  1. I now see how they got the nickname "Slow Tech", I just got a shipping conformation. Placed the order June 17th......
  2. The B&Ms have to make a profit to stay open. I try to support them as much as possible, but when the deal is too good I order online. Just placed my order for 20 coils.
  3. Ordered 2 10 packs of .5 ohm. Hopefully they are good.thanks for the heads up.
  4. Fadora Vapor has the absolute best customer service and communication with customers. I have never encountered the heights of communication and service to the customer that they have shown, not just on the current order but on every order I have placed with them. Thanks Comp, you're the best!
  5. If you are in Watt mode, you do not have to lock in the resistance. (If I read above correctly you are using the stainless coil in Watt mode). I have found that the Kanger coils do not wick thicker juices well, especially the vertical coils. Above 40pg/60vg with the vertical coils I pluck the cotton a bit out of the holes to loosen it up a bit.
  6. Thanks, I'm no electrical engineer but your explanation makes sense.
  7. Does it matter if the dual battery mod is series or parellel? I may be mistaken, but I believe there is a difference....
  8. Link originally posted in Hi-LiQ forum. I can't verify at this time, but fingers crossed it's true. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-u-s-health-ecigarettes-fda-idUSKCN0YN30L
  9. I have had my Nautilus mini for a couple years and experienced both issues. The ring gets gunked up on me from being in my pocket, I have had good luck freeing it up by soaking it in vodka overnight. I just drop it in a shot glass and let it sit. Be sure to cover it or most of it will evaporate overnight. As for the leaking, after a full tear down I didn't tighten the top all the way onto the glass. It let air in and the juice just flowed through the atomizer and out the airflow holes. Tightening the top should solve that issue for you, but you may want to take it apart to make sure the seal ring is not bad as well.
  10. If the test is for nicotine, it will show if you are using nicotine. I have to take random drug tests for work and have never had an issue.
  11. Possibly a bad coil, swap it out with a new one. The factory coil on my wife's brand new nautilus mini had the same issue. Seems to be common with the coils that come in new tanks, and a bad coil from time to time is not unusual.
  12. I love my UM20. Be sure to get a USB adapter that can put out 2.1 amps on all ports for better charging in the car. Most switch to 1 amp per port when more than 1 device is plugged in to them.
  13. Do you have it in wattage or tc mode? Not sure of the specifics on that device, but it may not recognise a .2 coil in wattage mode. The .2 kanger coils are ni200, and should only be used in TC mode. Or it could be a bad coil, it happens from time to time.
  14. I am currently 8 months ahead on my truck payments. Planning on skipping one payment to get some diy supplies. $400 should get me enough to last a while I think. I may be a bit premature on pulling the trigger, but it's not like I won't use them.
  15. Aspire Nautilus mini is a good MTL tank. It almost opens up enough for DL, but not quite. There is no build deck for it, but the factory coils are quite good, they come in 1.8 and 1.6 ohm. Every shop I have been in my local area has them in stock.
  16. Not much help here, but the istick 40 is only able to set temp in tc mode, you can't set watts. I gave the istick 40 to my wife as I like to set the watts for a quick ramp up to temp.
  17. Everything in my cart is for DIY juice, I figure it will last a couple years (I have an extra 19 cuft freezer). I have RBA decks for the subtank, and ordered one for my Starre tank last week. Batts shouldn't be a problem as I use 18650s in my flashlight for work. I have access to stainless wire through work, I am checking on it's composition. I haven't had a cigarette since March of '09, but just can't seem to totally get off the nic. I have cut from 24mg juice to 12mg in my nautilus mini, and less in my sub-ohm tanks. I do not want to go back to tobacco. Like I said it's all sitting in my cart for a bit, but if it looks like they are going to make current hardware and juices unobtainable I will place the order in the next few weeks, plus some hardware to sit until I need it.
  18. I have been pondering the same. I have a couple hundred dollars of stuff in a cart on RTSvapes waiting for more info on when the hammer will drop.
  19. Just found this article, and debated on weather to put it here of in the new thread in the "law" sub forum. Lots of links to studies, well written and IMO, unbiased. Article
  20. Leagalese makes my head spin, but I basically understand that if this passes, we will be stuck with the cigalikes and those old screw-in atomizers on ego cells with the foam in the tip, correct?
  21. I know it the New York Post, but a lot of people read it. Plus they link to another article for reference. NY Post article
  22. I run my Starre tank with a .25 factory coil at 45 watts on my IPV4s (70vg/30pg or 60vg/40pg)and it looks like Cheech and Chong are here in my 15X20 living room. My wife hates it, I don't get to use this set up in the house often...... I am not really into making clouds just for the heck of it, I just like the visual of it now and then, kind of a link to the days of smoking without the ashtray smell. I have used a friends RX, it fits the hand well even though it looks a bit weird IMO.
  23. If I remember correctly, a red light means the battery is almost dead. If you can hear it firing, check the center pin on your charger too, I have had them push in. If the center pin on the charger and the battery is not the issue, your charger may be bad, or the battery may have given up. How old is it? From my experience the pen batteries last 6-8 months on average.
  24. I don't build my own coils or rewick currently, but I like the Kanger .5 ohm coils. I like them as long as I pluck the cotton out of the juice holes a bit with a pin before I install them that is. I have found that the cotton is packed in too tight from the factory and the juice doesn't wick fast enough unless I pick the wick (rhyme not intended). I typically run them around 35 watts on the subbox, and really close to that on my istick 50W and my IPV4S with a subtank mini or plus. I am using Comp's juices at 40PG/60VG. I am curious to see answers and your results because I just got some 316SS and am getting ready to try building on the subtank deck, and it looks as if the 2 builds would be similar, I have the V2 RBA.
