play with.
Keep your lungs clean and enjoy other ways to get flavor like fruits or a good bottle of wine. The habit of smoking or vaping is not something we want to encourage to people that have never done so.
If you are serious about starting and are hell-bent on vaping then I will have to pass you on to someone else because I just can't suggest anything that will get you started.
I hope that you will seriously re-think this out and consider other means of enjoyment.

Your search for the perfect replica of any analog may be futile (IMO). I would suggest sampling a few tobacco flavors and see what one you like best. Part of what makes a Parliament taste like a Parliament is the burning of tobacco. You will not get that with any eJuice.

I tend to like tobacco flavors when I am drinking. Something about the two just go together. Now that I am not a smoker I am all over the place with flavors.

Check out the PM flavor from eliquidplanet. Backwoods Casablanca Blend. But this is not Parliament.

I prefer to use Personal Vaporizer because the word Cigarette has such a negative connotation that some people can't get past the fact these are NOT cigarettes.

PV's are as close to a cigarette as a Schwinn is to a Ducati. Even less so...

Im glad you're liking Vapor Talk so far Prouddad. We have a great community here. Vapor Talk is what it is because of its members. Sometimes we will get a flamer or a troll but the staff here is pretty quick at handling those situations. I believe most of us here dont take ourselves too seriously. I cant stand cartomizers, they jack up the taste too much, so I'm a die hard atty fan. You don't need to clean your atomizers often, but when you do clean them, use this method (I seriously have atomizers that are 7-9 months old):

Take the atomizer off the battery and blow super hard into the battery end, this blows nasty old juice out of the screen in the bottom back up into the coil.
Put the atty back on and vape it a few times until you get less vapor, and dont inhale this vapor, it will taste bad, just blow it out of your mouth.
Do that a few times until you dont get any vapor anymore

Now, you can dry burn the atomizer if you want, some people think that this helps... Dry burning is just keeping your finger on the button over and over to burn junk off the coil in the atomizer.

What I like to do is get some crest pro mouthwash (its blue, and doesnt contain alcohol) and heat it up for 30 seconds or whatever in the microwave. Soak your atties in that for 15 minutes or so, and kinda shake it gently every once in a while. I dont know what the deal is, but this stuff cleans the crap out of your atomizers... Ive tried peroxide, rubbing alcohol, denture crap, whatever, this works the best.

Its super important to rinse your atties really good after this, using warm water. Its critical to suck water through the atomizer with your mouth over and over to get everything out too. Rinse them super good, maybe even soak them for a couple hours. The let them dry... You can do that overnight but if you are in a hurry just use a blowdryer.

The next super important thing is priming them correctly once they are clean... drip a few drops of juice on the atomizer and then just take a couple puffs... drip a few more drops on and take a couple puffs. By this time it will most likely be primed.

I hope this helps someone lol, Atomizers last way longer than people think, and when you clean them good, they perform like brand new.

Your video can be as long as you like. The only limit is your file size. If you have a basic account, you are limited to 500 MB per week. However if you upgrade to Plus, you get 5 gigs of upload space per week, with a limit of 2 GB per file.
