I echo the thoughts of the previous posters. VT/Chris is outstanding and if there's ever a problem Chris will fix it promptly. The 2nd poster provided with the link (and the info on where he found it at the store) and I hope you use it soon so you can get your vape on. You're really missing out if you miss out.

    Closes 9/01/2010!!

    1. Fill in the petition form & leave a comment
    2. Click the link in the email confirmation you'll receive (check your spam folder)
    3. Check for your signature/comment here: http://actsmoking.epetitions.net/signatures.php?petition_id=1206
    4. Link to it on your Facebook, MySpace, Blog, Twitter
    5. Forward it to all of your friends, family and coworkers who support you (remind them how ecigs are helping you stay off cigarettes), for them to sign!!
    6. THEN print out the PDF version, sign it, stuff it in an envelope and send it by snail mail to each person in the list at the bottom!!

Online petitions often are ineffective, because they are often poorly written, don't give facts, don't target the right people, aren't ever delivered by hand and don't validate emails. Also, online petitions are often called "slacktivism" because no one does the follow up work.

    DON'T BE A SLACKTIVIST!

This petition is designed with the advice from advocacy experts!! The petition + signatures and comments will be printed out and mailed to each person on the list. Email addresses must be confirmed by clicking a link in an email that will be sent after you sign. It's filled with FACTS to raise public awareness and education about ecigs.

JUST SIGNING THE PETITION YOURSELF ISN'T ENOUGH! YOU HAVE TO FORWARD IT & MAIL IT!!

Although we hope it will cause a change of policy, the single most important result of this petition is NOT changing policy - it's the PUBLIC AWARENESS that will be achieved as YOU post it on the internet and give the link to your sphere of influence (friends, family, coworkers).

ONE VOICE IS A WHISPER. MANY VOICES ARE A ROAR!

If the drip tip has a small hole I will drop a drop, let it settle, then drop another drop and blow on the top to give the liquid a little extra push to the atty. I think that's a pretty common practice. But it works for me. Good luck and happy vaping.

I do deeply apologize for the delay I've been in and out of meetings all day. You'll be the first person to ever report receiving a corroded item. We are more than happy to accept the items back and once they arrive will issue you a full refund including the cost of postage. Once the kit arrives we'll need to inspect the batteries to ensure they are ours (serial number under caps) and to ensure no other batteries on that lot have any issues. A refund will be issued within 24 hours of the items return to our office.

I just responded to your email a couple of minutes ago and again we are more than happy to issue you a refund. I'm sorry you are not happy with our service or product. If there is anything else we can do to change your mind, don't hesitate to let us know.

    Hey Junk,

I would have to agree with everyone's comments.

Here is the deal: EVERYONE has a bad day, VT might have had one when they sent your order......... I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are having a bad one today, so I will spare any "Holier than Thou" advice or negative hits to your rep!

    Here are my 2 cents:

I run a branch of a service oriented, material supply company. My branch grosses well into the several millions every year, and I serve many million dollar/per year customers.............the bottom line, I understand customer service. I have never had even a hint of poor service from the VT Store. I was informed of any backorders, and even told when the backordered items would be in. I had a charger part go bad the other day, they mailed the replacement out before I could even ship them back the defective unit.

These guys are good..... they may not be perfect like you and me, but I bet they will fix any screw-ups!!!

I can't believe a customer has to register at a forum before they can get help in returning the product.

I received the product today and it's all corroded!!!

I don't see anything on the store site that relays how to return the product, no print out return slip, nothing but to register here.

I won't be buying again and I do expect a full refund. Perhaps I should call my credit card company to deny the charge.

Absolutely horrible site, horrible product, horrible service.

Wow! Umm...you must have a lot of people dissing you pretty harshly out there in your neck of the woods to jump to that level of anger so quickly. I can totally relate to people and stores being stupid or ridiculous with all there BS and there is Plenty of it out there but I have not encountered anything like that here or seen any of it on this forum. (I could be wrong, but I am usually not) I have not had any complaints personally with Vapor Talk and have ordered from them several times (mostly liquid) but I have seen 1st hand here on this forum the lengths that Christopher etc will go to to help customers.
I hope you will be helped in any form that you need, including your inevitable heart condition.
Maybe this is not a typical response from you and I can vouch that you have to yell and be the squeaky wheel a lot in this world to get anything done.

Uma reacted to nana in Biggest Drawbacks Of Vaping?
Drawbacks? Nope, no drawbacks at all.

Well, if you don't count that obsession thing. The one where you just HAVE to have it in your hand at all times, where you just HAVE to see what's going on in VT all the time, where you just HAVE to check out all the new PVs, where you just HAVE to have some of those new PVs, where you just HAVE to have lots and lots of backups, where you just HAVE to try ALL of the flavors out there...you know...that obsession.

Oh wait!! I know one!! A carton of analogs, an ashtray, and a lighter take up a LOT less space than the hoard stash of vaping supplies. I never once, in 34 years of smoking, ever considered having a special room set aside for my smoking supplies...but for vaping supplies, well...

    12 Days!!!

Still going well. The other night she showed me one of her eGos and said "I like this one best, not the taste, but how it works". It was the LR carto, which is why a ordered a bunch more LR cartos (thanks egolvr for the find). I was surprised that she was liking the LR, but it convinced me more than ever that it's the juice that causes her problems. To experiment, I took one of the regular cartos filled with juice she can vape and put it on my Provari at 5V. She hit it like a champ with no problems! So, she's liking the LR cartos and I just want to note that she's using 100% VG Organic juice and it's working just fine in the cartos. Now, she's not vaping as heavily as many of us, but she's going through 3-5 cartos a day and they are working fine for her.

