    Some funny stuff in there...

Yearly cost of a pack-a-day habit $1,000? I guess they don't want the savings to seem too attractive, lol

Before I quit analogs, and was still smoking cigars, my wife and I went to pick up pizza. As I was standing outside waiting for her, I thought I'd light up a cigar. When I realized I wouldn't have time to smoke it, I just put it in my mouth between my teeth. A lady drove up and parked about 50 ft. away from where I was standing, and when she got out of her car, she saw me and started coughing, gaging and waving her hands in front of her face like she was fanning away smoke. She yelled at me to move away from the door and said the smoke was choking her. When I held up my unlit cigar and said "lady it isn't lit," she in disgust, stopped coughing, gaging and waving her hands, and replied "Well, I don't care, it stinks anyway."
This is simply stated, an example of how unreasonable and crazy people are about the issue of smoking. This person was suffering physical symptoms of trauma from something that didn't exist.

Another pub said no on the e cig before I even got through the door. I was taking a drag as I was walking up and a chap was outside smoking. Turned out to be the owner. I did an about face and walked to the pub across the street where they gladly let me vape indoors.

I'd leave the pub. I'm not going to be out in the cold cause some one else is jealous my activities dont hurt other people.

I've been kind of upset about the latest news coverage on e-cigarettes. They've been getting a lot of spotlight in the news, and even if in a positive light on most of the news rooms, there is a lot of misguided information and uncertainty. CNN did a cover story, advertising it ALL day long on the radio and on the commercials, asking the question "Are E-cigarettes really safer than a real cigarette?" kind of misleading questions. I know it's how they get views, but even during the segment they're like, "Well, we don't really know the harmful effects of the e-cigarettes, but it's been improving some people's lives... so... yea!" >.<

I just wish the news actually covered them correctly instead of developing this sense of... mystery about them and this skeptical approach to the users.

Don't buy batteries from Fast Tech, It will delay your order and may get sent back to Fast Tech. I find the coils you mention to be sub par. If your having trouble with building coils just buy the KPT replacement heads they are cheap. They are much better than wick and wire ones you mentioned. I get those with the rebuildables I have and they are just junk.

There are some of us that just have to do it for the sake of the experience. Most people yes should just grab and vape. I grew up wanting to see how something works, recreate it, rebuild it. For me it is more than just a hobby it is relaxing and satisfying. Without DIY we wouldn't be Vaping at all. It is getting in a creating something that didn't exist before or making it better. Most Juice makers started by doing DIY. Don't sell the DIYers short.

And yes I was one that looked into growing my own tobacco, I just found that it wasn't my cup-o-tea and bought Camels. People just need to know their limits and stop when they get in over their head.

I would stray away from the sub-ohm builds until you are more familiar with mechanicals and coil building. Remember, the lower the gauge (thicker the wire), the lower the resistance (ohms).

I am familiar with coil builds and mechanicals now, but still don't like to venture into sub-ohm territory for my go-to daily vaping builds. I do love to experiment with different coils, and love building the next craze, but I'm not looking to chase clouds all the time.

Try to find that sweet spot, great flavor and good vapor production. Play it safe.

The entire article is quotable. For instance "The dream of a tobacco-free, nicotine-free world is just thata dream. Nicotines beneficial effects include correcting problems with concentration, attention and memory, as well as improving symptoms of mood impairments. Keeping such disabilities at bay right now can be much stronger motivation to continue using nicotine than any threats of diseases that may strike years and years in the future."

Plus it covers all the science stuff...

Blend away Barbie! I enjoy blending juices, finding my perfect mix, just do it in small amounts, sometimes it doesn't work out so well. I ad a brandy flavor to a lot of things, menthol or peppermint in small amounts can wake up a dull flavor. Mint choco chip and bannana is fab!

