It's not my business whether or not these folks pay for their sub-forums, but twice I've posted in someone's forums and have gotten no response. I understand, if paying, they can treat potential customers however they darn well choose...but if not, they're just taking up space.

I really don't want to rock the boat, but being ignored is a pet peeve of mine. Nothing more rude.

I don't have any reading for you, but I share your interest. I especially am a nut for WWII aircraft. I have been very blessed to live in Breckenridge TX where my dad was an aerial sprayer (crop duster) Breckenridge at the time had a great WWII aircraft collecting community (old oil $$) It was also the home of one of the best restoration shops in the country (still is) My best friend was the son of the owner. It gave me access to things that many people never get to see. I have played on, and ridden in a lot of them.

I left Breckenridge as a freshman in high school (1984) and lost touch with them. My job has allowed me to reconnect with them and even do some custom work on one of their projects last year (Rare Bear).

OMG, Airplane. Now I'm going to have to go watch that! It's such a hilarious classic and still great today.

It's good in parts...Kingpin with Bill Murray and the hair is funnier, imo.

I admit I have a soft spot for the Farrelly brothers. They're from New England so they infuse a lot of our "culture" into their comedy. They also have local sports guys and local celebs in their movies all the time. "Kick his ***, Seabass!"...that's Cam Neely. Plus Kingpin is one of the funniest movies ever.

Dumb and dumber to

A coworker of a friend hard up for cash gave her every season, in box of Big Bang Theory for $20. She gifted it to me so that will be my playoff prequel starting tomorrow.

But yeah, I was getting sick, over-tired and didn't even realize it. I slept for a good 18 hours....

And they will change it beyond recognition by adding unneeded fan service scenes and changing the storyline so much it's pretty much unrecognizable from the original book when they finish.

As for 'aging' one of my local shops forgot about peach tea they were working on. It sat for 3 months. They just put it out today and it is (to borrow a phrase from Rip Tripper) Guuuuuuuuuuuuuudddd!
