LOL at turning the regulation of vaping into a partisan issue. Personally I would prefer to not have any spokesperson for any activity I engage in that is affiliated with Fox News or MSNBC for that matter.

$11 for six months of rebuilding supplies (not counting different gauge wire, and set-up materials of clippers, hemostats, pliers, torch, gauges, meter, magnifying light for my poor eyes, etc, etc. --- Not to mention the TIME involved to rebuild, and do it RIGHT), and 50 pre-made coils will last me nearly two years...

So 11 x 4 = $44 for two years worth of (only) rebuilding supplies, compared to $36 for two years worth of tank coils? Yes, my statement stands... at least for me

And, no, I don't own an RDA... and don't plan to in the near future either... I'm quite happy with my tanks.

Just want to post about this. Saturday we went to our local festival called "The Flea & Ox Roast". It basicly a big Flea market, Party and Carnival rides for the kido's. I met Steve Cook the writer of the Michigan Dogman song. Now before you start posting that it is fake and blah blah, yes it was an April fools joke he did for his WTCM radio program back in 1987. It has since went viral and has become a legend. I live in the area of this legend and it is well known around here. Steve Cook is a really down to earth guy that loves to tell a good story and he does a good job. All the proceeds from the song and movies over the years have gone, and go to Animal Rescue Shelters in our area. Two years ago he had a movie made and a 25th anniversary edition CD of the song that also includes some other spooky local stories. I bought the set and got a signed poster with this drawing.

This year he had a second movie done and was at a local festival promoting it. I bought the second movie and had him sign it as well. I had told him the story of my Cat attacking the Dogman and chewing off his ears and he got a kick out of it. I then told him the story of my daughters boyfriend and scaring the crap out the boy playing the song. As I played the song I was telling him how close we were to these sightings and he went pale. LOL Steve Cook got a good laugh out of it and said, "Since you told me such a great story I'll give you a replacement poster at no charge." I will keep this one out of the reach of the cat so he can't chew it up. Poor Dogman, getting bested by a cat. LOL

If you like a good story and want to help the shelters in our area, please take a trip to his web site and buy the 25th anniversary edition of the song DVD.

I haven't tried a lot of different APVs but have had a Vamo for about 9 months and I have put it through hell and it still works like a champ. If it broke, I wouldn't shop around I would buy another.

When I first began with mods I used a kick as I was still not good enough with coil building and didnt have much confidence with the limits of my batteries. Now that I am more experienced I do not use my kick anymore as I just build to get the wattage that I want to vape at. Personally speaking I think a kick is a great way for newer vapers who want to get into mods but are a little on the inexperienced side. But I'm sure there are plenty of vetran vapers who use a kick all the time with a mod. I still like to buy mods that have the option of using a kick and I would love to see the day that someone comes out with a 30-50 watt kick, because I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Basically saying the IL Department of Health has to establish "special packaging" and standards, etc., for all e-juice packaging. Also, from the date of the law going into effect, until the such a time as when the Dept of Health can implement and design such packaging, and put such regulations in place (a process that could take up to two years, just for a child-proof bottle and some regulations for using such), e-juice sales would be BANNED in the state of Illinois until then. WTF????

First off, the Dept of Health has NO knowledge of what the legislature would be asking them to step in to do. I have no problems with having the state require the health department come up with "special packaging" and regulations about the use of said packaging, but it's just STUPID to ban the sales of juice in the state for as long as that process takes. It's cutting off tax dollars, for one, and people can still buy online.

As far as the legislation in the first place, well, requiring child proof containers is all well and good, but I've yet to see a bottle that can hold 120 mls that is child-proofed. Also, what about juices the REQUIRE glass bottles because they are tank crackers, and what about the shops that sell the juices from out of state vendors, or online vendors, that use glass bottles? I can't see the vendors approving that the shop repackage their item into the state's "approved child-proof packaging" to sell in their shop. Heck, that would KILL the business of one local shop - they ONLY carry the juices from online vendors, and they are ONLY in glass bottles. What I see is if the local retailers ask for permission to repackage into the state's "approved type packaging", the vendors will pull just pull their product from the retailer.

And that's not even getting into whether the Dept of Health knows enough about e-juice to address the issue, or knows ANYTHING about packaging.