I play with this all the time. I normally vape at 18mg but like to have something a little higher on hand in case of a rough day. I usually do this with Spearmint. I buy 50ml of 24mg and 50ml of 16mg and mix them in a 100ml bottle yielding 100ml of 20mg for the high stress moments or when I have to stealth vape and need a little to go a long way. With 16-18mg liquids I am fine under normal circumstances but even almost 8 months analog free sometimes its just not enough.

    That one about addiction....
My cigarette based "nic fits" were atrocious.
My vaping "nic fits".... Unpleasant, but not the sheer torture of my cigarette withdrawls. Its obvious to me there is something ELSE in cigarette that is either also addictive and to a much higher degree, or something that enhances the addictive properties of nicotine.

Welcome, and thank you for being up front about your stance.

    Are you aware of:
    The Drexel Study
    CASAA.org
Kennedy Onassis research teams, and the studies being performed, notably Dr. Farsalinos
    Clive Bates
    Dr. Michael Siegel
    Dr. Polosos (sp)
    Dr. Gilbert Ross
    Forbes financial article
CDC's Partial release of a study vs CDC's FULL release of same study
National youth statistics concerning smoking (all time low)
100 French doctors petitioning FOR eCigs
FDA, CDC, a French study, all being debunked and how, why, by whom.
Big Pharma's grants to bribe towns, universities, states, etc into banning their strongest competition, the eCigs
156% ecig users were smokers, http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0079332
TSET's rules for receiving bonus grants...
ALA, ACA, TFK, etc, and all alphabet soup orgs involvement in trying to ban eCigs by suggesting we keep buying smokes until eCigs are taxed the same way

If you are aware of even a few of the above, then why are you in opposition?
We want truths, no propaganda, no agendas, just plain dumb truths.

I'm nicer than I sound. Honest. Welcome!

You mentioned seperating "tobacco smoking" from."nicotine use".
At a job interview recently, I was asked if I'd pass a drug test. I said I only use caffeine and nicotine. She assumed I smoke. Nope, I dont even carry a lighter. No burning, no smoke, I'm not a smoker. I'm a vaper.

Changelabsolutions already has many next plans laid out, with the same battle plan they used on smokers, then Vapers.
First is sugar. They call it an obesity plan. Say what? Sugar makes kids hyperactive, gets them off the couch and onto their skateboards and bikes, basketball courts and swimming holes. Sugar makes for skinny, not fat, in a normal metabolism kid.
Next is the Fat, carbs, battle plan. Surprise surprise. Take away smokes, sugar, leaves only chips and dip, which do put on the weight.
All of the above have the same plan, leading to the same excessive taxing.
There is already bullying, shaming, ridicule going on if caught with a cookie, a soda, or a hot dog. The prepping stages, if you will.
It's a hate propaganda, set in motion for an "ideal" world. Sound familiar? Yep, to me too.
Fight these morons wherever you can!!! How dare they bully us, let alone our children, all in the name of "save the children". We all know that "save the cheerleader... ooops, I mean children" slogan is really a "tax 'em high" slogan, as well as a New World Order slogan. IMHO anyway.

You don't want to add ANYTHING containing melatonin or seratonin into your system without having a measured amount. In other words, the only way to get melatonin is the OTC supplement, because you only want about, I think it's a 3 mg total dosage before bedtime. Seratonin, I'm really surprised that they are able to sell anything with seratonin OTC, but I see that they can. Seratonin is NOT something you want to take as a "supplement", it's NOT regulated, not controlled, etc., and that's a MAJOR player in brain chemistry.

As far as vaping caffeine, yeah, under normal circumstances, caffeine is all fine and dandy, as long as you do not have excess consumption of it. Even now, doctors are still evaluating how much caffeine is "healthy" for a person to take in. If you think you need caffeine, drink a caffeinated drink.

I would think that is pretty much a scam. You have to look at the temperature at which the components you want to ingest vaporize at . Most vitamin type stuff gets destroyed at the temperatures we are using.
