There is a learning curve for dripping, so don't give up. If you're dripping on the cart filler, it's probably getting absorbed by the filler and never getting to the atty. The burning throat sensation is usually a sign that the atty is dry. Try removing the filler from the cart and dripping 2-3 drops directly onto the atty. 2-3 drops should get you several good hits.

Yes - you want water soluable flavors. If I recall correctly, TPA uses 1st class mail, so shipping is pretty cheap.

I tried PG, VG and mixes of PG/VG. At long last I found one juice she could vape... VapeRite Organic Waffle 18mg. She tried several other organic flavors and they also caused her to cough.

After some experimenting with zero nic, we found that she could vape PG and/or VG with no problems... it's the nic that seems to cause the issues. At this point, she's been able to vape just about anything I make that's 12mg. Anything over 12mg makes her cough. I still don't know why she can vape 18mg Organic Waffle.




Anyhow, may be something to consider.

The kit that link led to uses atomisers and cartridges.The advice in the first reply will work ,you can actully just pull the filler out with tweezers and wash and pat it dry and put it back in..The cart that usually comes on a 510 atty does not usually have filler in it and is good for dripping.Make sure to blow through the atomiser to remove any primer liquid that may be in there.It sometimes has been in quite some time and can be funky,but will make some vapor.A lot of people do not realise there is not a full cartridge on it and assume it is either nasty or not working right.Good luck and enjoy.

I guess I am not sure what the big deal is. When we smoked analogs we couldn't smoke on the plane either. I personally won't Vape where smoking is not allowed. Do I think ecigs are dangerous? Probably not. I do agree that until this has been proven, they should not be allowed publicly. I am sure I will get flames for this post but I'm pretty tough. Flame away.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! The Tank attys come in two types.. A and B. Type A is a little cone shaped and type B is cylindrical. Depending on which one you get, you'll need the matching tanks (carts) for that atty. Type B has a little bigger tank and will hold more eliquid (2ml in the type B vs about 1ml in the type A).

Sometimes they stick,could be melted from being too hot or dry or could just have a fiber snagged on the mesh.After you fill the cart to look like a slushy kind of flick it in the genral direction of a trash can or the ground and the excess should fly out.Vaping is all about experimenting until you perfect your own technique.Just keep at it.

I believe Madvapes and Myfreedomsmokes are both in NC. They should be able to get something to you fast. Not sure how close you are, but Madvapes is just north of Charlotte and they allow pickups. I've ordered from quite a few places and usually have my stuff in 3 days from all over the country.

It depends on which kind you get. The Ali'i is made from carved wood, takes an 18650 battery, and holds a 6ml bottle of liquid. It is a bit bulky - although I don't notice it at all when I'm sitting around the house, or in the car, vaping. It's too bulky to carry around in a pocket though. And it does have some weight to it.

The old goats mod is very small - in my opinion. It takes a 14500 battery and holds a 3ml bottle of liquid. I can easily hide the whole thing in my hand...it's extremely lightweight, and can be carried in a pocket or worn on a lanyard around your neck.

I have both models and would highly recommend either one. Both work very well and I couldn't be any happier with them. I love not having to drip with them. The Ali'i is pricey, but the old goats mod is very reasonably priced.

The Tanks do take a little time to break in, but not much. One thing I found helpful was to remove the two plastic pieces from the mouthpiece end of the tank. Just use a paper clip or something similar - stick it in the little hole and it will pop right out. Just underneath that piece, there's another one. Do the same thing. I found this gave me better vapor and seemed to make the juice flow better to the atty.

What strength eliquid did you get? The throat hit you get is primarily a factor of the nic level of the eliquid. Also, VG tends to soften the throat hit. You can add Propylene Glycol PG) or Vegetable Glycerin (VG) to reduce the nic level, but it will also reduce the flavor.

For the tanks, I'm using an 80/20 mix and it's working pretty good. I'd say the thinner the juice, the better it will work, so less VG will be better.

I don't know that you can drip with the tank atty. I haven't tried and not sure it will work any better than using the tank on it. If you want to try direct dripping, I would pick up some regular Joye 510 attys (or some Low Resistance 510 attys) and a drip tip.

There have been mixed reviews. I've been one of the lucky ones - been using a tank for over three weeks and it's working great for me.

And yes, I meant Chocolate chip cookie. If you want to get technical, Chocolate chips are not always a substitute for melted baking chocolate. Chocolate chips are designed to retain their shape (for cookies naturally) when baking, they contain less cocoa butter than typical baking chocolate. So while yes, it is still chocolate, it's normally intended for cookies. Regardless it was a sarcastic comment made towards the FDA and their nanny like attitude.