Friday night I set her up with an eGo-T to try and that's going well also. She actually prefers that over the carto because of the way it feels (the draw and the mouthpiece). She drained a whole tank and a couple of cartos on Saturday. Since she likes the T so much, I went ahead and ordered a couple more of them and also some of the LR ones to try (thanks Morfeeus for the GP sale post). I think she thinks I'm crazy because I keep asking how it's going, what she likes and doesn't like, etc. I just want her to have the best possible experience with this.

Juice. Of the 7 new flavors I ordered from VapeRite, she can only use two of them, not due to the flavor, but because they irritate her. I've gotten where I can tell which ones she won't be able to use because I even found them to be a bit scratch on my throat. The ones she can use feel pretty smooth. Each flavor came with a 3ml sample also, so we've still got 7 more to try (wish her luck). Right now she has three that she can use.

Uma has pictures of her juice box mods in the gallery. Take a look at them. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/forum/gallery/image/835-stus-illuminated-juice-box/

This is a mod made out of a "plastic box". On the inside are two "compartments" - one for the battery and one place for a 3ml bottle of juice. The hole you see in the picture is where the juice bottle is. You squeeze the bottle, which feeds juice (through a tube that goes from the atty to the bottom of the bottle) into the atty.

Here's a link (to another forum) with some pictures of the inside of this juice box...http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modder-accessories-supplier-forum/143825-big-stus-box-mods-5-volt-illuminated-bottomfeeder-sale.html

And here's a video on it...

Did you get a 306 drip tip? The cover on the 306 is the entire outside of the atomizer. After you remove the entire cover, should just pull off, you will have a very small piece with the bridge exposed. The first one I got was a bit hard to remove. It was stuck on there pretty tight. I had to do a little twist turn to get it off.

Yes, they are gorgeous, Nanna! Can't wait to hear what you think of them.

The first LR 306 atty I got confused me at first. I finally figured out to hold the the threads on the battery end and hold the cap while pulling. And like Bird said, you might have to twist a bit. The 306 has an exposed bridge, so don't be surprised when you see it.

Uma got a reaction from Morfeeus in Big Stu's Illuminated Juice Box Mod
I recently recieved my new bottom feeder mods from Stu's Illuminated Box Mods. In fact, they came in yesterday. Which means, I really can't "review" them quite yet, but I can share my joy (to date) with you. I bought the 3.7v juice box mods.

Size: Front and back, 2 thumbs wide. (1.5 inches wide) Sides: 1 thumb wide. (3/4 of an inch) Length: Index finger long. (2.5" high). (approximate, give or take a dash).

Battery: trustfire 14500 (madvapes with orange flames)
    Volts: 3.7
atty: 510 connection. (I'm using a Cisco LR 510 just fine).
    Vapor: great!
    Flavor: great!
    Feel in hand: great!
    extra bottle: yes!
LED: changing colors as you vape (gold, green, blue, red, purple)
    Colors: any color you want
    Customized look: yes
    Lanyard: yes!
    Accent: a Pearl
Price: $40.00 basic, extra with options

Mine is Purple to pink gradation with Raindrops affect. Matching (solid) purple Lanyard.
Hubbys is Silver Gray with black raindrops affect and a black lanyard.

Basic white will illuminate the most. Some users put decals over the white, such as a skull and crossbones or Harley emblem... which is way awesome too.
It's a plastic box, nice and sturdy. It's easy for both hubby and me to squeeze the juice bottle. It vapes great. I don't know how to do the meter readings (ohms) and stuff. Hopefully someone else who has one will do a good thorough review.

This is an affordable and fun way to see if the bottom feeder juice box is right for you before purchasing an expensive model. I'm sure it will last me quite awhile, but I can't confirm that as of yet, as it's still brand new to me. I'll try to write a followup post a month from now. (unless someone else with Review skills & ohm reader purchases one and spares us all from my rambling. hint hint).

Summary: It's adorable, sturdy, cool, lightweight, tiny, and the mod maker is a great guy! (so far)

Uma got a reaction from Glen in List Of Ingredients In Regular Cigarettes
This list is 3 pages long. The FDA and is trying to ban our eCigs and make us go back to regular tobacco which contains ingredients approved by them. It's quit cold turkey, or go back to cigs and die. Quit or die. I don't believe in banning cigs, ecigs, or lightbulbs. I believe in freedom of choice. Which would you rather choose? Not yet approved eCigs with 4-6 ingredients (PG or VG or both, flavoring, sweetener). or approved cigareetes with something like 4000 ingredients approved by the FDA....

Can't quite yet drop that lingering pack a week? Read this!

My first begotten battery (can't tell if she's Joye or Ego, as they look so much alike) passed tonight. It wasn't totally unexpected as she had not been feeling well as of late. Weird charging light blinks...sub-par performance (which for her was odd because she always gave it 110% ), not holding a charge..etc...

Although not unexpected, it doesn't make the loss any less painful.

A "battopsy" is scheduled for tomorrow and the family has requested that in lieu of flowers, that the entire vaping community sends juice. Lots of juice. 10 mls. would probably be o.k. but considering what a great old batt. she was, I'm sure you will probably want to send quantities in the range of 30-40-50+.

On a happier side note, when I informed her cousin Riva about Joyes/Egos passing, she made plans to come visit next week...and bring her twin also. Family ROCKS!

Your thoughts and prayers (and juice) are greatly appreciated.

P.S....If juice shopping in this trying time is just to hard, the family will also accept cash...and checks...and money orders...jewelry...non-traceable items of any sort...twinkies, yeah...that's the ticket.
